Nightmare stood there watching as the group of genin gathered. He sat away from the group with his skeleton mask on not talking to anyone.

Hookugan | Sound | Genin | All Seeing Cory looked up at her through his mask, which was shaped like a hawk's face and beak, giving him an intimidating look.
"If there's any problem, big or not, I'll be happy to help." He said calmly, the eyes of his hawk-mask almost boring into Dezu's eyes, the never blinking, and highly detailed eyes reflection Dezu's image.
"My name is Cory, by the way... What is your's, madam?"

Nightmare looked up at the Acting Otokage. "All i have learned was 3 Katon Techniques and the four starting techniques." he said as he did not blink showing his Icy blue eyes.

"Alright then. Follow this clone," Wind swirled up to form a clone beside him, "it will teach you the next two chakra control exercises." The clone beckoned the student towards the hotsprings as Edward looked back to Yamato.
"Now then, do you want me to just teach you the technique, or do you want to learn more of how it works and then learn it?" Are you worthy of it?

Yamato's attention was drawn to the strange man with a cane who had arrived, and the oddball who had been in and out of the Otokage's tower all day. He got a strange feeling from the guy with a cane, like a minor pull of attention.
"I generally have poor chakra control, so I am surprised I was able to grasp that technique in that time frame. Hmm, however, less is never more when it comes to learning, please teach me about it first"

Deza begrudgingly wiggled out of edwards grasp and walked towards Cory.
"Herusu Deza, but call me Ez or Eza or any variation of my name really." she kept her head held high and her posture strait and proud, as always. she showed no fear, no sign of backing down. "welcome to team two."

He attempted to stand up straight, although leaning on his cane would render this gesture in vain as he eyed Edward.

"Great to hear. The technique works on the premise that what the Byakugan and the Sharingan see is chakra. We know for sure that that is what the Byakugan sees, and from the fact that the Sharingan can discern between elemental jutsu means that it does as well. Now then, what the Chakra Mist technique does is project a thin screen of chakra around your body, blocking their sight from seeing what your chakra is doing. Imagine it as if you were trying to see leaves through a sheet of glass that had leaves painted all over it, you wouldn't be able to see what you wanted to.
The Chakra Mist does have a down-side. You cannot use expressed chakra - meaning no earth walls, no mud flow rivers, no earth dragons for you, while I wouldn't be able to use even a simple lightning bolt, water whip, or fireball. This is because the jutsu you tried using would suck in the chakra from the mist, powering it up further, but destroying the shielding mist. That should be enough back ground information for you to understand how this is very useful for people who prefer hand to hand combat while fighting Uchiha or Hyuuga." Edward took a deep breath here. "So what area of training are you going to exploit today, Sensei?" he asked, shifting his cane slightly to the right to support his right leg a bit more with leverage; it took a lot to stand still with a cane and weakened leg.

Hookugan | Sound | Genin | All Seeing Cory shuffled his weakened right leg. He couldn't use to walk effectively, but he could still lift it and kick with it. He kicked off with his left leg and cane, jumping backwards about five feet. He stood on one leg, hunched over in a battle position that lowered his center of gravity signicantly, this cane being held above his head be his right hand.
"See as how you are the superior, you shall go first, madam... My treat."
