Swear this one you'll save Better lock it, in your pocket Taking this one to the grave" [ Lol, I knowww. When I saw the picture, I just though 'Adam'. And thank you so much. <3 I like experimenting with my posts, and on good days I can type for hours. Btw, Joseph's post is brilliant. My eyes teared up. <3 <3 ]
L stepped into the cafeteria, barely even squinting from the brightness of the fluorescent lights. Her eyes were puffy and red. Her cheeks looked a little swollen and her nose was red. It looked like she had been crying, hard, and for a long time. It looked that way because she had been. Good thing she had worn waterproof make-up.
She looked around the cafeteria and tried to find all of her friends. Mitsukai and Cory were squished together at one table, sitting across from a little girl. It almost looked like they were holding hands- and Mitsukai ... Mitsukai's face would have broken her heart, if L had had any heart left to break.
The female was nothing left but an empty shell, she looked completely worn out and pitiful. Not to mention the miserable expression on her face. L's eyes Traveled to Cory and she managed to catch his eye -not literally of course- and looked away quickly in hopes he hadn't seen how she looked.
She didn't see Joseph and she was relatively glad about that. Relatively because .. Well she couldn't take the embarrassment. She'd probably start to cry and freak out in front of him. But at the same time she desperately wanted to see him. She knew how he felt about today ... And .... And she loved him.
She heard a sudden outburst, not understanding the words but catching the voice enough to recognize who's it was. Nikky. She was surrounded by her parents, and she looked happy. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair! She wanted Nikky to be happy, even if they were competing over the attention of the same friend. But it wasn't Fair. Wasn't fair that the girl could be so happy. That she could be the one to get Joseph- because even if he hadn't said it to her face, even if he wasn't fully aware of what was tearing his friends apart, he had made his decision. And it wasn't her. It was never her. Here, was a beautiful girl .. A beautiful girl with powers and a loving family that came to see her on parent's day. Parents that, while they may privately be dysfunctional, came to love and support her. Parents that cared. And a boyfriend that cared.
L's face felt like it was burning and she reached up a hand to press against her cheek, discovering at once that not only did she have a fever form all the stress, but tears were falling down her face. She turned around to exit the cafeteria and saw Joseph, standing there in all his glory, with his mother. She didn't see him enough to see how upset he was, couldn't see how much he wanted to run, all she could see .. Was Joseph. And then her eyes puddled over in one quick blur.
She turned around and caught another familiar face, one she so desperately needed to see. "Adam!" She ran over to him, slamming into him at full speed. Her ear crushed against his chest and immediately she felt his strong arms around her, holding her up. Something was wrong with her. She was normally such a tough person- she brushed away feelings and strode on with her life, knocking down anyone in her way. But now .. Now it was all screwed up. She couldn't even walk in a room without crying. "Adam I just don't' know what to do .." She whispered into his damp shirt, but was interrupted by his soothing voice. "It's okay Riah. Go to the bathroom and wash your face ... Don't show him your weakness. Don't show it to anyone. We'll get through today. You'll get through it. You always do." She felt A soft kiss whisper against the top of her head, and she gave a brisk nod.
L slipped away into the bathroom and leaned over the sink, trying to stop the shaking. After washing her face with the cool water and laying a towel against her burning forehead she felt -and looked- better. She dried her face, careful not to smudge any of her make-up as she did so.
It was time to face her parents. But she wouldn't be alone- she had her brother. And she had her powers, and the safety of the school. Her parent's couldn't hurt her no matter what they said or did. She was untouchable.
With one last shaky breath L swung open the door and strutted back out into the cafeteria. She was Riah Listing. Nothing would bring her down. She would be a Genius Legend. She didn't need her parents- they didn't do anything for her except shove needles and wires under her skin. She adjusted the brim of her hat before she heard those voices.
"Miss Listing. Not even a greeting?" The sharp tone of her mother's voice grated against her ears. But she stood her ground. Turning on her heel she plastered on a smile. "Hello Mother. I didn't see you standing there."
"I'm sure you didn't. Where is your brother?"
"If I show you then I know you Won't tell what I said Cause two can keep a secret If one of them is dead"

"To dream anything that you want to dream, that's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will." ---------------------------- |Adam|Sire|Listing| Adam busied himself with food, his blue eyes scanning the room as he did so. No sign of parents, not his anyway. He shifted the few quarters in his hand as his fingers mashed the button for a coca-cola. nothing like a soda to pep you up for the day to come. Wait why wasn't anything coming out? He mashed the button again, more forceful this time. A clink on the linoleum floor reminded him that he still held the change. He shook his head to clear it of all thoughts. "Man, I need this soda more than I thought." HE Bent over and retrieved the wandering quarter before sliding each metal sliver into the coin slot. When the machine read $1.00 his finger tapped the button. A few engines churned, before a louder clunk! ran out, his soda falling into the little slot. "Thank you." He murmured to the machine before claiming his prize.
The seal snapped in two as he thirstily ripped off the cap, lifting the lip of the bottle to his mouth. After a few seconds of chugging the caffeinated beverage he pulled it away to breathe with a satisfied, "Ah."
His eyes wandered the cafeteria once more and he found his blushing bride. Well, not his bride. Just a figure of speech. Ahem .. anyway, Daina was blushing, and he found her. He only saw her face mushed between the hug-fest that her parents Were apparently enthusiastic about. With a grin he mouthed 'how cute' before giving a small wave and turning away. He didn't want to intrude upon a happy reunion.
"Adam!" Suddenly a soft head crushed into his chest, forcing him to cough form the sudden lack of air. He could feel his shirt starting to soak from whatever had upset his older sister so much, and his arms wrapped tight around her, rubbing her back to stop her tears. "Adam I just don't' know what to do .." He smiled and leaned his head down so he could whisper to her. "It's okay Riah. Go to the bathroom and wash your face ... Don't show him your weakness. Don't show it to anyone. We'll get through today. You'll get through it. You always do."
She nodded and wandered off to the bathroom as he tried to dry off his shirt. 'Man, and this was brand new.'
He hovered around the bathrooms, Waiting for her return, when he heard the voice just as soon as L did.
"Miss Listing. Not even a greeting?" He cringed from the voice, even through it wasn't directed at him.
"Hello Mother. I didn't see you standing there." Was his sister's meek reply.
"I'm sure you didn't. Where is your brother?"
"Right here." Adam called out as he turned around and walked up as close as he could bear. "Not going deaf already, are we mum?"
"Charming as always boy. Watch your tongue when you speak. Or have you already gotten it blown off?"
"It's not boy, it's Adam you cowardly old man! My power is teleportation, sorry to disappoint any hopes but it's impossible to blow any part of my body off."
"Hush child, arguments are unnecessary. We came to accept your apology for your rash behavior during our last meeting. Not to mention, we came to see what it is we're paying for you to attend. Don't want you two to just be lallygagging around some boarding house when you could be receiving a real education. Speaking of which, any of you happen to finally receive a significant other? Adam, any girlfriends? Riah, any boy see past your abrasive exterior and find something to love?"
Adam had to grasp his sister with both arms to keep her from exploding as she lunged at her mother. ----------------------------

Mitsukai (Angel) Kanji (( So, I’m working on improvements on the roleplays design and a ooc chat. I’m also going to have a banner contest, 500 gold for the winner. Maybe a ooc will have a less cluttered and more active roleplay. Ima put the ooc post in the main forum, hoping we will get some fresh blood in the roleplay.
And thanks darling(: Hopefully I’ll manage to write something better than that in the next 2 weeks. I’m creating my portfolio for auditions at a school of the arts. High school is next school year, yay. I hope that I will just get in a good one.
&&, i thought that L's and Adam's faimly got along? Or was that grandparents, or what? I'm confussed.))
“Let’s see what you have here.” Hana mused. Mitsukai already knew she was going to pick some outrageous clothing. Something that Mitsukai would hate it. She’d find it, she would. If not, she would open that bag sitting on her bed. The bag full of clothes she was giving Mitsukai. Who knows what wonderful surprises were hidden in there!
“Oh my God, you have leather boots?” Hana was petting the knee-high boots as if it was a pet. They were not real leather of course. Mitsukai hated leather. Although there was a question about that jacket sitting on her computer chair. A jacket she could not bare to part. Even if it killed a thousand innocent animals, it still was his. She was going to give it back, when she found him. Well that was if she found him. “That jacket is amazing.” Hana gasped. “Ohh, it was a boy’s! It still smells like body mist, the really yummy stuff guys wear.” Mitsukai noticed how her sister bit her lip at some thought.
Oh, so her sister was a slut now?
“Put this on.” Her sister demanded handing Mitsukai the leather boots, a white tee, and the jacket. His jacket! She had no right handling it like that. “keep the jeans on.”
Mitsukai walked to the bathroom and slipped on the knee-high boots. She then took off her hoodie and shirt, and then slipped into the shirt she was handed. She looked at the jacket, fingering the leather. Her mind was kind of far away though, the night he gave it to her. ‘Where’d you go darling?’ Mitsukai thought as she pulled on the jacket.
‘Keep it, it looks better on you anyways’
Mitsukai shivered as the memory flashed through her mind. She then stepped out of the room, and looked at her sister. “better?” She asked softly. “Oh yea, you actually look good. For once.” The last comment made Mitsukai shrink. They walked out of Mitsuaki’s room and headed towards the cafeteria.
“Angel!” Mitsukai jumped. Was Thorne here, was he here! Mitsukai searched frantically for the voice and saw Leslie. Mitsukai cringed. How would she be so naïve? Nevertheless she was, dumb Asian. Ha, no wonder she was such a disappointment to her mother. Mitsukai smiled though when Leslie ran to her. She even outstretched her arms and picked up the little girl. Even twirling her for a dramatic effect. She was playing the part. She was a happy carefree teenager. Not a depressed teen. Not a killing teen. She was playing the part of Mitsukai, not this scarred individual she had become. God, why couldn’t that pesky opposite added enough poison in her system? Oh yea, the poison that ******** up Diana’s power. So she was a power ******** too? Oh glee! Where was Mitsukai? Oh how she desperately wanted to be Mitsukai.
The next matters of moments were a flash, but in the end, she ended up being placed next to Cory and their fingers in-twinned. She could no longer play the part as the electric current flooded through her body. At least she was wearing her gloves. Cory was tracing the lines in her hand, well, the lines in her glove. Something he did not mind. He was still holding her. Why was this little girl rambling about loving each other? Cory and Mitsukai didn’t love each other. They ripped each other apart. They attacked each other souls. Love was a battlefield. Having powers was a curse. ‘Stupid world, what have you done to me?’

[ Good idea for the ooc. I'd love to make a banner, but I lost the site I used to use, and haven't been able to find another. I'm afraid to Google, I always get a virus when I do.
L and Adam don't get along with their parents- It's mainly Adam who has the problem with them, but L ended up getting involved. and yes, it's the grandparents they get along with. ]

An alarm clocked blared noise. It was shut up followed with a groan. Parents Day. He didn't want anything to do with today. Mitsukai wasn't herself. He didn't get to talk to her much. She seemed so distant. He wanted to talk to her badly now. On the other hand he just wanted to stay in his room and away from all the students seeing their families. He didn't want to do this at all. He could nearly cry at the thought of his parents. He sat on his bed, his head low. He can't go out there. 'I have to go' he thought. He groaned at the conflict.
He finally got up and went to the bathroom. He took a shower. He got dressed. He sat looking out his window. He sighed.
Vincent got up and excitedly got showered and dressed. He wanted to see his parents again. He would leave out the part of his stay about him being captured. He didn't want to worry them about the past. He walked out the door and quickly went to the cafeteria. He looked around quickly for his parents. "Vincent" he heard his mom call to him. he ran to her and hugged her. His dad hugged him too. "I am glad to see you guys." He said to them. They began talking about random news and his classes. His parents asked if he was eating enough. The normal parent questions.

A composer but never composed Singing the symphonies of the overdosed A composer but never composed 'Singing': "I only want what I can't have" "I only want what I can't have Daina Nova AndersonDaina was still being squished, despite subtle protests, when Adam saw her. She managed to decipher what he had mouthed, and turned even redder. "Mom, Dad, you absolutely need to let go. Now." She told them, and reluctantly, they released her. They started babbling about how at Christmas, she should go with them to a childrens hospital, and some retirement homes, and help them out. Their voices meshed in her head, a mess of words and phrases that she ignored. They were still terribly close, and she began to feel suffocated. Backing up, she chose her words carefully. "It's wonderful that you want me to do all of that, but I can't...." She said, getting puzzled looks and she knew that more than that was coming. "It's not just because I don't want to, it's because, it might kill me...." She explained, then went into detail on how she found out that healing others drained her of her life. They looked horrified for a moment, then began beaming, saying how proud of her they were, giving up some of her own life to save another. That's when she had enough. Shrieking would do no good, so, she simply stormed off, trying to get as little attention as possible, ignoring her parents words, calling her back. She almost didn't realize where she was going, that was, until she almost ran into Adam, L, and their.. Parents? She managed to catch a snippet of their talking as she passed by. What parent would talk to their child that way? Why would they be so cruel. Daina couldn't see why they would taunt them like that. But then, it seemed as if the reason was clear. They were bullies. Putting their children down to make themselves feel better, like they couldn't believe they had brought an 'abnormal' child into the world, and the only way to make sure things didn't get turned around on them, was to make the kids feel like crap. She turned around almost instantly, heading back to Adam's side. She saw her parents, and it seemed as if they had already forgotten her outburst, and were talking to some of the teachers. As she neared the Listings, she donned a smile. "Oh, excuse me..." She said, politely, reaching and taking Adam's hand, then resting her head on his shoulder . "My name is Daina, Daina Anderson." She said, and offered them her other hand to shake. She hoped she wasn't being to bold, but she couldn't stand just watching them being talked to like that, hopefully with a stranger, they wouldn't be so harsh. Hopefully, she could calm them all down .

"To dream anything that you want to dream, that's the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will." ---------------------------- |Adam|Sire|Listing| Adam knew his Mother wasn't aware of what her words had done to her daughter- she wasn't psychic. She couldn't have known about all of the troubles L had had lately, more specifically, the troubles with a boy. The coincidence was pure luck. But Adam began to wonder, if his mother had known, would she still have said it?
To be honest .. Yes. He believed she would.
She had never been happy about their powers. First, there Was some sort of disease With L. Turrets. Schizophrenia. Any kind of disorder the psychologists could list. His parents were okay with that. His mother would stay up with the young female, rocking her to sleep and acting like a true mother, even crying when she heard a new disorder. A disorder was fine- it wasn't embarrassing. They'd get pity. Special benefits. Whether that was his Mother's thought process, Adam would never know. But he knew she was aware of it.
A diseased daughter was fine. Shove a few needles there, place some wires there. Adam began to rage out. Their parents had freaked, and the tense relationship had begun. His father was always getting onto him because he would snap in the middle of public. Mother tried to say he was Bipolar, any kind of excuse, but the psychologists believed otherwise. That's when the leash tightened. The children were an embarrassment- they must be controlled. They dressed to their parents standards. They spoke only when they were allowed to. They ate what their parents handed to them, or ordered for them. Adam would suddenly yell at his father, and as stubborn as his family was, his father wouldn't back down from the challenge.
Only once did it ever get psychical.
That was when they found out. Powers. Supernatural. Evil. Otherworldly. Created by Satan. No parents are necessarily proud to have children who are different from society, especially parents who were in the spotlight often. Not that his family was famous- but they were seen frequently, and word would spread fast. The only answer, it seemed, was to remove the problem. So L was shipped off to Grandma's and Grandpa's. Out-of-control Adam on the other hand, remained alone, where his emotions only spiraled down. Depression. He was silent all the time. More fights. He got angrier quicker. Then one day, in a flash, he was gone. Turned out he had a power too. When he realized it, his emotions calmed. But his parent's Didn't. They had separated the two, they didn't understand how L had still infected her brother. Infected. Like a disease.
Adam pulled L back to standing, shoving her to stand on her own and to behave. It was useless to argue with anyone. Mother had an eyebrow raised, and her mouth was parted to question the sudden behavior. But, she was interrupted, by something that made Adam incredibly happy, yet also fearful.
A Familiar voice rang out behind him before he felt the soft fingers grab his, and Adam turned to see Daina smiling. He grasped her hand and turned back to his parents as she laid her head on his shoulder. She was definitely very brave to have interrupted the tense scene. No wonder he liked her so much. "I owe you." He whispered as she extended her hand to his parents, introducing herself.
"Oh .. Well hello Daina. I'm Mrs. Listing, and this is my husband."
His mother took Daina's hand in hers and shook it, then his father did the same. At least Mother looked pleased. Father was just completely baffled.
"You're Friends with our children?" His eyes lingered on their linked hands, as if asking exactly what their relationship was. It stung Adam that it seemed so surprising.
"Well we don't want to be rude Frank, we should leave the children to themselves. Talking to a few of the administrators will help inform us of this school's function, and what exactly is being taught. I expect to be given a tour soon, by both you and your sister Adam. Nice meeting you Daina .."
With that his parents turned around and began scouting for an administrator. Daina's presence had definitely helped, though he had saw A strange look in his Mother's eyes. apparently, a monster with a monster only made a bigger monster, and Daina obviously had powers since she attended this school. Adam turned his head to smile at her, breathing a sigh of relief. "Thank you. I owe you big time." His grin widened At a sudden thought. "Your amazing you know that? Nobody else would be so brave."----------------------------

A composer but never composed Singing the symphonies of the overdosed A composer but never composed 'Singing': "I only want what I can't have" "I only want what I can't have Daina Nova AndersonDaina had smiled at the Listings. Sure, she might not have been happy with their treatment of Adam and L, but she wasn't going to let it show that she had heard anything, so she smiled nonetheless. "It's a pleasure.." She said in response, pleased with herself. She obviously sidetracked them and they were a bit confused. "Oh, yes, I am friends with them..." She stated simply, leaving them to assume the meaning of their linked hands that were eyed curiously. They soon made their leave, some excuse about finding an administrator. After they were out of earshot, she turned her head to look at Adam and smirked. "I'll keep that in mind, I wasn't planning on making you owe me though..." She said. Daina, however, couldn't help but blush at his next statemen, which was more of a compliment. "Oh...Well, I...umm...You could say I'm pretty much fearless, after all, I do heal myself from all injuries..." She offered as an explanation.

/:Archimedes ||Primus> Okay. Okay, yeah, these branches were kind of making Archimedes’s butt go numb. Not to mention it hurt. As much as he wanted to finish Mauradon, he knew his buttcheeks would fall off if he stayed in this tree another second longer. So, reluctantly, he typed in party chat, ‘gtg l8r’ before closing his laptop. They’d find another DPS.
Sarek went into his messenger bag, and Archimedes went onto the ground. He wobbled a bit, disoriented, before righting himself and dusting himself off, even though he wasn’t dirty. The sun was going down, and the school would probably be locking the doors for the night soon. Oh well, he could break the locks and get in later. He still wanted that latte. And that coffee machine. One of which was more obtainable than the other. Oh well. Who needed morals?
His skateboard was back in his room, which he couldn’t be bothered to fetch. Oh well. Walking was okay, too. It took half an hour, but that wasn’t too bad; he’d walked longer before. The baristas at Starbucks were always friendly, so that made him feel a bit better. Human contact. Something he’d distanced himself from since the incident. It seemed the safest thing to do, but it was lonely, almost unbearably so. It would make sense that he’d naturally latch on to a group when one accepted him, and would even make sense that he had a weird, random, gay spark of interest towards one guy. Normal, right? …Okay, maaaaybe that was a bit of a stretch. Maybe he could just pass that whole gay thing off to momentary insanity. Sure, he was a little lonely, but he wasn’t that lonely. Better to just repress that particular urge.
“Grande hazelnut latte, whole milk, extra shot, please,” he droned mechanically, even though the baristas there basically knew his order by heart. He made a little small talk as they fixed his coffee how he liked: Yes, he was doing well. His cold had cleared up. The weather was nice, but would be cooling off soon. Wasn’t that nice? Yes, quite. Here’s your latte, sir, please come again. Well, that would depend on how it tasted, of course. After a little test, he decided yes, he would definitely be coming again.
And now for that coffee machine. But what kind of machine to get? A large pot, a small, 4-cup pot? Did he want to account for guests or not? Ooh, they had those new fangled coffee pots that worked like a dispenser, where it kept the coffee in the machine and the little lever dispensed coffee into your cup instead of having to work with a pot. Those were really cool, too. …That sounded like a good choice. And, since these were in a department store, he supposed he could restock on some munchies. All in all, this was a short grocery trip to the local Walmart. Cheap was good, and Walmart was good at cheap. After all, Archimedes didn’t have his large salary like he used to, though he had plenty in savings to last him through high school. Maybe he’d get a part-time job or something sometime.
In the end, he ended up buying that coffee dispenser, two pounds of Arabica coffee, a box of Splenda packets, one carton of powdered creamer, a pack of four coffee cups, a bunch of bags of chips and some coffee filters. This should be sufficient. Now getting back to school. Ugh. This walk didn’t seem so long before when he was full of energy and bright eyes and bushy tailed. Oh well. Better start walking. To make it less painful, he cracked open a bag of chips and crunched as he traveled back, looking forward to his warm bed and another day of maybe-socialness. It was a couple hours later now, so bed time was reasonable.
~*~*~*~*
((yaytimeskip))
First, Archimedes woke in the morning smiling. Why? Well, he had programmed his new coffee machine to start brewing fifteen minutes before his alarm went off, so he awoke to the wonderful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Today felt like a good day. As he got dressed, listened to music, brushed his hair, drank two cups of coffee, Archimedes had a smile on his face. La di da, yay for days that weren’t made of suck. He put his books in his bag, finished up his cup, and then checked his email.
He really, really shouldn’t have done that.
“Parents day is today! Your parents should start gathering up in the cafeteria around 9am. Then, open house starts at 6pm, giving you plenty of times to tour your parents around the school. You should lead your parents to the Auditorium at 6pm. Thank you, students.
Your Head Master, Elaine Nicole “
Parents day. Of course it was. At first, depression hit. Sure, have a special day for something he didn’t have. It wasn’t his fault he didn’t have parents anymore. Well, they were technically still in existence, but sure as hell weren’t talking to him; they didn’t even know they had a son anymore, thanks to those douche bag scientists. And today had started off so good, too. Why did the world like to crap on his good time? No, Archimedes, you can’t have a good day; that would mess up the order of things. So here, have a pleasant morning, and then we’re gonna take a dump all over you. How d’ya like that?
Then it made him angry. What a careless thing for the school to do, he thought. This day for parents and grandparents, siblings maybe, all these things that some people didn’t have. Did it ever occur to this Head Mistress that, to those students who didn’t have that luxury, it would be considered an insult? A kick in the pants? A proverbial pile of crap? “Son of a b***h!” he hollered, causing his alarm clock to explode. Again. He kicked his nightstand over, effectively dispersing the bits of broken alarm clock all over the floor. Immediately he tried to reign himself in, remembering his new coffee machine that he didn’t want to break. Deep breaths, deeeeeeep breaths… okay. It was okay now. Well, no, it wasn’t okay — it sucked a** — but his temper was mellowed a little. Crap, why did he feel like crying? Boys didn’t cry. Crying was for girls and gays. Dudes with badass powers didn’t cry like babies.
This, however, didn’t stop the wake of destruction that followed him as he left his dorm. He had a beanie pulled over his head, baggy semi-alternative clothes on, and a bad attitude, and every electronic he glared at died, malfunctioned, or burst, depending on its size. As he strode down the hallway to the cafeteria, eyes blazing and fists clenched (and covered in his special gloves), he looked forward to the satisfaction he’d get from destroying anything he could get his hands on. Sure, everyone else here had their parents around to support them, or at least just be here; he didn’t have that, so neither should anyone else. It seemed fair enough to him.
His eyes took in everyone in the cafeteria with their parents and siblings, being squished between breasts and some of the students just annoyed out of their minds. Wasn’t that cute? Domestic disputes. Whatever. Archimedes ignored everyone and scowled through the breakfast line, getting his mediocre eggs and biscuits. After using his student card, he proceeded to use his powers to make the lunch money machines shoot sparks and smoke a bit. The lunch ladies jumped and squealed for a minute, trying to douse it out and figure out what went wrong, and Archimedes just smirked vengefully as he took his spot on the floor against a far wall, wondering what else he could do to ruin this day for everyone.

Kyuubi walked out of his room sighing. He avoided the cafeteria. He went to the pool area and saw no one was around. He relaxed in a chair. He swirled the water into a whirlpool. He kept trying to not think about his parents. The water flew into the air, his mind flashed to his parents right before he started going to this school. They told him to be good. He knew he would. His father was proud of him. His father was called to some King business. This disappointed Kyuubi but his mother hugged him for a while before he left. The water crashed into the pool not splashing a single drop out of it. He stared at the sky. This was going to be an awful day.

It doesn't matter what you see. I know i could never be Someone that looks like you. It doesn't matter what you say I know i could never face someone that could sound like you. Cadence Saline IvieCadence had shown Devin the creek and some of the surrounding area. They ended up talking a little, but after short while, headed back to the school for dinner. That was the last she saw of him for that evening. She had decided to turn in early. When she got back to her room, she picked out a book from her collection. It ended up being the last Harry Potter book. It turned out that every time the characters had to use the invisibility cloak, she unconsciously turned herself invisible. She finally noticed it and laughed a little to herself. After a couple hours of reading, she placed the book and her glasses on the night stand and went to sleep, thinking. ---- A few days later, her alarm clock woke her up. She rubbed her eyes, then stretched, aware of a slight stinging sensation on her torso. Cadence knew why it stung. She got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, turning slightly and pulling up her shirt, checking on her two day old tattoo. It had been a drastic choice, but she felt it was the right thing to do. After all, she had wanted one for awhile, and had the money for one, so why shouldn’t she? She was also old enough. It was healing nicely. Her mind then drifted to when she got it. She had went off campus after school and headed into town. After looking through the portfolios, and creating a mental image of what she wanted, she finally decided on a design, a design that was now permanently engraved on her skin. Of course it hurt, but it was physical pain, pain that would go away. She dropped her shirt, turning to the tub and running the water for a shower. She headed to her room to grab something basic to wear before she changed into her school clothes and to check her e-mail. She opened the most recent one from the school, and her face stiffened. ‘Ugh, why would I want to see them?’ She asked herself mentally. Her parents were never fond of her. Now she had seven year old twins, a boy and a girl, as younger siblings, and they didn’t really know her. After all, they were only three when she started Genius Academy, that , and her parents kept her away from them. They were normal, she was the freak. Basically they made it to where she was isolated from her family. Tearing herself from unpleasant thoughts, she stalked off to the bathroom and took a long relaxing shower. She wasn’t in a rush to get down to the cafeteria. For all she knew they hadn’t showed. Finally she emerged, dressed in some shorts and a tank top while she searched for something to wear. Within twenty minutes, she was clothed nicely. Today she was ditching the glasses for contacts. She headed back to the bathroom to fix up her hair. She curled it to where it would frame her face, then it was time for make-up. Finally she was done. She headed out of her room, phone in her pocket, and a wicked smile on her face. Just as she thought, since her parents did come, they were basically cowering in a corner, her younger siblings no where in sight. She slunk over to them, invisibly. Once she was directly in front of their faces, she smirked and became visible again. She managed to keep from laughing at their expressions. "I'm done with you...." She said simply, yet harshly to them before turning around and walking away, leaving them petrified. . ..

Is there somebody who still believes in love? I know you’re out there There’s got to be somebody I search around the world But I can’t seem to find Somebody to love Nikky Celeste DarlingNikky was definitely surprised to hear that bit of news. Her parents didn’t think that they would have another child after her. However, her shock was washed away as Joe caught her eye. He had been heading for the doors until his mother stopped him. He seemed like he was in pain, and Nikky didn’t doubt that, especially after what had happened to his sister. She felt like crying. Here she was, about to get a younger sibling, while Joe had lost the only one he had. And on top of it all, he blamed himself for it. Nikky gave her mom a kiss on the forehead. “I’ll be back later.” She trailed off before walking off in Joe’s direction. She didn’t know if he wanted to be pulled away from his mom or not, so, as she passed by, she barely brushed her hand against his and glanced back at him. She didn’t linger and kept walking. She sat down a little ways away, out of earshot, but not out of sight. She was biting her lip, and felt nervous. She wanted to be there for him, even if it was as just a friend. .

Joseph Douglas Jones Your superkalafragelisticexpialadociously cute Sweeter than a 12 pack of juicy fruit Surreal, but I know this isn't a dream We go good together just like coffee and cream Joe couldn't breathe.
It hurt his lungs, and he was getting lightheaded. What would you be doing if someone who you destroyed was right in front of you, touching you? “Stay away from me. I'm not good.” Joesph tried to be stern, to be straight to the point. Nevertheless, his voice broke. On top of that, his Mother looked up at him if she was in pure agony. 'I cant hurt her anymore.' Joesph thought. Oh God, his chest hurt.
“Stay away from me.” Joesph repeated. Mitsukai's knowing glance in his direction pointed out that the ground was shaking. She didn't offer to help, she didn't even get up. How could she help when there was nothing left. “I have to go.” Joe exclaimed and ran out after Nikky.
He stopped running when he got to the sports field. There he fell straight on his knees and cried. His whole body shock as every ounce of energy was drained from him.
“Joey! Come here, let me show you something!” The little strawberry blonde girl called. She was 7 years old. According to Joe, she was the biggest pain. He loved her though. Her and their insane mother. Joe didn't have a father though. He left when Ellie was born. He missed out though. Ellie was the most vibrant girl around, Joe's sweet heart.
“What do you want?” Joesph called, walking into his bedroom. On the floor his favroite guitar was on the floor crushed. “ELLIE, WHY DID YOU DO THAT!” Joesph ragged, his hands shaking like they did when he became upset.
“It was an accident, I swear. Don't hurt me!” Ellie started crying, like she always did when Joe got mad. They knew how he reacted, it was dangerous. “I have band practice in one hour and you crush my guitar, what is wrong with you!” Joesph screamed, his face turning red. Ellie was slowly creeping back towards his closet. “Elizabeth Marie Jones, don't you ever think!”
The room was slowly filling up with water.
“I..I'm...I'm sorry!” Ellie cried, feeling helpless. “Ohh, I'll make you sorry!” Joesph screamed and the room started filling with water at rapid speeds. Soon they both were emerged in water. It didn't bother Joesph, he could breathe underwater. On the other hand, his sister couldn't swim. Soon she started twisting around, begging for air. Every time she opened her mouth to cry for help water went shooting down her lungs. When that happened she went in a fit of coughing, though that just caused more water to come inside her. She struggled as the panic set in. Just as Joesph realized what he had done, she stopped breathing. The water quickly flooded out and Joesph ran to his sister.
“Ellie!” he cried, wiping the hair from her face. “I'm sorry.” Joe cried and kissed her forehead. He then went into a fit of tears.
He killed his sister over a broken guitar! A frigging broken guitar! The look of fear and disappointment in his mothers eyes was almost as bad as that moment. Almost. Nevertheless it was enough to send him packing, Life sucked when you were a murder, the guilt never left.
Joesph knew that Nikky was there by now. Maybe even his Mother. He looked weak and dump. This was the event to send kids crying. Sure, they kept this event for the money they made out of it. But it still hurt.

'What happened to my son?' Anne thought, watching the boy cry his heart out on the pavement. She couldn't touch him, it'd make it worse. She wanted him back. She wanted to kiss him and hug him. He didn't seem angry anymore. She had spent years looking for him. She wanted him to open his arms and hold her. That stupid rich wretch hid him from her. She lost a daughter, she didn't want to lose her son too! Sometimes life could be so cruel! It was a good thing she found him. Well, that is if he allowed her back into his life. She loved her son and forgave him a long time ago. If only he could see that.

Meredith Louise Johansson Pretty girl pretty girl Why would you say you hate how you look And you think you want to change You’re so pretty girl pretty girl I’d never lie to you
It was Parents Day. Most kids at this school have been dreading this day, but not Meredith. Well, until last night. Last night wasn't cool. Last night her parents and grandparents called and explained to her that they could not go to visit them.
That sucked.
“Oh yea Mom, it's okay. I'll just be down there for the holidays.” Meredith explained into her cell phone, for the 50th or so time in the past 48 hours. “Yea, I promise. You don't have to make it up for me.” Meredith's voice was strained. This conversation was bordering annoying. “Bye mom.” Meredith finished, adding on a I love you to make things simpler and hung up. Parents sometimes could be annoying, at least Meredith's weren't complete jerks. Why did kids with powers have such mean parents?
Well, time to start the day! Meredith went through her closet and grabbed herself some skin tight skinny jeans. They were sexy denim with a trillion tears. She also grabbed a white tank top and a plain black hoodie. Weather was starting to get cooler, fall was on it's way. Meredith slipped on some black flats and stepped out the door. She ran her hands through her brunet curly hair, glad it wasn't screwy.
Meredith walked towards the cafeteria, scanning for kids with parents. Mitsukai was sitting next to Cory holding hands. It would make since for her to run back to that jerk in her worse state. She had been so pathetic lately. Meredith had a feeling it had something to do with that kid Thorne, where ever he ran off too. It also had to deal with what ever made her disappear 4 days ago. Rumor has it that she came back all screwed up. Burn marks showing her bones. Things like that had to suck.
She then spotted Diana, Adam, and L. L's parents were trudging off, they looked rich and stuck up. Adam looked relived to see Diana, and L looked like she had been crying. Who knows why she had been doing that. Things had been a little sketchy in her old group. It seemed as if they weren't as tight since Mitsukai's little disappearance, especially L and Diana. Although, girls will be girls. Just ask Meredith.
Meredith looked around and finally spotted another good friend, Joesph. Joesph looked like a boy on the verge of a break down. It seemed as if that woman had something to do with it. Meredith rolled her eyes, this day always caused drama. 'Okay, someone to communicate with...' Meredith thought and saw that gay kid. The dorky one that Meredith thinks that she has something in common with.
“Hey kid.” Meredith exclaimed and plopped down beside him. “You look like you need a break. How about we go to the legend lounge and get some yummy coffee?” Meredith offered. This day was crummy for those without parents. A lot of adults abandoned their kids when they found out. There also were those who lost their parents or those who killed their parents. It was a sucky thing that came with having the ability to blow up all the lights or disappear. Meredith didn't have that pain though. She had nice parents.
They bought her mangas and video games when she was big on that. They bought her $100 bags when she was into that. They always supported her. Meredith knew she was lucky, that she shouldn't take advantage of them. Her background included powers, she was lucky. From the look on this kids face, he wasn't. Therefore, no parents talk. You know, don't talk about the big pink elephant in the middle of the room. The parents were the pink elephants! They'd avoid that topic, oh joy!
((hence, i was talking to Achemides. Ohh, i have a suprise. But ima just tell you i have a suprise and not tell you what it is. muahahaha! It's wonderfull!))
