Wei turned around, hauling the boy over his shoulder in a rather disgraceful fashion, the boy's head flopping sickly against the young man's back. Wipng off blood onto the back of his dark jeans, the snake smirked wildly, slitted green eyes glittering. "Hell no," he said with a near laugh, thoroughly amused that the younger male would even dare try and order him around. He knew Shin couldn't do much against him, much less try and get even near him because of all the glass that was on the ground. On the other hand, Wei had boots on and could easily step on the glass wtthout any damage to his feet. Not only this, but Haro was still in a form that wasn't quite human, bright wings just hanging against his back- which meant his bones were fairly brittle and easy to break. He would just threaten hurting the boy if Shin tried anything.

"Thanks for finding him for me," he murmured with a teasing grin as he stepped carefully towards the back door. taking a moment to see if the bleeding had slowed at all. Haro looked horrifically pale...his shirt collar a dark red instead of the green it should've been. Wei wasn't really concerned though, he was sure the kid would be okay, or at least he hoped he would. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to explain to any doctor how he had found an unconscious bird thing with a vampire-ish looking bite on his neck.

Instead of following after Wei, he headed for the front door, figuring the other would have to drive in order to not raise suspicion by carrying a bleeding boy with wings. Fingers fumbling slightly, he unlocked and opened the door as quickly as he could and dashed out to meet the man. There was a car there and a boy who looked vaguily familiar in the passenger seat. But he spared no attention for that. His subconscious had, luckily, kicked in and he was back in full-human form, although he somehow managed that same, low growl. Wei still hadn't made it out yet, but he could smell him coming... Desperate to do something, anything, to prevent the man from leaving with Haro, he opened the hood of the car - not even registering the protests of the orange-haired boy, who, by this time, had recognized Shin as one of his father's patients - and began ripping out cables. Luckily the car was turned off. He stood there, chest heaving, as he waited for Wei to appear. It had seemed to take forever, but the whole turn of events had taken only seconds. He seemed to cool down, adrenaline still there, but less active, and at some point realised he was... bleeding. His feet were wet with blood already and there were bloody footprints that started about midway down the pavement. He had probably scraped his bare feet on the sidewalk, or maybe he hadn't avoided the glass completely. He stared down at his feet in shock, his hands running down himself, trying to find the needle with the cure... But he didn't have it on him.

[[Shiiiiiin. D': !!]]

Leaning against the side of the house for a moment or so to allow the boy to wake up, Wei smiled gently as blearing doe-like eyes struggled to open. He hadn't really bit Haro for too long and he had figured the kid would only stay asleep for the duration it took to get to the car, but he couldn't leave the shade of the house before he coaxed a slightly less animal form from the boy.

Said boy simply stared up at Wei, all color drained from his face, shaking as he tried to change forms. He couldn't concentrate very well, but after wings vanished a reappeared a few times he got a hold of his human form, stilling shaking as vemon slowly seemed to retract and wash away the numb feeling all over his small body. Dragging Haro roughly by the wrist to the car without waiting for his poison to completely wear off, watching with a slight frown as Haro stumbled a few times as he tried to keep up with the taller man.

Picking him up once more, less gentle than even the first time, Wei grinned as he dumped Haro into his back seat. The boy looked...blank. His face wasn't exactly colorful, completely otherwise, an ashy white to be exact...and coveniently for the snake Haro wasn't fighting back but just staring wide eyed at his hands. Aiming to turn on the car before Shin could do anymore damage to himself, the young man nearly hissed as his car made the most horrible sound as he turned the ignition. It was like a sputter crack sort of noise, and of course the car did not start.

"What the hell did you do?" He asked the younger teen ina hissed whisper, clearly trying to restrain himself from ripping Shin's throat open or something else that would be very painful.

Shin was too numb with shock to hear the man's voice. His vision moved from his feet to his hands, which seemed to be covered with motor oil and... blood. It was a small scratch, but the blood kept on comming. It was probably from some wire or something in the car... His mind felt numb with the sight and smell and taste of blood. He tried to snap out of his haze, but all he could think about was that his life was slowly seeping - well, more like spurting - out of him. His gaze lifted and then he saw Haro, which seemed to successfully waken him. He breathed in sharply, realising he had been holding his breath and took the neccessary step towards the boy. "Haro, Haro... are you... Haro, let's go..." He seemed to have forgotten Wei - and the orange-haired boy, who was currently shocked still by the sight of blood.

Liao knew Shin was a hemopheliac - they'd met several times when Shin had actually gone into their house for some sort of test or something on a day when the hospital was full or his father was off. It was strange...

Shin reached out a shaky, bleeding hand to grasp Haro's, his other mechanically opening the car door.

Haro nearly flinched, hesitating as he continued to tremble in the back seat of the opened car. "I...I c-can deal...with this," he whispered, not wanting Shin to get hurt because a borderline insane person had some sort of infatuation with him. "With...him, I don't want you to-" Feeling his hand slip against Shin's the boy stared down with a sick expression. "You're...bleeding," he murmured in a shocked voice, stumbling from the car, using his free hand to hold onto the car door to keep him from falling. "You're..." Although he had been trembling before, Haro was down right close to have something that looked quite like a sezuire he was shaking so bad. This was all his fault. If...if he had never left the store...Wei wouldve never... Shin- he would've never even met him...and Haro thought that okay because he didn't need to be happy if that meant Shin would be hurt.

As the boy tried to keep himself from simply flinging himself upon the older teen and crying, Wei tried to figure out what in hell was supposed to do now. This was not how he had planned things...He hadn't had much of a plan to begin with but he didn't want anyone dead, no matter how blaringly angry he had been minutes before. Fumbling through his pockets for his cell phone, Wei flicked it open, staring wide at the artificial light. Pressing three buttons numbly, he quickly looked over at Liao before pressing one more button.

"Hello? This is Wei Haji, I-I think I need an ambulance."

[[I don't know if I ever gave Wei a last name... Oh well. o__x;]]

He tugged Haro's hand, which was becoming covered in blood, pulling the boy towards the house. "I have... medicine," he said, his eyes seeming slightly fogged. Nothing like this had ever happened to him before... It felt so... odd... He made it to the house, finally. He had, fortunately, left the door open and he stumbled inside. He had already lost a little too much blood for him to keep up rational thinking, but he reached out, remembering there was some right by the front door... There was the box... He opened it and grabbed the needle from inside. He filled it once and then injected it into a vain in the wrist of his bleeding hand. He filled twice more, this time for his feet. He set the needle down carefully and then all but collapsed onto the floor, his whole body shaking with supressed fear.

Liao had grabbed the cell phone from Wei. He knew the number by heart, luckily, and soon he had his father's secretary on the line. He spoke to him momentarily, giving the adress and the name - something he just barely remembered. Though the wall of resentment was high between father and illigitimate son, the man was a doctor first and foremost. He handed the phone back to Wei. "My father will be comming... he's... he's Akizawa's doctor," he said, using Shin's last name.

Haro didn't know what to do. He felt sick with fear and just a little dizzy, a side effect of Wei's venom. Tugging back his collar, the boy attempted to check the torn wounds on his shoulder. The bleeding had seemed to slow, at least, which Haro assumed was a good start. Rubbing shaky hands against his legs, trying to desperately calm himself, the boy crouched down next to Shin, flicking a few dark strands away from his face with a careful, and yet not an entirely steady, finger. "Y-you'll...be okay, n-ne?" He whispered in a trembling voice, bright amber eyes wavering slightly while the boy tried to rid himself of the dizzy, almost nauseous feeling.

Gripping the steering wheel tight, Wei stared straight ahead, muttering a soft 'thanks,' to the boy. His expression was uncharacteristically one that of fear.

Shin nodded. "I'll be alright... That medicine... it will help my blood to... stop flowing out..." he said, trying to explain it in the simplest way possible. He was calming, although he still shuddered with the force of his fear and weakness.

Liao nodded. "He'll... he'll be okay, you know... I'm... I'm sure he'll have the... the stuff that makes it better... The shots that help the blood clott..."
His father arrived after a few minutes. He had obviously been driving quickly because the ambulance arrived a few minutes later - and from the opposite direction. It had come from the hospital which, although close, was still a few minutes farther away than Liao's house. Liao got out of the car and exchanged some words - very stiffly, from the looks of it - with his father and then directed him into the house. Some neighbors had appeared. They knew about Shin's condition and by the prescence of an ambulance, a well-known doctor and bloody footprints, could already tell some of what was going on.

"Good," Haro murmured, leaning down to press a weak kiss against the teen's temple, trusting Shin to be telling him the truth. Upon hearing a series of shoes against pavement, the boy looked out the front door, moving quickly out of the way as a man came sprinting through the open door. Backing himself up against the nearest wall, Haro curled hands around his legs, hoping that this man would make things okay.

Calling someone to get his car taken to a mechanic, Wei closed his phone after his short conversation with whoever it was on the other side of the line. "I-...I-" He felt like a complete jack a**, which he knew he was but he nearly always let it slide as normal... "I hope he is," he finally murmured, jade eyes flickering up towads the ambulance for a moment as it continued to wail for a minute or so after it had already parked.

The doctor exchanged words with Shin and then cleaned and dressed the wounds. "You were lucky this time... what in Hell's named happened?" he asked.
"I... dropped a glass. I didn't know we had any real glass in our house..." he murmured. He didn't particularly feel like telling anyone what had really happened, especially someone who didn't know about... his animal condition. He had, of course, never noticed what Liao was. Their meetings had been much too breif and the boy had always said they had a cat, anyway.

He nodded. "It's lucky... that father... that he and mother live very close... I think that's a reason they moved here," he murmured, refurring to Shin's family. "It's right near the hospital and his personal doctor..."

The people from the ambulance had entered the house, but left after a moment of being assured that everything was fine. Upon normal circumstaces, they would have taken Shin anyway, but Doctor Edward Grenghow was quite convincing.

((*came up with random name* Heehee... Edward. x3
Oh, and Liao's "father" does not know of the cat condition, anyway. Liao's mother thought it might cause him to devorce her.))

[[Ah, okay.]]

Haro had watched the entire time, trying not to blink, as white guaze was wrapped around the older teen's feet and hand. This...this was all his fault. Keeping his eyes open, for if he closed them he was sure the tears would fall, Haro shifted from his curled position against the wall. The adrenaline must've been wearing off because the dull, merely aching, pain that was in his shoulder was now a stabbing sort of feeling as he shuffled over towards Shin. He personally didn't really care that the doctor was still there, but he figured Shin probably didn't want him touching him right then. Keeping a few steps away from the dark haired teen, Haro questioned while rubbing at his eyes with a heavy wince. "You're...okay?"

Wei nodded as he got out of the car, holding a hand to his temple. This just wasn't happening. Sittting down on the curb, Wei pulled out his phone once more before murmuring to the boy. "You...want to stay here and chat with your dad or something? I'm just going to see if I can get a hold of Vi or Chang to pick me, and you if you want, up."

Liao shook his head quickly. "No... My father and I... don't get along. It's almost worse than my mother - at least she talks to me, even if it results in... painful words and... pain... But... he doesn't even know what I am... Mother never had the guts to tell him - it would be proof of her affairs and he might devorce her if he found out what I am..." He sat down next to Wei, his expression dark. "Because what I am is disgusting. It's abnormal and it's a burden for those who have to hide what I am from those who don't know."

Shin nodded, smiling slighty, though his eyes were a bit fogged from dizzy. "I'm... I'm fine..." He eyes the boy's shoulder, not having forgotten Wei's bite. It looked painful. "Is... um... is your shoulder alright?" he asked.

Haro nodded slowly, holding a hand up to the bite, pressing firmly against it with a faultering smile. "See? I can...barely feel it," he choked out, dropping his gaze to the floor, retreating against the wall. He had dealt with experimental or half crazed bites before, he could certainly do it again without complaining.

Wei smirked, "Kittens are not disgusting," he murmured, ruffling the boy's hair gently for only a moment. "There anything but, or at least that's what the kids tell me. Either they want a puppy or they want a kitten. You have better luck me though, ne? Not too many people like snakes," he explained with a wry expression, dark hands folded in his lap.
PostPosted: Wed Jul 12, 2006 6:53 pm

Shin frowned. He got up and walked over to where Haro was. "Are you sure you wouldn't like the doctor to look at it?" he asked, his voice low enough so that the doctor wouldn't be able to hear it. "He might be able to help... and I... I don't want to see you in pain..."

"I'm not a kitten. I'm a... a thing... I'm too much animal to count as a person with feelings or thoughts and too much a human to be a mindless and lovable kitten. If you're a snake, at least you can defend yourself. And people don't want to touch you. All they have to do is get me declawed, although the pain might make me transform..." He frowned. He had never thought of being an animal... thing... as good. From his birth, his mother had ingraved into his mind the fact that he was a disgusting creature that should not ever have been born. That he was a mistake... something that was there despite that it was not wanted. A mutation. Something horrid.

Wei smiled to himself in irony. "People don't want to touch me," he repeated in a soft voice before turning green eyes towards the boy. Because he was dangerous, he was unstable, he was a snake-something evil. "You may know what it's like to be...unwanted, shunned even, but do you know what it's like to have the only person who should have cared for you be deathly afraid of you?" He asked before continuing with another dry smile. "My mother never touched me."

Haro wouldn't mind the doctor taking a peek at it, but...but what would he think? What would be say? An inmcredibly venemous snake that wasn't even supposed to be in this part of the world bit his shoulder? Not to mention said snake had 'disappeared.' Lower lip quivering, Haro nodded once more, lowering his gaze. He would just say he fell and a giant poisonous bug bit him...er...stung him. Uhm...
