Sokras looked around slowly, as if everything was moving too fast for him. And it was. It was like watching a DVD in fast forward. So when they got to the inn, it took a while for Sokras' mind to catch up. When it did, he turned and looked at Austin. "... ...us...in..."

Sokras didn't have the energy to return it. His eyes only dulled slightly and then focused to show he felt it. "... ...Au...stin." He raised a shaky hand to Austin's cheek. "...l...ook..." He then shared his vision with Austin's mind, but slowly so that Austin wouldn't wouldn't be overwhelmed as he was.

Sokras woke up with a start as his energy came back. Looking around, he found it a few minutes before dawn.

Sokras turned towards Austin. "...Morning." He gave him a morning kiss. "My energy came rushing back all of a sudden."

Sokras got up and looked out the window. Time had resumed for the people, but that was it. It hadn't advanced to modern times. "A city...trapped by time..." I had to power to start it up, but it hasn't been restored. Does that mean, I lack training?

Sokras looked over his shoulder at Austin. "Really?" Then Sokras thought about it. "I guess, it'd be nice to move again, even though their times has long since past." He leaned back against Austin.
