They joked a lot. they said that they already figured i was gay, but thought that if they were wrong and told me that it was "okay to be gay" that it would ruin my life, so they held their tongue. And they said that they were a little mad it took me so long to trust them. They still want me to pursue god though >.>.
My dad says that i'd make a really ugly woman, and that i better be really sure. ((which... he's right... but i'm not doing this to be "pretty" so i don't give a f~))
they also said that so that i don't influence my little brother, who looks up to me, that i should consider moving out before i bring boyfriends home, or start transitioning.
and that they want to talk to my gender councilor about how exactly to get my 4 year old brother to make the shift from calling me "big brother" to "big sister"
and my mom has an issue with the name "Evelyn" but she says if i'm attached to it, that she'll adapt.

They are supportive, at least. Their concerns for your brother are valid, however. I can understand that they don't want him influenced beyond what he decides to do. As for following God, God teaches to hate the sin, not the sinner. They might not exactly be alright with what you want to be, but they will accept it because this is what YOU want. Just saying.
And I'm here for ya, Evelyn! Nice name, btw. If I call you Eve, as in Adam and Eve, would that be okay? =D
