Nemesis was taken aback by the sight of Requiem, especially when Requiem was acting... like she normally did, before Ares betrayed them all and forced Requiem to the wrong side of the battle against her will. The anger that had been coursing through her veins was stunted. Her blue eyes fixed on Requiem, betraying the mixture of emotions she felt for the girl. She had liked Requiem - sure, the girl had been a bother occasionally, but Nemesis had high hopes for her. It was why Nemesis put up with being her mentor.
Then this had happened, and Requiem was an enemy. It reminded Nemesis of why she didn't make many friends anymore. Half of them ended up turning batshit crazy or evil. Some disappeared for months with no ******** explanation when they came back. "You've been deluded. I'm never joining your side. Don't you remember how much I hate doing what everyone wants me to do? No? It's fine." There were more fine, more articulate reasons for why Nemesis would never join the DMC. The one that she gave now would suffice. Nemesis had her own path to follow, and she would not be swayed from it because Requiem is asking her politely.
"Go away, I don't like seeing ghosts from my past. It reminds me that the only way to be rid of them is to face them head on, and I'm not in the ******** mood for it today." She was hurt, exhausted, and she wasn't sure she had the mental strength to take on Requiem, someone whom she had remotely cared for. She could take on Ares better than she could take on Requiem right now. Ares' betrayal was so great that Nemesis could do nothing but hate her.

“Hematite, choose a team and start attacking the shield.” He said suddenly and sharply. “While I do believe that this will wear itself down as a matter of time, all power being limited, let’s make them work for it. However, I want to keep the majority of us rested and waiting for when it does come down.”

A harsh breath left the Senshi of tumbleweeds, and she curled her arms across her chest, ignoring the tacky cling of both Camelot and Hematite's blood that still clung to buttermilk skin. Watching on as Leto continued to pace before punching at the barrier itself in her rage. She screamed a curse, and Navi flinched, wincing as she witnessed the flesh seer away from the bones o fher hand before reforming. Jesus, she hadn't wanted to touch the barrier anyways, but that sure as ******** convinced her. The veteran Dark Moon warrior wasn't the only one that had claimed the newer senshi's attention though, and she turned a worried eye on the general Hematite as he too howled at the cowards that hide behind the glittering wall. Blood falling like rain against it, glowing eerily in the darkness all around them. She didn't know his name, or she might have called to him, and instead took a few cautious steps closer. Unsure if she should speak up about his injuries and the likely chance of him making them worst. It wasn't really her place, but having stopped to help him, she cared. The blood was dripping down his face when he turned to scream at them all, and she stiffened, fingers curling at her sides before turning a helpless glance towards the barrier. What could they do?

Avalon leaned on Pollux, crossing her arms over her undershirt and the bandages that bound her chest flat. "Man puts that much product in his hair, he's can't be straight." Combine their powers? Why! She was having too much fun insulting Osumilite to really pay attention to anyone else. Her smile flattened into an unimpressed look, and then she was grinning again at the pelvic thrusts. "Yeah, because giving you a fantasy to jack off to is really so high on my priorities!" She brushed her hair over her shoulders, gave him her best approximation of a doe-eyed look. "Do you get off to people trying to kill you often? Get a boyfriend, Osumilite!" Arsinoe's observation was met with a sardonic look from the Captain of the Zodiacs. "Oh my, thank you, what do you think we're trying to do here? Organize a tea club?" She took a deep breath and focused on a blonde senshi. "No, it's not supposed to be fairies," she said, combing through her memories. "It's supposed to be..." She smiled over her shoulder at Hematite, waved a hand. They were going to be okay, weren't they? Thisbe's words were bringing her memories to the forefront of her mind, the reminder of the ritual they'd attempted and failed at months ago slamming to the forefront of her mind. "Zodiacs," she shouted over the din of people as the word of what they had to do spread. Because Thisbe was right. She had neglected things she should never have forgotten. "Here, with me!" To those senshi around her, she said, " This wasn't enough before, when it was just five of us. Will you join with us?" Gunn shook her head, helping Hephaistos up. "Hear that? They've got some idea of how this is going to work, so we'd best get up and help them. C'mon, Hephaistos." She walked with him to the center of the hall, a respectful distance away from the Zodiac Captain and her Princess. "Gotta focus," she told him, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I don't believe in Fairies, *coughcough* but I do believe that good people died to protect us." Hara called over to Thisbe.
She thought of Josh, Grant... even the crazy girl who the spider had killed, and the warm flicker of golden light that had seemed to give her a phantasmal hug when they'd felt this thing coming. "...I believe in them. *COUGH*"
It seemed like a stretch to think that believing in things would do anything at all, but what the hell did they have to loose? Other than temporarily loosing a lot of flesh trying to reach through that barrier. Come to think of it, it was sort of the same color as the barrier that had originally kept people from falling off the rainbow bridge. Had it too once been people?

Joining powers? Scylla raised an eyebrow, thinking the idea over. It was a stupid idea. It was brilliant, if they could figure out how to pull off something so hopey-feely.
One person she trusted could think of something though, was Virgo. She stepped up, staring the captain of the Zodiacs in the eye. "Powitanie, Virgo. I... I didn't trust you once. And I ******** a lot of things up. I'm here. Whatever you need from me, lets just get everyone home."

Seated on the ground, not far from the barrier, he was watching everything going on in a sort of zoned out fashion. For a brief moment he wished he had someone to talk to and just...sit with. A sort of calming presence but he lacked that. In a way he did feel alone in all of this. Glancing around, turning his head around slowly, he finally saw a certain blond...Captain. So Osumilite was a Captain now, that was nice. Smiling for a moment he had to cover up a yawn.
Rubbing his temples and then the area between his eyes. He was tired and worn out. He could feel the ache in his muscles especially his arms, from wielding the giant paintbrush he now carried as a weapon.
Slowly his attention turned to those on the other side of the barrier, the enemy. Soon the barrier would fall again and the fighting would again break out. How were they all holding up? How would they hold up for yet another attack? He didn't know how either side was still going or would continue to do so. As it was he didn't even want to get up, he really had to work on endurance training.

Pollux simply looked at Avalon, then at Osumilite. "Sounds like he wants to stick it in you. I recommend mace." He was more amused by the man's lack of maturity then offended.
"Cut your losses, and go back to ******** the shriveled up sluts down in the red light district. At least then you'll get laid, even if you had to pay for it. It must be so difficult when no one wants you." He smiled 'warmly'.

As the barrier rose and the forces were parted, Cancer was a little more than itching to get back and fight, This was Zodiac land, those ******** had no right to be here, let alone say they were in any 'right.' She'd been from earth before she'd played the case of the body snatchers. (Spoiler: She was not going to go back to being dead). She had been a normal girl until they went and killed her. Good times.
Looking for her new comrades, Hawke was hoping they could get moving. "Ah- Captain!" Running up to Virgo, she saluted as the echoes reached her. "One, can we kick their asses soon? Two, Can we kick their asses soon?"

Castor smiled as Scylla rejected the offer. He was ready to- "Nemesis?" Just what was she doing here? Didn't she hate helping? Leery, (mostly for his own personal safety), he approached her. "I don't suppose you're putting the past behind you will apply to others?" Aka, did he even have a second chance. "You're a good fighter. I- I would like to be able to count on you. Not as a prince but-" He gave her a weak smile. "As just Castor."

“Captain…Howlite.” He said turning rather sharply his hand hovering for just a moment over her chest. “If you wouldn’t mind assisting the General when you regain your feet. You’ve been more than a good asset to us. You attend to orders with dignity and loyalty. You are efficient and true to the cause, able to think rapidly on your feet. You do us proud” His hand vanished inside her chest, clasping the star seed within and pouring chaos into it, shaping her, changing her, remaking her in the dark glory of chaos.  “With Pain comes clarity captain, use it well.”

if only... believe...
Whispers, faint and yet unignorable, surrounded the senshi and Knights, voicing ideas that started from few and spread to many. Really, it was just a repitition of what the likes of Virgo, Pasiphae, and Thisbe had been saying -- who knew if there was any greater cosmic knowledge behind it? Then again, what better ideas were there to use?
The knights and senshi interspersed each other almost at random with one exception: facing the monster head-on was Princess Chronos and her court. They all held hands, staring with calm resolution into the face of the biggest threat they had faced in their current lifetimes. This was their home and they were going to do anything they could to defend it. So many colors and shapes of both uniform and fuku wound in a tight spiral into the very center where the youngest and most inexperienced of senshi stood. If nothing else, they would be the most protected until the very end.
Each senshi was compulsed to close their eyes. Close their eyes and reach to the power that moved inside of them, asking desperately for the strength they needed. Give what they could to the whole and maybe, just maybe, if they could work together... there might be some way out of this.
The music of the universe resonated with in them, as strong a call to their very souls as ever. Was it possible they could call on it?

Negaverse and DMC can try to interrupt or discourage their adversaries... or keep hacking away at that barrier.

'Will you join us ?'
Virgo's voice sounded far away, distant. But he knew... He knew he had to help.
Help her like she'd helped him. He'd promised. Europa was patching his arm, and his free hand rose to squeeze Bellatrix's shoulder.
"Can... Can you get me to her ? To Virgo ? She's... She's my friend, whatever it is that she needs... I have to help."
He wouldn't force Bellatrix to help, through.
He never could.Naica stumbled his way upright again, answering Virgo's call - what hell could be done, what else could they do ?
He had to help... If only so he could hope this would be the end.
"W-What do you need ?" He asked Virgo.

Nyx listened intently as she gave Pasiphae an odd look. There were murmurs and shouts all around the castle for all kinds of things, but she would at least humor her friend in this. The look melted from her face when, yes, there was a delicate noise of joining together in the air, like a will-o-wisp.
In a none-too-delicate manner, a formal request boomed from another senshi who held an air of authority. "Just the five of them?" Nyx wondered, filing the question away for another time. There were certainly more than five left standing, even if they were all battered.
"Do you trust her?" Sailor Nyx asked her friend. "Because it's a good a plan as any."

Europa bit her lip as she dug through the backpack, laying out the supplies she thought she needed. She only had as much first aid training as one required to be a lifeguard, plus half a semester of college-level biology and anatomy. Themis didn't need CPR... so the most she could do was try to seal up some of his cuts. "This is going to sting a little, or maybe a lot, I don't know - Bellatrix, could you hold him still?" She didn't wait for an answer, just ripped the packet of peroxide wipes open and began dabbing his cuts - starting with the largest ones on his arms that she could see. "Sorry," she whimpered. She was sure it must hurt like hell, but couldn't shake the fear that if she didn't clean out these cuts before sealing them up they'd get infected. She reached for another peroxide wipe and stopped, because Virgo was speaking. The right arm looked okay. Europa sized the gashes up as she uncapped the liquid stitches. Surely some she'd be better off just using gauze on, right? "Sorry, sorry," she winced, trying to sew some of the cuts closed. She got about two in before giving up and wrapping Themis's forearm in gauze. But it was Babylon who beat her to speaking. He felt fondness for Virgo - he'd trust her to the end of the world and back. "What do you need us to do to fight them back?" he asked, rising to his feet. "We will stand with you." Europa could not find any reason to object. "Themis?" she asked. If Themis trusted Virgo, and Babylon trusted Virgo, then she supposed she would also stand with Virgo. It was do or die, or do and die anyways. Europa looped an arm around the man's shoulder. "Okay." Europa took a hesitant step forward, then looked to Bellatrix. "Help me lift him? Let's move."

His eyes narrowed slightly at the rude tone he got from the Zodiac Captian. He would still help her but he'd been calling for them to work together long before Thisbe (hell it had been months back on earth and no one listened there either) and yet -she- was being listened to.
Figures.
"It doesn't look like you were really trying to get every senshi here to feed power into something that can get rid of that monster and the Negaverse." The only voices he'd heard calling for anyone to work together had been his own and Thisbe's. "Not until she said something."
He would stand with the Zodiacs though despite the captain's tone. They weren't going to be able to stand against the Negaverse another way. Whatever the souls of the dead civilians were doing they had to do it too. If they could create a barrier then the Senshi, who were far more powerful, could make something better if they only focused.
He knew they could do it. They were powerful. They were strong. They were Protectors. They were going to stop Chaos from taking over even if it meant destroying themselves in the process

Slowly he stumbled up arm wrapped over Gunn's shoulder his right one hanging limp at his side stinging with every movement. "Right. Teamwork and a plan." He grunted slightly as he stumbled along with Gunn wincing all the while till they got closer to the Princess, and the captain. "Closer... I want to help... proper..." He pointed towards them meekly, "Please."
