I'll check the background again in a sec.

EDIT:

Ok, read through again. I do appreciate the damage limitation on the mecha and morals imposed on the person.

goldbrease parked his mecha in the Tokugawa on the GNG recruitment center island...so I think what we're going to do is this:

When goldbrease arrived, the repair teams were grateful for his rush to assist the beleaguered island, and with approval from Captain Rivers, spent some of the base's resources to try to repair the mecha as best they could. This has been a looooonnng process: GNG mecha are based on Robotech/Battletech/Macross systems, and so those are the only parts that have been available. Because there are no parts or ammo that fit goldbrease's mecha, the GNG Recruitment Center's techs are fabricating parts.

Captain River's deal to goldbrease would be this: The repairs would be free, but they would not be gundanium alloy. The base has no gundanium, and no resources to procure them. Also, several functioning pieces from his mecha would have to be removed and replaced. These pieces would remain his property, and stored in a section of the Tokugawa hangars for him to retrieve should they become useful again. The reason these pieces are to be removed is because there are existing parts that could be adapted to the gundam to make it easier to maintain and reload.

While the retrofit is in progress, goldbrease has been issued a destroid: a Gladiator. The Gladiator is based on the GNG recruitment center island.

The psychic powers still have me worried, I'll admit. We'll run with it though, and if something seems unfair or unbalanced, I'll let you know.

by the way the picture of the gilgamesh in the Super Dimension Fortress Macross II:
Lovers Again reminds me of your npc who has hsi tail shoved threw the ship's out hull.

wait, are we talking Gladiator assault mechs like from Mech warrior? I LOVE THOSE THINGS! pile on some gauss cannons and LRMs and I'd be good to go

Nah, they're talking Gladiator from Robotech I bet, as she said that's what ASDF technology is based off of. wink

Which would be, mace, missiles, and a few Anti-Infantry gun clusters.

ow wait duh, the gladiator is the spartan, unless this is a differn't version.

I don't know what you're going by, Macross Names, or mix ups, or even from the video games (For some reason they mixed up a few in the games, like Battlecry, where they called an Excalibur a Spartan.)

And no, the Spartan is something different. The Spartan doesn't have "Arms", instead of Arms is has massive drums containing lots and lots of missiles.

Thus it was my least favorite destroid. For the same reason I never like REF veritechs. You fire off your missiles then you're basically an non-combatant until you reload...

I liked battle cry.... except for the fact that the bosses had insanely higher hp, the female zentradi power armor were easyer to dispatch then the battle pods, the zentradi fighters were way to armored and fast they literaly when it circles around you. and the male power armor was like a mini boss fight they took insane amount of damage to kill and had a gun that would blow you up in one hit. (well that gun wasn't the problem it was just the fact that this slim power armor could take 5 full power sniper shots into the face plate and the guy would still come after you.

by the way found this on ebay:

ok anyways to figure out were i starts lets see..
since i'm at the recruitment outpost, I would mostlikely be In the hangar, Out on patrol or in the soldier lounge.

*annoyed with Robotech in the destroid department...too many name inconsistencies* Yes, I am apparently talking about the Spartan now. They called it the Gladiator in the Robotech RPG, and in the cartoon series.

That one. sweatdrop
