Kuro's eyes slightly widened then closed as they kissed.His arms found their way around her and held onto her gently.Wow...He thought to himself.Awww...Looks like Casanova found his lover after all...Kira joked.

Seeing the two kissing, Zaira immidiately turned from the room, hands in her pockets. She began to slowly saunter down the hall, thinking. Once again, a romance under any rock I turn over. Zaira thought to herself as she felt another wave of lonliness crash over her. And not even a friend in sight. Zaira just chided herself for feeling so depressed once again, which then made her feel worse. This cycle happened to often, and Zaira needed to sit down, so she did in one of the hallway benches.

Layla pulled herself back after a moment, realizing what she did. She suddenly looked away, her cheeks a bright crimson. "I-I'm sorry!" she stammered, jumping off the bed. She didn't know what to do now, so she only moved on. "W-we should s-start with that.. um... spell, thing," she said, her back still facing him. She guessed that her mind developed over the past week; but, why hadn't she noticed it?

Kuro looked at her quietly."Yeah...But one thing...Remember what I said about hiding your face?"He asked as he put his hands on her shoulders turning her slowly around."So...About the spell..."He said quietly."We need to find a certain area in the forest..."He said quietly looking in the book.

Zaira sat there, holding her head in her hands. She should have gone to the library when she could. She hated all of the romance lovey-dovey students did at her old school, and that hadn't changed. All it did was remind her of her own situation and increase the darkness inside her. She would never hold it against any couple, she just couldn't help feeling the pain inside herself. Taking a deep breath, Zaira reminded herself, Stop pitying yourself. You don't want it from anyone else after all. That got most of the slicing pain out of her heart. She got up and went back down the hall the way she came. She still needed to explore the rest of the campus after all...

Layla nodded, cheeks still burning red as she heard him. "S-sorry," she stammered; she hadn't forgotten, but she couldn't help having turned around. It was natural, really. She watched him sifting through the pages, her head tilted slightly. "In the forest?" she repeated, wondering. "Why in the forest?" she could't help but ask, feeling it was a little odd that they had to preform it there of all places.

Stev slid Rivera onto a medical bed, which was quickly covered in blood. "Is there a doc in the house??? I tried my best to heal but I suck at it. And don't wake her up, or else she'll lecture you for hours on end!" Stev took a seat on the bench and laid back. he puled out his signature "Game-boi" and began playing a really good RPG. Slowly, Stev went back into normal form, as his promise ring effect wore off. "OMG watch out for that snake! It'll kill you the little---" Kuma purred inside his jacket.

Rivera slowly opened her eyes as her body regained enough blood for her to stay conscious. Her skin had been tinted bluish from her lack of oxygen. "agh... why do I have such a headache? And where the hell am I?" She promptly removed herself from the bed only to fall fowards and flat on her face.
"s**t... I'm awake... and my legs aren't..." She pulled herself with her sword, the white snake supporting her. "Man I'm dizzy..."

After hours at a time.....Stev's hair shortened back to original length. Wasn't there a doctor aroud? How long had he been here? Did he forget to save his game? Rivera was still laying there..."How long could it possibly take you to wake up???!!!" Everyone stared at Stev for being so rude to an injured person, half dead. "grrrr........."
Finnaly Rivera woke up " Yo ! You took long enough. I've been here for hours. Oh dont try and stand up...your like pretty much..umm yeah. "

"Yeah, your lucky Marylen gave me that promise ring. it lets me tap into her powers for a little while...I could heal you, but not much...Besides my hair grows really fast when I use it and it takes a while to shorten..........................."
Stev was saying some pretty weird things that made everyone in the Infimary turn a stare....

Rivera nodded to him greatfully. "They say a woman's hair is her life... I wonder if it applies to men... " She said teasingly. "Ack... damn scars..." She rubbed her back, wincing. "One'd think they'd stop hurting after a few centuries of sleeping in a box... " She pulled herself back onto the bed and lay down. "For some reason, I feel like a pile of ashes. I dunno why it's not a pile of grass or a pile of fish... it's a pile of ashes."

Instead of being insulted by Rivera's joke, he accepted it. "It's true, When my hair grows, it's not mine...it's hers. " That set off everyone again. "what's with you people?"
"Sounds like you've died before....I can't ever remember dying before, but somehow I always pop back up. Well...I'll see ya around. I ent' got a dorm, yet but I'm always around here. I think...That's what part of me is saying. Well maybe I'll pay a visit or something. Good luck healing."

"Hey!" Rivera called out and watched him. "Thanks... " He left the scene and she was left alone to contemplate her own thoughts... had she really been dead for that long? Maybe... but what kept her in a state of life? She didn't look like she's been dead, except maybe the lack of enough blood and her pale skin made her ghostly...
A nurse came in with lunch. "So what brought you in here anyway?" Rivera heard her ask and smirked.
"According to the guy who brought me in, it was talking..." She answered. Too tired to eat her food, she turned over and fell asleep.

"Hell if I know..."Kuro said simply as he laced up his boots.He took his long black jacket off a coat rack and put it on over his wings.He stretched and popped the joints of his once broken leg and stretched it out."Man this feels so much better..."He muttered as he took off his glasses putting them back in his jacket pocket.

"Well, of course it feels better!" Layla laughed, "you just had it sitting there in a bed for the past week." She looked around, still wondering why it was in the forest. "So, shall we go, then?" she smiled, her hands grasping each other behind her back. "Who knows what happens there when it's dark..." she trailed off; she didn't want to run into any animals past dark; that'd be a little creepy.
