Apollo gazes at Endymion for a silent moment, as if silently asking if he was ok. He finally picks up Endymion's hand, his own were cool and soft, like the cool water that Endymion had summoned from the earth. He quickly cools away the overwhelming heat in Endymion's fingers, hoping he didn't have a fever. It certainly wasn't uncommon for it to happen. He speaks softly, one hand raising to Endymion's forehead, feeling for fever and then just staying there to comfort the feverish face, "You heat yourself up too fast, rest for a second... Most people associate coldness with hatred, but it is a very wrong analogy. Hatred is passion just as hot as love.... It burns and seethes lke lust and that's why you can use it to call flame.... Ice has to do with no emotion whatsoever. In order to freeze the water, you must let go of every emotion you have and feel absolutely nothing. Numbness...."

"....." Endmyion looked up into Apollo's face. "Do you think....that I can do that too?" his breath was very slightly panting, his deep blue eyes drinking the image of his former lover. Desire burned within him and he wanted Apollo.

Apollo fianlly found those eyes lifted to him and recognized the desire etched there immediately. So that was what Endymion had used. He didn't notice he was holding his breath and gazing down into those cobalt eyes for so long until his lungs began to protest. He lets out his breath in a soft sigh, stroking Endymion's heated cheek with a small sad smile, "Mmmm... Too hot right now.... Take a few minutes... Cool down...." Apollo felt his own hands getting warm as he began to comb them through Endymion's hair. He flushes and looks away, ashamed of wanting Endymion so badly whe nti was obvious that Endymion hadn't made up his mind.

Endmyion blinked and looked down as APollo glanced away, just for a moment he had thought that.....no, this was only to finishe the tasks that Apollo wanted him to do.
The young god pulled away and sat down hanging his head, feeling like he was being chastened for something bad he did. But it was bad wasn't it? He was starting to fall in love with Diana, and this lusting after Apollo, her brother, would be considered bad?
He let out the conflicting emotions with a gasping sigh, hugging himsefl tightly. After a long moment he raised his head. "Ok. I'm ready for the next part."

Apollo's eyes were latched onto Endymion as the young god lifted his head and spoke. They had been latched there the whole time, a mixture of hurt and longing swimming within the sun god. After a moment, he speaks, "No, it's ok... Diana's better at teaching it..." His hand drifts down to the water, freezing it the second he finger touched the surface. He wanted to smash the ice, he wanted to slam his fist in and pull it back, red with frostbite and blood from the shattered ice. But he didn't as his hand rests flat against the ice, already beginning to melt from the warm air.

"Ohh,Ok." Dmyion nodded, understanding. He stood up and crossed his arms, as if feeling cold. "So.....what's else is next Apollo?"
He did his best to block out the hurt in his voice, keeping it nutral and aptly curious. Endmyion could feel the Cold air invading the warmth of the area. the flowers, he senced, where 'going back to sleep' and the green grass had truned dull.

The sun god took a second to rebuild his crumbling composure, but even his attempts to glue himself together were shakey at best. He picks up the hemisphere of ice and tosses it out of the bubble. Emotion induced ice never hesitated to spread it's chill. But something else was chilling the warmth of their Spring. He closes his eyes, whispering softly, "One moment..."
He presses his hands to the ground and finally let emotions surge through him: hurt, lust, need, longing, betrayal... He ends with a short prayer, Forgive me... Don't forsake the life here for my mistakes.... My love for you drives me crazy... His eyes turn to gaze up at Endymion, Bless this safe harbor of warmth. The grass and flowers were starting to perk already, simply from the warmth behind his plea. He stands up and dusts himself off with a small sigh, "Sorry about that...."

"....it's ok....Spring's never ment to last for too long...." he paused, "Thank you for reminding me how.....beautiful it is." Endmyion looked down at the greening grass and desided to enjoy it, he lay on his front in the grass, watching a hestient flower unfld it's soft petals. "Apollo? is it alright if I just take a moment to enjoy this?" he looked up at the Sun god with a hopeful appeal.

Endymion's joy never failed at winning Apollo over. How could he say no to a face like that? He smirks at the fact that he didn't even desire to say no and get on with the training. He lays down as well, settling in for a small nap, "Of course it is... We'll have it again soon, but this is a healthy reminder...." He opens lazy violet eyes to gaze across at Endymion, "Training you is tiring me out..." He grins.

At that easy smile, Emdmyion brightened and truned aroudn to lay flat on his back. Looking up into the gray sky he sighed, the flowers, now they knew he was listening to him where asking for sunlight. Smiling in slightl nervousness he thought of how to go about clearing the clouds away. As he was calming museing about it, a sudden wind picked up, blowing his long hiar into dissrray. Sitting up in suprised he looked towards Apollo, The wind died, leaving the sky somewhat lightly spotted a few clouds the sun shining brighttly.
Brushing his messed up hiar from his face he asked. "What happened?"

Apollo gazes up at the sky, chuckling at Endymion's surprise. He had thought that the other god had combined their wishes on purpose, but his mistaken thought now provided some amusement, "Well you see, Endymion, when two gods have the same idea and the same hope for an outcome, the way the earth bows to their request is astonishing..." He chuckles, "It happens a lot, it's the easiest way to get things done, teamwork.... I thought you were doing it on purpose..." He chuckles, lying back and staring up at the sun, smiling over them, "She likes you by the way..." He gestures towards the sun before gazing back over to Endymion, "But really, you did most of that yourself. I barely had a chance to hear the flowers' pleading and then think about the sun before you cleared it away... You're learning fast... Instincts are kicking in."

Endmyion beamed at the praise. He looked up at the sun and told her his thanks as closed his eyes and enjoyed it's warmth, he lett out a soft giggle, he could hear the flower's 'singing' with joy at the life giving light.
Dmyion sighed, feeling himself relax.

The lean body of the sun god stretches out in the warmth of the sun shining lovingly down on both of them. He smiles as he watches Endymion, violet eyes dancing with obvious pleasure. Let no one say that the sight of a happy young god was not entrancing. Seeing Endymion like this made his chest swell until it felt nearly ready to burst. Before he could stop himself, he whispers, "I love you... I truly do... I never thought I'd be able to just look at a person and nearly cry, but here I am..." He lays back in the grass, slightly alarmed he had voiced his opinion, but not making any move ot retract his words.

"Eh?" Endymion's surprise didn't' take too long to fade into a expression of detachment. "Ah" He said and took a deep breath and steeled himself. "Apollo, I didn't like that you had to drop me yesterday...I can look past that. I forgive you because Diana had explaned it to me that it was the only way." It was getting really warm, he started to take off his jacket and shoes, he wiggles his bare toes in the grass smiling in pure pleasure. He continued, the warm day warming him up to letting this out. "But....I don't' know yet, If I can feel the same way towards you anymore." Dymion sighed, thinking about Diana, who tried so much to get him to like her. Apollo's sister, who was clearly devoted to making him happy even at the expense of her own happiness. Endymion couldn't just let her go, could he?
Endymion sighs and lays on his back, head turned towards the Sun-god. A flower was by his mouth. With one hand he drew it closer and gently touched it with his soft lips. Things would be much simpler if he were a flower.
