Kir stared blankly at Lily for a few minutes without speaking or even moving. Then his eyes shifted down and away. A small smile crept onto his face since he was starting to wake up, but he still seemed troubled.
"...Weapon efficiency decreased by twenty percent with biological hard drive present...permission to remove...?" He asked again, only this time his voice was starting to become more fluid and natural. He looked into her eyes once more.

Mana moved to help Lydia worried. He looked at her wanting to know what happened and if she had been hurt. Mana made to pick up Lydia so he could set her on the couch. "Lydia what happened?"

"...Backup shutting down..." Kir said and closed his eyes. His normal self wasn't able to stop from falling forward onto Lily.

Lydia pulled away from Mana when he touched her, only it was Neal in control. "Don't worry," he told Mana. "She's fine." Even those who didn't know her would be able to see the change in personality and body language.
Lily hugged him against her again when he fell forward. "Come on, Kir, Kieran," she begged them, rocking back and forth with him.

Kir raised his arms and placed them on Lily's back in a hug, "I'm sorry..." He said.
Core stared for a few seconds, "Um...This one is...um...KIERAN's brother...um...N-Neal, right?" He guessed.

"Yeah," Neal replied to Core, a little flatly.

Kir held Lily tightly for as long as it took, "...I'm so horrible..." He said, "...Why am I so messed up Lily...?"
"I've only done blood work on you, well, Lydia," Core said, "I know this means nothing now, and won't fix anything, but I want to apologize to you for everything you two have gone through," He said.

"If you weren't here I would have died ages ago. Please don't tell me you're not doing anything," Kir said, "I offended that Aislin woman. I really don't understand. I've been looked down on all my life, how am I supposed to know the difference between respect and pity?" Kir hugged Lily a little tighter, "Why can't I speak to people...?"

Neal shook his head. It wasn't just Core she was going to attack. He was just glad he had managed to grab control before they activated, otherwise she wouldn't have stopped for quite some time.
