She nodded to him looking a bit miserable. She grabbed his shirt and burried her head in it, panicing a little afraid he'd want to leave now. She couldn't be alone again, now that she really knows what she was missing ... she would't make it... it would kill her.

He tensed a little but then wrapped his arms around her, petting her hair. "Hey now, don't you go assuming things alright? I don't plan on leaving. You won the race and I won't go back on my word. I didn't want to leave anyway." He whispered as he gently rocked her to calm her down.

She tried to hide her tears but they fell none the less and she didn't speak for a long time, hoping he wouldn't notice, just clinging to him

He sighed and rocked her gently still, keeping her close as he pet her head. "Shh, I'm not leaving, not ever. You are the first person to ever show me kindness, so why would I leave that?" He was gentle with his movements, his voice soft dispite how low it was.

She looked up at him and mounted up on her knees, teary eyed but she didn't care, pressing her lips to his softly. She'd show him kindness for the rest of his life if he'd let her.

He stiffened again but melted into the kiss, his arms going around her waist and pushing her down into the couch, getting on top of her as he deepened the kiss, starting to get greedy.

She moved her wounded foot out of the way so it wouldn't interupt her fun and she held onto his, lost in the moment.

He let the kiss continue until he felt his own hand creeping up her shirt. He pulled away quickly and broke the kiss, sitting up quickly and sat there, looking down at her with hungry eyes. "I have to stop, I can't do this quite yet." He didn't want to hurt her, and he didn't want to let her hope get any higher then it already was. He wanted to stay, his heart wanted him to stay, but he didn't know how long he could be in the same house, being a trained animal. He loved being free.

She sat up. she could see it in his eyes, he didn't want to be here, not all of him, and she finally understood what it meant to love someone. "You don't have to stay.... just try to visit...." she said quietl and stood up. It hurt, alot, but she'd rather hurt than keep him trapped. He wasn't meant to be a caged bird. He just wasn't, and she couldn't force that on him. She made her way upstairs, so he wouldn't have to face anymore tears. She knew that was his weakness now, and she didn't want to toy with it.

He got up quickly and followed her, pulling her to him with her back to his chest, wrapping his arms around her waist and put his head on her shoulder. "Just understand that there will be days that I'll be outside, a few days to hunt and be the killing creature that I am. If you can live with that I will live with you, be with you." He smelt the tears, but this is what he wanted as well, as long as he had days to camp out and be the evil beast he was.

She grasped his hands in hers. "you can be anything you want... " she said lifting one of his palms to her cheek. "But I..." she trailed off not sure if he was ready to hear it yet... but she loved him.

He could smell the love on her skin and it made him crumble, but she had to be looser around him first. "You get used to playing with your magic more then you do, and I'll say the three words we both want to say." He said softly as he kissed her shoulder and stroked her cheek.

She turned in his hold and held onto him arms around his neck. "just do me a favor... warn me befor you go hunting... I think I'm likely to have a heart attack if you don't..." Eliza felt somewhat whole, somebody wanted her around, as her, not as some shell of the person she wanted to be... and that meant everything to her.

"I believe I can do that." He smiled and leaned down, kissing her lips deeply and turning them, pressing her against the wall with his hands on her hips.

She melted and used the wall as her support. before she knew it, the tips of her hair were turning white and it was seeping up toward her roots.
