Kai sighed as Hulinn used his own name, stroking Saiya's cheek to offer some support. "We're heading towards the Air Temple in the Southern Mountains. They won't be able to pick up our presence there before I have a chance to block them." he stated, trying to keep his volume to a minimum to keep from furthering Saiya's headache while still being able to be heard over the roar of the wind.

A battle cry escaped Cral's beak as he tucked in his arms to dive bomb the catapults with the group. In perfect unison the fell, the air was their territory and they had chosen to invade it. Opening his arms at the last minute as he dropped in front of a loaded catapult, he sliced the cord as he rose again. Collapsing the ball of fire crushed the catapult and rolled, setting the ones that had been operating it on fire.

"Not much." Kai answered quietly, leaving the battle behind them quickly. He brushed back her hair as he leaned down to his the top of her head softly. "I promise."

Cackling as they rose victoriously through the smoke, Cral rolled happy with the battle. Heading back to the group the warriors weaved in and out of the eagles formation easily as they enjoyed their triumph.

Circling to land as they reached the peaks of the Southern Mountains, Kai was glad to see the temple. Sprawled out in the snow laid what look like an Eden in all of that white. "See, I told you." Kai muttered, bracing as they banked to land.

Landing on the ground as the others touched down, Cral didn't notice that he'd happened to land next to the eagle that Hulinn was on. That was something he'd regret in a little bit...

Cral had automatically shifted his legs as he'd felt a weight smash into his back, which explained why they both weren't on the ground right now. He was however know to happy to have the touchy feely one on him again. "Cral, escort our guests to their quarters." the commander barked as he headed for the conference room.

Kai slide off of the eagles back, making sure to take most of the impact for Saiya as he landed. It wouldn't be long now before he could help her. Cradling her a bit more he glanced up to notice poor Cral falling victim to an all to familiar situation.

His feathers ruffled before settling down slowly as he turned to face the others. "This way please." Cral stated, trying to retain a civil voice as he tried to ignore the one on his back. He'd have to remember to be put on scouting duties till the guests left, maybe it would help him avoid the touchy one.

Trying to hold back a grin as he saw the glint in Hulinn's eyes as she tormented poor Cral, Kai followed the man into a nearby building and down a long hallway. The whole temple had a very oriental feel to it as they passed by room filled with scrolls and people training.

After several twists and turns, Cral finally stopped in the middle of a short hallway just off the gardens. "These will be your rooms." he said, bowing to them as best he could with the touchy one attached to him. "Please let me know if there is anything you desire." Cral added, a bit hesitant at saying it in front of Hulinn. But if he didn't he'd have hell to pay from the commander, and frankly he could handle the touchy one more then six weeks on gruel duty.

Kai chuckled softly as he kissed Saiya's head. "I'll explain everything once we deal with that headache of yours." he answered, opening one of the bedroom doors. Making his way over to the bed he laid her down with a soft smile as he straightened up.

Cral couldn't help the few feathers on his neck that ruffled as the touchy one did exactly as he'd feared she would. Taking a deep breath as he focused on the part where he didn't want gruel duty, he stood his ground as his feathers smoothed out.

"Cral." Kai called, saving the poor man from anymore of Hulinn's games. "Could you please run an fetch crystals, a bowl of spring water, and some lavender?" he asked as he popped his head out the door.

"Right away." Cral stated, bowing toward Kai as he backed down the hall away from Hulinn. He was thankful for the excuse to leave for a little bit, even if it did mean he had to come back.

"No she won't." he stated through soft laughter. "Now just rest awhile. I'll have this headache gone in a jiffy." Kai said, placing his hands on either side of her head.
