d**k and Damian left the cave, and Abby moved back over to Tim, asking: "Why didn't he hurt me? He sounded angry enough..."
Brigade, meanwhile, remained stationary and began surfing the Internet on its own; unlike when it had interfaced with the Batwave before, what it accessed was not put on screen. Then it looked to Jack and said: "Affirmative, Firerose-Jack," and looked toward the line of Batmobiles.
Brenda remained where she was, leaning against the wall and her arms folded. She was no longer smirking; rather, she was watching Jinx and Bruce intently. Barbara Gordon? So, this version of her was a vigilante...? She was in the GCPD in Brenda's universe.

Jinx had already mirrored Bruce's expression, "Of course, I thought of that... duh! It's just that when Wally showed up, it had only been a few seconds for him, while for me it had been about a year. I thought that it might be more likely that you may be from a different time... with the recent appearances lately. I had to ask; because, if you were out-of-time -- I didn't want to create some kind of time loop. This world is messed up as is."

Tim was mostly paying attention to what Bruce and Jinx were saying, but he turned his gaze to Abby when she asked a question.
"It's okay. He was just cataloging your DNA into the system for later reference. And... don't worry. He's always like that. He's not mad at you."

Crystal started to the outside entrance to the cave and stopped when Jack and Brigade spoke. She looked back and giggled at Brigade. "I think he ment a regular car, as to not be conspicuous."
She then continued outside and used a remote to call for her Bike. It didn't take it long to get there from the mansion. Once it had arrived she got onto it and took off down the road.

Arell walked over to Abby. "Che', he's mo' dan likely mad at US." he said, pointing back and forth between himself and Dundee. "Doan' take it personal." he said with a smile and walked back over to Dundee.
"Well, che', what're we gonna do now?" Dundee asked.
"We can either check up on C.J. or go grab a burger. Up t' you." Arell said, smiling a bit. Clearly this was a lot nicer form of Arell. Of course he was also off duty . . . he looked over at Kai.
"Hey, you want somethin' from town, che'?" he asked Kai.

Brenda sighed, looking everyone over. Brigade shrugged at Crystal's words and ascended the stairs, heading up to the Manor. Abby looked to Tim and asked: "What do we do now?"
And of course there was that idiot Cajun who had the audacity to have guns holstered here... and his even dumber friend, by the looks of him. The Cajun didn't scare her in the least; nothing scared Brenda Wayne...

Dundee looked up at Arell. "Probably better for us to LEAVE. By the looks of it, one of our friends is NOT too keen on us being here." he said to Arell, who looked at Brenda, taking a step back. Reaching for his mirrored sunglasses, he put 'em on, looking at Brenda.
"Lesson one a' de streets, Dun'. Hatah's gon' hate. Let's roll." Arell growled in his Cajun drawl. He looked over at Kai.
"C'mon, kiddo. Want some'in t' eat?" he asked Kai, a lot less of the "Get the hell outta my way, KID!" attitude that they had shared in the past, but more like a friend.

Jack looked back at Crystal when she told Brigade what he was thinking. The girl was about as perceptive as the Bat sometimes it seemed and he was thankful he didn't have to explain it himself.
"Hello?" An unfamiliar voice came over the com just as Bruce was about to say something else to Jinx.
Bruce looked over to the com and saw that it was coming from the orbital base. "I see you have the Tower up and running. What is left to be fixed? Also... Who are you?" He asked, slightly concerned that someone he didn't know was on the JL base and able to use the com system.
From over the com, they hear a girl's voice calling out the name "Jude! Jude! Jude!". Shortly after being followed by a crash. "Vere (where) are we?"
"Ok, Annette. I love you too. Please, off ribs." They hear in a strained voice from over the com.

Jinx had a very confused look on her face hearing that transmission from the JLA Watchtower, "Oooooookay, now what?"

Kai was almost tempted to go with them, but in her current condition going out into Gotham for the chance of food poisoning from poorly run fast food places, and, or, running into a criminal was not something she had in mind. Especially considering what had just happened, then again who else to show the guys to the nicer places to eat, being that they are still there when she gives them directions. She nodded then glanced to Bruce for a moment as the intercom played what appeared to be some unprofessional heroes starting up the base and messing around. The JLA satellite, was probably not a place to go around playing... after all she wasn't even allowed to play in the base. Kai followed the guys, maybe she would get in trouble, but maybe Bruce would feel more comfortable to the portion of them if she spent time with them. There were a few reasons she thought of that would make going with these 2 a good thing.

Arell nodded for her to come on. "Hey, y'all been t' Pierside Joe's yet?" he asked with a smile.
"Aww, c'mon, man. Why we goin' there? Oysters ain't in season yet back home, but hey, up t' y'all. Whatcha think, Kai?" Dundee asked. Personally he hoped there was a better little place that she knew about. Preferably without sawdust on the floor, a chicken wire-fenced bandstand and the chance of walking out in worse condition than when you walked in.

"I know of some places with Greek food, and vegetarian menus that's really good."
She blushed a little bit... thinking about going out with these guys. "Going out, not really a date though." Hopefully she thought to herself that Arell would stay this kind to her. Who knows when he'd blow a gasket again and tell her what to do. At the same time, Greek, good choice, where she started off, unbeknown to all her friends and food that she knows really well. "who said that you get tired of too much of something" She thought, although the modernized versions of Greek food aren't entirely the same if not completely different. That and she can't really eat meat since the whole, soul taking thing. She can't understand why really, but the pain and normal food appetite is about equal to getting terrible food poisoning...

"Greek sounds great t' me, che'! You point, I'll drive." he said with a smile. Blissfully unaware of the big kettle of trouble C.J. and that gal he talked to a lot . . . Misty? Nah. They'd be fine. They probably stopped somewhere to get gas on the way home. After all, C.J. DID ask if the Batmobile took Unleaded.
Dundee smiled. "See? Told ya he was a good guy." Dundee said quiet enough that only Kai would hear.

Tim looked at Abby and gripped her shoulder. She was still shaken from it all... then he made a "what was that??" face in Bruce's direction after the transmission from the Watch Tower Satellite.
"I'm guessing next on the list is to make sure those guys don't accidentally bring the Watch Tower out of orbit."
This was a mutter-of-a-response for Abby, though it was only in a lower tone so the people over the comm didn't hear. It sounded like a mess up there.
