Well how old was he before (This is 30 or 40 years later)
So He might have retired; but the son would be a great age for a ninja

Well, at 25 he was subject to testing, one of the medical tests set him back 7 years... so he is actually 18... so either 48 or 58, his son was 14 months old when it ended...

So Haji was still in the area of decent ninja but Ulric would be in his prime, cause of his alterations... he was bred for greatness, his mom was in a clan that aged slowly, roughly half as fast as everyone else, meaning their lifespan was twice as long... so instead of being 30-40 he would be more around 24-30... and he would have learned all of Haji's jutsu because he would be able to unlock his kekkei-genkai... in all honesty I was breeding a warrior in my son... ^^
