"You can come by if you want. I'm guessing I have about an hour before I get to leave work so I'm going home right away. I gave you a key anyways, so even if I do fall asleep, you can still come in."

Nathan nodded. "I'll knock first though, so you'll know that I'm there..." he smiled, linking arms with his Demon and continuing to walk. "But if you are asleep, can I jump into bed and cuddle you?"

When they reached the portal by which they would leave, Nathan turned to Mao and held tightly. "Let's make sure we don't lose one another!"

Mao smiled and pulled Nathan close. "I promise I won't let go even if you try and push me away."

Nathan blinked and stared at Mao before nuzzling against his chest. "Silly: I wouldn't push you away..."
He frowned. "Not unless I was going to blow up, or something else."

Mao smiled and then walked through the portal with him. They ended up back in the room they were before. Mao sighed and found a chair to sit down. Using his powers drained his energy quite a bit.

Nathan went to him and sat down on the floor in front of his Demon. "If you want I can carry you...?" he offered, hugging Mao's legs with a smile.

"No, I'm fine. I'm just being lazy." Mao stood up despite his obvious exhaustion. He didn't want Nathan to have to worry about him. He headed towards the door, but fell to his knees all too quickly.

Nathan sighed and gently picked up Mao. "Don't be silly. I'll carry you, or I'll knock you out and then carry you...ok?" he smiled sweetly.

The Angel growled. "Mao, be quiet and let me carry you before I knock you into sleep!" he warned, kissing his lover on the lips passionately. "I just want you to be safe!" he whispered, cradling his Demon to his chest and walking with him towards the exit.
