 Trey smiled as she looked at Ken, it made her happy he could be himself around her. Still having a bad a** front, but not afraid to show what he hides away from the rest of the student body.. maybe Jay was wrong, maybe she had a chance with him after all; If she ever gained enough courage to tell him how she felt, that is.
She took his hand, walking over to the table with the rest of the students. As she walked though, her hand laced with his, she didn't even look at him from her nerves, they where hay wire! Causing a fluttering feeling in her stomach that made her feel a tad bit dizzy.
"Well, I'm glad you will then. Maybe I'll hold you to it, but really all I want to do is get this over with.. I don't do school functions too well. I'm here for two reasons, this.." she pointed at the table "And one unspoken." What the hell is wrong with me! she suddenly felt like slapping herself at her last comment, now he'd want to know what was unspoken.  Karii continued the call, naming one student after another, handing the gifts over happily as they came to collect. Her eyes shown bright at the reactions she got from the students as they opened their presents, some happy, so joking, some even had the expression like 'oh, you got me this..' But they where all grateful that they had received something.
Finally all the gifts where handed out, even some that wasn't on the secret Santa list. She smirked to herself, for she had gotten the list of new arrivals, and bought them presents that where in their age range. So everyone had at least got something.

Softly Mandy patted Morrigan’s shoulder. “Its ok, I’m here and so is Lunaru.” She said softly squeezing the child’s shoulder. She knew she was scared, she could feel her shaking. In hopes of stopping the child she knelt down and softly kissed the top of her head. “I got you a special gift Morrigan, its in there waiting for you ok?”
Standing back up she looked at the pile of gifts. She saw the rather large box; she knew it was from Jay to his person. “Jay...” She softly whispered her hand falling from Morrigan’s shoulders. Shaking her head she tried to smile. “Lunaru, keep her safe alright? I need to go sit down. Oh, and Morrigan, don’t worry I’ll be keeping an eye on you too.” Turning away slowly Mandy headed towards a table next to the window.
Once she was in a chair she sighed softly, resting her elbow on the table, her chin resting in her hand. “It wont be the same without you here Jay. This school isn’t going to feel the same.” Laughing softly she looked towards the heavens. “I know you can hear me Jay. I’m sorry that you gave up, I’m sorry that your family and friends couldn’t help you overcome these odds you face.” Closing her eyes again she remembered, there was one last thing Jay had to do.
The day before he died she went to visit him in the ICU, he was talking, but it wasn’t good. He told her where she could find two gifts in his room, two special gifts. However, that was not it; he also gave her a small envelope and told her not to open it to give it to the one. She knew who he meant and she hoped they would come back.

When Morrigan hugged tight to Lunaru, he impulsively and gently leaned his head upon hers affectionately. He then reached forward to get his and her gift. After handing hers off, he, without thinking, kissed her cheek. After, Lunaru froze holding his gift. "Way to go, now shes gonna think you're some weirdo" he thought nervously. He mentally scolded himself but went along for Morrigans sake. The last thing he wanted was for her to be nervous. He then lead Morrigan to a spot away from everyone where they could open their presents. Lunaru slowly and neatly began to remove the wrapping paper. When he opened the box, his heart jumped and a huge grin grew on his face as he saw a brand new and blank star char. He couldnt wait for the ball to be over. That gave him an idea as well.

Morrigan giggled as he kissed her cheek, it was warm, soft.. Unlike other kinds of kisses she received. She smiled as she layed her head against Lunaru, white strands of her hair sticking to her face, framing it perfectly.
She held the box in her arms, pulling the corners first, then unwrapping the soft plushy gift. Her eyes widen as she saw a new teddy bare. Better then her Ralfy, he was rather large, brown, and extremely fluffy. She hugged it tightly as she looked back at the tag. Then her eyes shot to Morrigan, and just like a kid on Christmas day, she shot up, ran and gave her a hug.
Then she looked over at Lunaru, smiling as she saw his reaction to his gift.

   She closed her eyes for a moment, her smile becoming more genuine now. "Haha, really? Well, it's not like you caused a major fight or something." Aurelia then looked up at Riku, knowing that she wouldn't be able to see him much, if at all, after tonight. "Really now?" She tried to put on her best (or rather, worst) frown on her face. "See?" She then brought crossed her arms in an attempt to keep herself warm. The Queen placed her chin on his shoulder. "Who am I now?"

The Headmistress  At Karii's offer, Stella nodded her noble head in assent. " Yes, I'd be very grateful if you could do that."
She had never personally experienced a loss, and for that the twenty one year old was grateful. Though... she thought sadly It may not remain that way, Grandfather isn't getting any younger. She was startled out of her thought's when Karii noted that it was time to get the Secret Santa going. " Ah, yes, that'd be nice." The dark haired woman said rather gratefully. She disliked standing and speaking in front of a crowd even if the crowd was made up of her students.
As she stood in the background watching from afar as Karii handed out gifts to eager students, a rare genuine smile appeared on Stella's normally cool and stoic features. It made the twenty one year old beauty absolutely radiant, not that anyone saw it of course since everyone including the staff were totally engaged in the giving of presents. Not that the headmistress minded that no one was paying attention to her, she was just happy that everyone else was somewhat happy and enjoying the holiday cheer.
When the taller boy stopped short in front of her, the fake smile was still pasted on her face. But when his hand reached out to touch her cheek, she swatted his hand away. Misa did not like to be touched by strangers, the only physical contact strangers generally had with the little fire elementalist were not pleasant. Most beautiful as if! She said privately to herself. She had seen the way this boy had looked at other women, she wasn't stupid.
" I apologize, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline, Shou-san." Misa said, her voice sweet and ringing, but firm in it's tone. " I'm afraid I have other duties to attend to." And with the utmost grace, the Ace whirled around in a flurry of silken skirts and drifted into the crowd of students gathering around the Christmas trees for their gifts, hoping that the boy would not follow.

Mandy smiled when Morrigan hugged her she kissed the little girl on the forehead and hugged her back. “I’m glad you like it, I just thought you and Ralfy must get lonely, so I got you two a little friend, its female too.” She said nudging the little court member. She was glad that she liked the gift, she wasn’t sure if she should get her one of those little dolls she had so many of. Now that she saw her face beam so brightly at the gift she got, she was glad she picked it.
A smile crossed her face as she pulled Morrigan so she was sitting on a chair near her. “So, what do you think of Lunaru? He seems nice doesn’t he?”Chuckling softly she handed Morrigan a glass of punch. “You know sweetie, I think your one of the most beautiful people here tonight.” She wasn’t kidding the child looked simply adorable.
With a shrug Shou headed outside, he didn’t need to attend the stupid secret Santa crap. No, he didn’t need a gift from anyone. He had all he wanted; slowly he pulled out a small pan flute from the inside of his jacket and began to play softly. Within moments a sweet music began to filter out, surrounding him and spreading out farther. He didn’t care if people heard why should he? He was known for his music after all.

 Morrigan giggled as she was lifted into the chair, she smiled brightly, being the happiest she had ever been in her life. She couldn't remember ever feeling like this, safe.. Loved.. She didn't want the feeling to go away.
Then her cheeks redden at the mention of Lunaru, she liked the boy a lot, it was obvious by her reactions to him. She turned to face Mandy, her voice not as low as it usually was. Confidence found in her tone, something she never before shown. "I like Lunaru.. A lot.. " she confessed to Mandy, giggling once more as she did, her hand quickly reaching up to cover her mouth.
She was telling the truth, she never felt anything towards boys before. It was such a new feeling that she couldn't help but explore it. She looked over at Lunaru with a smile, he really was cute.. And he had white hair, like her..

Astin held her gift close in the rush of students, she looked down at the packaged Bonsai tree and smiled it would be nice to have it in her room. She looked about the crowd looking for any familiar faces sucking in air as she caught site of Tai. She bit her lip wondering if she should go over and say hi, looking over at him she said to hell with it and walked towards him. He looked like a student and if any faculty said anything she could just say she was discussing the security of the ball with him. Swiftly moving through the crowd she placed herself beside Tai glancing at him, "You did a really nice job decorating."
Feeling nervous she began rocking back and forth on her heels which wasn't very smart since she was actually wearing heels and stumbled a bit grasping Tai's shoulder to catch herself. Once she had regained her balance and her face flushed she quickly turned her face away embarrassed, "Sorry."

Hayden's blue eyes followed Misa as she darted across the hall away from a taller gentleman. She seemed upset and his anger flared, he wasn't a fan of men upsetting women but he had his promise to Astin that he wouldn't do anything and he was sure she didn't mean just matters involving her. Sighing, steam escaped his mouth as he held in his desire to walk up to that guy and punch him out as he walked away. Hayden snapped his head back to where Misa has gone and followed after her, careful not to upset her anymore, "Um, Misa is everything alright?"

Mandy leaned over and softly squeezed Morrigan’s shoulder then released her. “And here I thought you were scared of males. Or is Lunaru special?” She asked looking at the side of the child’s face. “Regardless Morrigan, I’m glad you found another friend. I’m very proud of you.” Closing her eyes she began to wonder. Why do I care for this child? What has made me become her friend? She’s a Court member, I should hate her and yet... Mandy thought as she looked down at the little Court member. And yet, I care for her like a mother.
Her voice barely a whisper now Mandy slid from the chair and held Morrigan’s hands, kneeling in front of her. “Hey, do you want to look extra beautiful for Lunaru, Morrigan sweetie? Because I know exactly what you can do.” A smile crossed the Black Knights face as she spoke, she was going to have fun with this.

 Ken followed Trey towards the table with presents. The first reason was a given, she obviously got him for the secret santa. However, his gift reciever was killed by a suicide attempt. It was still there, though, a small little 'Sorry I snapped your Jaw' card that he bought... he had no clue what the kid wanted, so he simply got him a double purpose 'Get well' card. Hopefully, she wouldn't see it.
However, her unspoken reason gave him concern. Secrets were a nice thing to have, but, when your involved, it's nice to know whats going to happen. And with how she was acting, it could be many different things. "Your unspoken reason..." He trailed off, hoping she'd fill in the blanks herself. Out of the blue, he sneezed, scowling a bit deeper at his sudden outburst. Riku giggled a bit at her frown. "I told you it doesn't suit you." Shaking his head he pretended to study her a bit closer, eyes crossed as if straining to find a proper answer. Only one person came to mind, and that was Ken. He almost always had a scowl on. "You're trying to act like Ken. Don't let him catch you, he hates it when people do that... just ask the last kid." He joked and touched the corners of Aurelia's mouth and tried to force it into a smile. "But, I think we should get back to the Ball. I believe the school would like their Queen back, and I do believe I said I'd be able to dance with you."  Tai looked down at Astin and grinned widely at her compliment. It'd been a while since someone complimented his elemental work. After all, most people would find it horrifying if you shot water out of your hand, or froze the ground to simply create an ice sculpture. "Thank you Astin. Although those white roses you created came out rather nice as well." She rocked back and forth on her heels and he watched her carefully, and when she finally lost her balance, he flinched to catch her, but she used his shoulder for that. He grinned even wider when she looked away embarassed. "It's quite alright Astin. I don't think anyone cared, myself included."

She looked down at her feet now wondering if he had received his secret santa gift from her yet. Her eyes glanced up towards him her blush growing as she saw his grin. Astin swallowed hard her voice semi shaking though she fought hard to hide it as she was prepared for rejection, "Tai...would you mind showing me your ice maze?"
Her eyes shot down, to bold. Why was she being so stupid right now?

Trey smirked as he sneezed, she couldn't help it. It was funny to her, his question followed by a sneeze. She smiled as his gift was in his hands. A small box 3 inches long and maybe 2 wide. She knew he would like it. But she knew he wouldn't let her other reason slide, it wasn't in his person.
"Well, my unspoken is you.." she said, trying to act like it was no big deal. It was a big deal to her, a very big deal. But she quickly averted his gaze and looked at the box in her hands, neatly unfolding the wrappers. It was from Cyclone. She knew the gift had to be funny.
She smirked as she slid her pinkie under the tape of the box, then she opened it. Almost fell over with laughter as she pulled the green and blue blanket and matching pillow. The blanket held a rather large tree that branched out. The pillow set to match. She looked over at him with a wink. It was a sweet gift, and she could understand it, seeing that she slept so much..Especially during the winter.
Then as she tucked the gift back in her box, she looked back at Ken, watching him open his. Morrigan giggled as she looked down at Mandy, who was asking her if she could make her look even more beautiful. She had a idea on what she ment, but wasn't exactly for sure. But she nodded none the less, she couldn't really say no to Mandy.
She hugged her new bear and Ralfy close to her, tilting her head as she watched the other students opening their gifts. This was her first true Christmas, really. The first holiday she was happy, and not under constant surveillance. She did miss her mom however, the poor woman was spending the holidays in a asylum, as if she realized where she was at.

With a smile Mandy reached around and unhooked her beautiful white gold necklace studded with diamonds. “Here, put this on. I’m sure you’ll look beautiful with it on.” As she spoke she put the necklace around Morrigan’s neck clasping it slowly and doubling it up so that it wouldn’t be too long. “See, you look even more beautiful already.” Patting Morrigan’s leg Mandy stood up and smiled. “You can go spend time with Lunaru, I won’t mind, I have some planning to do. I’ll see you in your room later alright?"
