Jack came in with two packets. When he did, he was surprised to see that Takiko was asleep. He smiled, seeing that she seemed better. He walked over to the bed and placed the packets on the table next to her. Soon, he got on the bed and lied on top of the covers next to her. He groaned quietly. He felt exhausted himself.
"Just be alright, ok?" he whispered silently.

Takiko did not hear what he said. Her skin was back to its normal color. Though she was still overly warm. It was unusualy for a vampire, especially the kind she was, to have any warmth at all. Without a natural body heat to produce it. Her breathing was heavey, her body exhausted from lack of blood. Fresh or old, she was delpleted of both.

Jack sighed quietly as he put an arm around her and held her closely to him. He closed his eyes and slowed his breathing.
"I'll protect you," he said quietly.
Soon, he himself began to drift to sleep.

Takiko woke to see her and Jack only inches apart. His arm was even over her. For some reason her cheeks beging to redden again, not from the illness though. She was actually blushing. For reasons she did not even understand. Even though she was awake, she did not move. Takiko felt warmth, his warmth. Which reminded her that she needed to get fresh blood. Almost being able to feel his heartbeat was causing her eyes to begin to glow a deep crimson color. Luckly, Takiko quickly caught herself, her eyes returned to normal. No matter what, Takiko had to make sure to control that.

Jack eyes weren't open. He wasn't exactly asleep... he was more or less in a drugged state. He was exhausted and tired. He slowly opened his eyes. He could see Takiko was awake. Jack blinked and stared at her for several seconds.
"There's blood on the table..."

Takiko turned her head to look at the blood packets on the table. A small smile spread iself across her lips. Her put her head back to how it was before and closed her eyes. "It's all right. I'll be fine for a while." Takiko was still ratehr groggy and planned on getting them later.

"Alright... that's good."
He let out a quiet yawn as he closed his eyes again. He needed to rest. His breathing slowed as he tried to relax. Although he had no trouble getting to sleep, his worry for Takiko stayed in the back of his mind.
"You need the rest."

Takiko made it seem as though she was fast asleep. Without a reply to what he had said, her breathing was calm, and her eyes were closed. Even though she was really awake. Takiko did not want Jack to worry about her. She would just wait for him to fall asleep, then go for a short hunt. There had to have been a human passing by. They were in a residential area, after all.

Jack soon began to fall asleep. He was exhausted. He couldn't stay awake any longer. He groaned quietly as he drifted into a state of unconsciousness.
Just stay alright. I don't want to lose my last friend here.

Takiko's eyes slowly opened when he felt like he was asleep. Takiko knew she would not be able to walk far. Luckily she had learned a few things from watching Kyrre. As one of fingers touched a shadow near them, her body slowly turned to mist. Streams of black mist swilrled around her. Without a matter of minutes, her body seemed to have become with the shadows. This was not an easy task for Takiko, everytime she did it, it reached the boundries of her voidmastery. Being ill did not help. The same mist her body seemed to change to appeared just outside of where they were. She was now on a sidewalk, standing next to a surprised teenager.
The only thought was to kill, without hesitation. The surprise of seeing a pale girl appear out of shadows sunned the boy. Allowing Takiko enough time to sink her fangs deep within his neck. It was not long that he was drained dry. Not a drop of blood left in him. The body fell limp to the ground as Takiko stood. It was clear she was much better. No longer cold, yet tired because she reached the limits of her voidmaster. Takiko stumbled a few times when she tried to walk. Every muscle in her body ached.

Jack's eyes opened slowly, waking up. Something bothered him. He looked around and noticed Takiko was gone. His eyes narrowed as he looked around some more. She wasn't anywhere in the room. He groaned quietly as he closed his eyes.
"Probably went to the bathroom..."

A bad feeling filled Takiko. A snarl was heard from behind her. Takiko was wanted dead by a lot of the lycans. The snarl was undistinguishable as a lycan. Takiko was glad she took the blood of the human, it gave her enough strength to pull her long katana from its sheith. Just as she spun around, the lycan lunged for her. The blade catching right in its mouth. Unfortunatly, the lycan bit down on the blade. The only thing between the young vampire and the lycan was a thin streak of metal.

Jack grunted loudly as he heard something going on outside. He swore under his breath as he got to his feet. Without thinking, he rushed to the door to head outside.
"Takiko?!"
He quickly picked up speed and opened the door as quickly as he could. When he was outside, he saw a Lycan. He gasped outloud as he jumped back. He quickly pulled out his gun and aimed.
"Takiko, watch it!"

"What?!" Takiko snarled, her eyes glowing a deep crimson.
It was clear she was back to herself. Ignorant and over-confident. All she knew was that Jack was behind her. She did not know what he was talking about. Takiko did not even think she needed help.
One hand grasped the blade tightly, the other tightened its grip on the hilt. Her hand was sliced open from the blade, she didn't even care. As the lycan pulled on her katana once more, she pulled again. To add more pull on Takiko's side, she pulled even harder on the hilt, and brought her feet off the ground. In a single motion, she sent a swift kick into the lycan's chest.
It was just strong enough to make the lycan lose its breath, causing it to drop the katana. When she kicked the lycan, she used the momentum from the kick to allow her to do a flip away from it. Her body curled in the air, the katana back in one hand. The fight would be over by now if Takiko was able to bite a lycan. Unfortunatly, lycan blood was about as health as Cyonide.

"Damn it, Takiko!"
He rose the gun and aimed. Suddenly, he froze though. He felt an urge to join Takiko. He could feel a blood lust coming up. He grunted quietly as his eyes twitched. His fingers grasped the gun tightly as his arm tightened. He shook his head.
"Damn it... not now!"
Come on Jackie boy... dig in.
