"Hell if I know." Rodimus wasn't sure himself and that's what bothered him. The feeling was hard to describe it was like always being aware of the other but never knowing what he wanted. There were times he felt very close, way to cloe and others that he was far, far away. Where Rodikmus could only guess but he truefully did not want to know.
They had driven awhile, over an hour by this point. "So care to explain why you haven't called a ground bridge yet?" Rodimus asked he coul have but h was getting the feeling sometign was on Otimuss mind. "Or is this a secret interigation?"

"Oh trees aren't that bad. You can hit tings into them or hit things with them. Very versatile." Breakdown was ahead of Kncok out, as pure the racers request. "Comm single beign down eah kinda weird buggy reall. The rest? Not so bad." He shrugged.

That is an important thing to think about considering our current circumstances. So any idea of what we might do with our resident spider? Aside from blowing him up into as many pieces as possible that is?" Rodimus would prefer that thing gone and dead. Very dead in fact. They had come to an area that no longer had roads but was instead all open uneven terran. Evidence suggested humans had sledomly come tot this place based on thick the vegetation was, dried and dead yes but trahter thick. Transfomring back into robot mode Rodimus stretched himself to loosen up. "So what else is on your mind? Despite hwo well you are at hiding form your team I know you like an open book. So let's hear it."

The two walked for a time til they came to a deep ravine The other side was rather far away but doable if you had a running jump start. "So no idea where we are. still." Breakdown muttered while looking at his internle tracker, it was still whie noise and scambled so there was a jammng near by.
But why?
Airahcnid had been careful returning she knew it had been waiting for her. She barley got away the last time and she hd te marks to prove it, which was why she'd ben so reclusive ont eh Nemeisse. No need for th others to know er little run in. however what she didn't need were Breakdown and Kncok Out suddnely showing up and blowing her cover.
She was so close to!
'You two will ruin everything!' She hissed angelry but realizing with dread and loathing she was powerless to stop it.
"Better you two than m. She thaught darkly watching them from her hiding space deep int eh cavern wall.
'Two more.' The thaught was exciting. It had been a long time sense he had had decient prey. Real pray. The she spider had escaped balry and he had resumed hunting her when he realized she was returning for what didn't belong to her.
These two though ... the big one would be a fun fight. The smaller one .. would be good fuel.

"Oh that yeah." He had a feeling this would come up eventually. Him and Optimus had .. well been attempting somethings long after Optimus relaised Blackaracnia would only view him as a friend. tha thad taken some time as well. "That's uh a hard topic to describe sense ha and I go well way back and all that." Now it seemed to be Rodimus's turn to avoid the queshton and be vague. "As for wehre we stand .. I don't know hard to tell these days. We don't exchange information if you'veever worried about that. As for the other stuff well ... uh ... " s**t what were tey now? They hadn't had any chance to talk it over, being war and eveyrhting. "If you had asked me a few years ago I could have told you without hesitation right now though .. harder to tell.I do't know does part time lover actually exsist in a partner descrition?" He asked.

One other thing Breakdown didn't like was not beign able to bring up his nav points. The monitors and trackings were all white noise. Wch eant whatever was cuaseing it was vlose, very close. "Stay behind me." he wans't giving Kncok Out time to aruge as he carefully stepped towards the edge to lok down. Dark and darker if ther ewas something there it was hiddding well.
'You two will get me killed.' Arachnid was fighenign to not bolt, she could feel him. He was to close.
Breakdown normally a paranoid mess was dead serious and focus, very little got by him int hs mods. "Something's watching us form ahead." He said to Kncok ut. he could get the prickly feeling in his spark, something akin to when he had been captured.
Fear.
His one eye moved slowly and delibrtly searching for it whatever it was. A small noise to his left alerted him suddenly and as he turned he was collided with all fangs and teeth.

'Resist urge to be an effusive a** Rodimus.' rodimus had to mental remind himself time and again to be more ... appropriate with his wording around Optimus. knock Out was able to read him a bit better but Opitmus sure as hel was getting there. " We're uh I don't know uh how do you feel like being with someone infected with cosmic rust. And who has a very shortened life span?" That .. was not a smart deliver. "Okay let me try that again uh .. thigns are .. weird in a good way between us and uh .." 'Genious Hot Rod your a GENIOUS!' "okay if wasn't .. interested I wouldn't be uh .. well with you as often as I am so .. "

"Not heping!" Breakdown couldn feel the armor on his arm beign crushed and the pain was registing int he red form the teeth. The claws and tail were a total bersking attack. Of course it had to get the hand that had his hammer, like it knew ahead of time.
"Nice knowng you two." Airahcnid muttered form her hiding spot. She knew what 2.0's goal was this time and she was staying out of it.
Aimign and langing his fist int he side of the htings head caused it to go flying, and tearing alovly amount of his arm with it. skidding and rolling the thing twisted with such ease and swiftness it seemed unnatural. Giving an angery hiss before lunging a second timegoing slightly to Breakdown's right where he was blind. "Oh hll no!" The swing connected with the thigns head, only it didn't stop it. This time it latched on his side and kep digging and tearing.
"Knock out! Back Up please!" He wasn't accostmed to yelling for backup but considering this thing was both in a blidn spot and in a place he coudnt grab on he was getting despeate. to say nothing of his bleeding out already.

"Way to make this whole thing awkward Optimus." Rodimus laughed despite himself, more for humor relife than beng mean. "As it stands there's no one you'd come between. Last I checked I didn't settle down unless that happened when I wasn't looking. Whcihc given how fuzzy my memory has been wouldnt surprise me in the least to be hoenst."

"Not helping!" Breakdownflung full force to get the thing off him, and it worked if onl to tear the amror off the arm in the process. Hurt like the it and back but his arm was free.
Hissing with more annoyance it spat the mangled armor out of it's mouth dn gave a defient roar. The sent of energon made it even more yper aware and excited.

When it came in for another round Breakdownmanaged to hit it squar eint he jaw with his hammer, it hurt like hell to do. The body went flying to the side with such force it brashed threw sevrel trees and skidded and rolled sevrle yards. Beakdown was fairly certian he broke the things jaw at least. "Yep I'll be more than hapy to cathc it if it hadn't already torn my arm open as a hello." His arm hurt and was bleeding freely but it wasn't anythign he hadn't had before. "That hsould have at least stunned it wanna bring it in?"

"Funny thing is I'm ounge rthan you and was your mentor for a while. Nwo look at you kinda of funny when you think about it." But like Optmus he wans't that goo in this deparmtnet. Sleeping yes but not .. emotioanl.

"Starting to see why eveyrone says I'm a bad influance." Rodims laughed alittle just to let it out. "Sadly as much as I'd love to, and I mena that, I tink Ratchet would stirp me for parts and make me intoa toadter if I keep you any longer. Saly this was all buisness this time, shame that." A nice distraction right now sounded nice and he needed it sadly they were ona tme limit ivne Rodimu's situation. "Also I need ot make sure that Ironhide hasn't gottn himself killed looking for Charoma." The situation with Chorma was both difficult and volitile the had crossed her n the field and the reprogrmaing and been a lethal encounter.

Breakdown despied running orm fights ecaplly against foes he knew givne time he coudl beat. bu this was different.On the Nemsesis Kncok Out was fixing hs arm, which he felt was more a superfical wound more than anything. "It's fine and I coul have killed it given time." He growled out while letting Kncok Out work his magic.

Airachnd had to wait an extra long period fo tim before she coudl dare ventue out agan. It didn't leave and ketp circling he rhidding spot, dangeorulsy to close. Eventally she scurryed out and made it back to the warhsip wihtout suspicion or notice.
