The Chiss seem to be crooked around this point, so going to war would be an excuse to raise taxes, just a tad bit more to keep the government stable and pay for war funds. The Hand is by this time almost collapsing, while the Remnant has had Bastion attacked and pillaged, so a war for them means more planets and resources.

Anyways, I guess it could be a fictional conflict during the New Republic era. That would make sense, and it would be a fairer fight, as the Remannt was pretty strong back then.
It wouldn't even have to be a full blown war like the Droid Wars, but maybe some minor skirmishes.
I already know my character would be a Chiss liason to the Republic.

Nelo, you know how you wanted like a one planet RP? I kinda thought of one.
A planet is discovered by the Chiss or EotH in the Unknown Regions, the results of which are shocking. Human settlers arrived at the planet in some point of incredibly early, pre-Republic history, and settled said planet. Said planet is "backward" as in, Earth-technology.
Each galactic government sends a representative to meet with the planet, but some things are left better untouched...

FP, does every RP plot have to have the Chiss government involved as a major faction? I mean, its as if the Empire of the Hand is involved with every suggestion. A simple planetary rebellion would do quite fine. No large named armies, just a relatively minor rebellion. But a rebellion that seems quite major on the planet's surface.
I actually was thinking of a plot more along the lines of Operation Meteor.
As for the DSA, its a splinter group. NHI backs the DSA, however, the connections between the two are somewhat classified. Rumor is that they deal with one another, while NHI simply says it is only doing buisness.

No, as in the rebellion is supported by the populace, then the populace gets a change of heart.
Like Oz versus the Gundam pilots when the colonies didn't want to accept the gundam pilots for trying to save them.

I see! however, it will take something signiffigant for the people to turn against the rebels. Like Anti Imperial Terrorists blowing up a shopping center or a school. If interested, I happen to know just the group of radicals to use.
