Brooklyn smiled and picked up the kitten from his shoulder, handing it to Kisa. "Be careful, it's still really little." He cautioned her before looking over Tala's shoulder at the letter.
"Are we meant to take that as a good sign?" He asked, frowning as he tried to remember where that airport was.

Kai almost slumped in relief before remembering where he was. He looked over at Taki, silently thanking him.
Fayina let go of the guard when he stopped moving and dropped to the ground nimbly. Sacha watched her despairingly. I can't stop her. he thought sadly. She won't listen to me when I tell her it's not worth it.

Taki didn't remove the blade from Ralef's neck, instead he glared over at the lone guard. The guard got the hint, for he froze and moved further away from Kai and the others.
Ralef nodded and looked back at Ralef. "So, what were your plans for today, Ralef? And they better not be brainless or," he moved his blade sideways and cut Ralef's neck slightly, "I might accidently slip."
Ralef hissed and glared at Taki. "You'll pay for this, i sw-"
"Oh no, Ralef, trust me," he leaned in closer and hissed, "i have nothing to pay for. And if i did, it wouldn't matter."
He released Ralef and stepped back. Ralef hand flew to his neck and rubbed, he pressed his mouth into a thin line. "Very well, then. I'll leave what i was going to do today for tommorrow." He sent a glare to Taki. "Happy?"

Kisa giggled an held the kitten carfully, oblivious to what was happening between the older boys. Bryan frowned. "That's a weird place to meet though. I thought that place was abandoned."
"Or used by some secret organisation," Tala put in.

"That's fairly ominous." Brooklyn said with a smile. "But I think we should go and check it out." He looked to were the woman had walked off too. "Maybe she'll be there to tell us more." He sighed. "It can't hurt, can it?"

"No." Sacha said levelly, looking at Ralef squarely. "We do it now."
Fayina's eyes widened. "What the hell are you doing?" She asked him angrily.
"Saving you." Sacha replied softly. "This is going to happen no matter what. Wouldn't you rather it was done quickly so you don't have to dwell on it?"
Fayina shook her head. "It might not happen."
"And that's the false hope that's going to keep you going if this waits longer. The longer we wait the harder it's going to be for you." Sacha promised her, pushing himself off the table and landing on the ground, his legs were still weak from the gas and collapsed underneath him. He grunted in pain but was glad this now put him at eye level with Fayina.
"But what about you?" She asked.
"I will always love you." He said simply. "There's nothing in this world that can ever change that." He smiled sadly. "Not even death."
Fayina let out a soft sob. and leant against Sacha. "Please don't leave me?" She asked quietly. "I can't do this without you."
Sacha held her closely. "Lyublyu tebya vsem sertsem, vsey dushoyu" He told her quietly, kissing her cheek.
"Ya tebya lyublyu" Kisa replied,crying into his shoulder while trying to stop herself from doing so. "Ya tebya lyublyu" She repeated quietly.

Taki watched them for a moment before snorting. "I really don't think you have any say in this, you," he directed at Sacha.
Ralef was about to say something but Taki's glare cut him off.

Bryan sighed. "Am i the only one who can see a slight problem with that plan?"
Tala blinked over at Bryan. "Oh? What is it now?"

"Hm?" Brooklyn asked, reaching out to pet the kitten in Kisa's arms. "Is seems to be ok to me." He added, making a face at Kisa.

Sacha glared at Taki. "I believe I have plenty of say in this" he said calmy, standing up with a bit of effort to match Taki's height. "I'm the one who's going to be the most affected, aren't I?" He asked.

Taki flicked his eyes over to look at sacha. "And how will you be effected, hmm? Can't you even wait a day to screw up you own life?"
Ralef and the guard had started to move towards the door. Taki glanced over and threw his blade. It landed in the wall behind them. "I didn't say you could go."
He looked between Sacha and Kai and then at Ralef. "What were you going to do before he interrupted."
Ralef cleared his thoat. "It was a milder step in the assimilation process."
"Meaning...?"
"Meaning that #1096 was basically following Kai around to get his attitude right for the day, i'm to tired to bother with the, er, other stuff."
Taki narrowed his eyes at Ralef who glared back. He sighed and looked over at Kai.

Bryan nodded. "Maybe, but if we're going to an air base i'm thinking she would want us to be flying somewhere."
"Your point?" Tala asked.
"My point is, what is Kisa going to do? I'm not dragging her everywhere and she's not staying by herself, alone."
Tala shrugged. "It looks like she likes cat, i'm sure the lady who owns that cat would look after her."
Bryan rolled his eyes. "Ok, Mr Know-it-all, what about Brooklyn?"
"What about him?"
"Let me rephrase that, what about Garland?"

"Don't worry about Garland." Brooklyn assured them. "I'm pretty sure I should be able to swing a mathletes trip or similar." He frowned and looked at Bryan. "Are you sure you want to leave Kisa?" He asked. "I mean, you two only just got back together again."

"How will I be affected?" Sacha asked. "I don't know... the process only erases everything that is me and then puts a copy of Kai in there. I won't be affected at all" He straightened his shoulders and looked at Kai. "I won't be able to do this tomorrow." He said honestly.
Kai sighed and bit his lip. How has this become my choice? He wondered as he looked at Sacha.
Sacha held on to Fayina's form, standing beside him. "Please." He asked. It's an honour thing. I'm not going to be brave enough to come here tomorrow

Taki snorted. "But you do it so well," He said quietly, "Its not like your the one being erased now is it?"
He shot a look at Sacha, daring him to argue against that one.

Bryan sighed and looked down at Kisa who was still cuddling the kitten. "Maybe so but i'm not prepared to drag her with me, especially if we're going back to where she was."
"So!" Tala exclaimed, "It's settled then. Tommorrow we can go and rescue Kai."
He looked at the piece of paper and his widened. "Did i say tommorrow? I meant tonight. Like at midnight tonight."

Brooklyn's eyes widened. "There's no way I can con Garland that a school trip he hasn't heard of is leaving at midnight!" He groaned. "I'm definitely coming." He assured both Tala and Bryan. "I'm just going to have to leave without him knowing and come up with an excuse later." He said half to himself.

Sacha shook his head, not quite believing he had to argue with the dark haired Russian to allow him to die with some sort of dignity. "I'm so glad that you're so compassionate." He said icily. "How do you do it?"
Kai looked down at the floor. "Not wanting to be part of this." I hate Biovolt for ever putting me in this position he decided vehemently.

"At least i know who i am," Taki muttered, "And you have somebody here, how can you just walk away from them? It's stupidity!"
Ralef rolled his eyes and rubbed at his neck. "No, im not here, i can't here anything your saying commander."
Taki glared at him. "Shut. Up."

"Well," Tala said, "I don't know about you guys but i'm off to get ready."
Bryan snorted. "I hope you have a coat."

Brooklyn blinked. "Eh?" He asked, too distracted by the kitten in Kisa's arms. I just want to take it home. he decided, knowing that that wasn't going to happen. Not with Garland around.

"I know who I am." Sacha said evenly, glaring at Taki. "Knowing who you are and knowing what you looked like at birth are two very different things."
Fayina nodded. "Saying that's like saying that I don't know who I am because I look like Bryan's sister."
"And as for me walking away." Sacha began before his voice broke off. He frowned and continued on. "Do you think I haven't thought about that? I won't be able to leave her tomorrow. I know I won't and because of your little display here I can't hide. He nodded to Ralef. "He knows about Fayina now and will most likely use her against me."
Sacha stopped and took a breath, looking down at the ground. He looked back up at Taki. "Wouldn't you rather die than cause the person you love more pain?"

Taki shook his head. "If that's really the case, then what's the big deal about turning into Kai?" He shot an apoligetic look at Kai.
"This is the same process and i know you've done it once before, so if you really become that person, how do we know thats the real you? Fayina is a different case, she was sent to reveal herself so she couldn't be eactly that person." He narrowed his eyes at Sacha, "And you do a hell of a good job at fooling me,"he said darkly.
"Die?" Aske Taki quietly, "I would never want to die and leave someone i loved behind because i asure you, it hurts more." He took a shuddering breath before continuing, "You may think you're doing them a favour but your leaving will hurt them more and then what can you do?" I turned angry eyes on Sacha, "Nothing! Thats what! If you were still alive you could comfort them but no your dead! You've left them here alone and worse than just alone you've left them here broken!" his voice cracked a little but he continued, "Don't leave her," he turned to Kisa, "Your death is worse than anything Biovolt will do, trust me."
Ralef clapped hi hands slowly. "Oh, this is so touching, Keiji, but a waste of my time." He walked over to the wall and tried to extract the blade planted in there with no success. "Hmf, well," he turned back around, "unless you still have declarations of love to crap on about i'm going to have to ask you to follow my direction or, " his eyes narrowed, ' i might have to call some more guards in and sort this little group out once and for all."especcially you Keiji.

Bryan rolled his eyes and smirked. "Well, if Biovolts in Russia i'm thinking you're going to need a coat."

Brooklyn grinned. "True enough," He frowned. "But I don't think I have a coat that thick... Or a coat at all." He amended. "Does someone have one I can borrow?"

"Do I act like your little brother?" Sacha asked angrily. "You know that I was only acting under orders. I don't even know you. Why would they have made me completely into him when it was a straight retrieval mission?" He asked, glaring at Taki.
"Would you prefer that Biovolt hurt her and then killed me anyway?" Sacha asked him. "I know you probably want to kill me and that's fine. But I'd prefer that Fayina doesn't get hurt, wouldn't you?"
He looked at Ralef. "Does that mean that we're doing this?" He asked the scientist.
Kai looked over at Ralef, not knowing how to respond to the insane situation they were in.

Taki gritted his teeth. Ok, save kai, help kisa, save kai, help kisa, DON"T DO ANYTHING STUPID, save kai, help kisa.....
Taki huffed, walked past Ralef, pulled his blade from the wall and walked up to Ralef folding his arms. "Ok, i'm obviously getting no where with this," Ralef gave him a trumphant smirk, he ignored it and continued, "Do what you want with them-"
Ralef interrupted him, "Ah! Excellent! You're finally comming to your senses Com-"
"BUT" Taki continued, "Do anything to Kai this time and this blade," he held up the prized possession, "will need cleaning tonight. Leave any of the majour step for later. I don't care what he says," he motioned to sacha, "And don't say this is any kind of rebellion becuase i assure you, it won't just be me who's going to be upset if he gets hurt. He's apparently valuable."
Ralef smirked all the same, finally he was going to get his claws on the one that they wanted. "Of course commander."
Taki sighed.I don't know how much longer i can keep you unharmed Kai, you better appreciate this....

Tala looked at Brooklyn shocked. "You don't have a coat?! What do you do in winter?"
Bryan smirked at the red head's reaction.

((Whatever happened to Sacha being tres sacrificed?? I was all geared to kill him then Taki went on a Crusade to save him. What's with that?!?))
"I don't feel the cold that much." Brooklyn explained. "If it gets too cold I stay inside." He smiled sadly. "Not much of a chance of that happening when we go is there?"

Kai looked at Taki, beginning to panic again. He's leaving me again? He wondered, looking between Ralef and Taki. "What?" He asked quietly.
Sacha sighed. So it is going to happen He thought grimly. He looked down at Kisa and crouched down to be at her eye level. "Ya budu vsegda lyubit' tebya" He whispered quietly ho her.
"Mne ne zhit' bez tvayey lyubvi" Fayina said quietly, embracing Sacha tightly.
Sacha sighed and wrapped his arms around Fayina's smaller form. "Nasha lyubov' ne prayduot s gadami" He told her, smiling gently.
