Seth looked back at his plate a moment before starting to eat again.
Annexus looked at Lilly and smiled before turning back to Rina. "Don't worry, we'll find it."

Rina nodded. As much as she'd love to kill the thing that had given Rita so much trouble, she knew that Annexus could handle it alone. Besides, she'd have to worry about killing the Eternal Eyes.

Seth finished his meal and excused himself from the table, leaving onto the balcony to get some fresh air. All the talk about killing was too much for him. While he had done his fair share, and he didn't mind it, but to him, it was a sacred thing, death was, and though he would not hesitate to kill, for it to be taken so lightly . . . it disturbed him.
He was fairly certain that Rina had never actually killed anyone before.

Rina saw Seth leave and wondered why he had left so quickly. She excused herself as well and followed him. "I-Is something wrong?" she asked.

Seth sighed. "You've never killed anyone before . . . have you?"
He looked her in the eye. "I've done my fair share of killing . . . and I'll tell you, its not something that should be taken lightly, even in thoughts of revenge. Its something that weighs on you, a human life. Its not something that can just be taken back, like words . . . " He looked down. "Its something that will slowly eat away from you, if you don't truly understand its weight."

"I understand that, but I'd gladly carry that weight as long as I know that anyone that has hurt my sister has paid for it. I've carried the weight of knowing that my sister feels my pain just as I do. Every time I'm hurt of injured, Rita feels it too. I'm the cause of all of her pain. I want to make up for it by getting revenge for her," Rina said.

Seth turned and looked at her, straight faced. He reached out and caressed her cheek, then pulled back and slapped her. He pulled his hand back and then looked at the ground, his eyes full of remorse. "I'm sorry."
He looked at her again, his eyes welling with tears. "I cannot abide anyone taking any life lightly. Death is the ending of life, the taking of a living soul by force. What you must come to realize is that if you were to imagine your own sister dying . . . you are bringing the same pain and suffering into the life of your enemy, to his family, to his friends." He shook his head. "When two people face each other, and one lives, while one dies, there is always pain that comes with it, the only difference is where it goes, based on the survivor. That is the respect for death that you must have."
He looked at the sky. "You almost died today, what if you had? How would the people you left behind feel? How would you sister look at your death?" He looked back at her again. "Death can come for you at any time. To disrespect death is to invite it to yourself."
He smiled at her. "I am sorry for striking you, but I have seen my fair share of death, and have just as well dealt it." He kept the smile, but stopped talking. I would prefer that you not make the same mistake as so many others, I would not wish to see you dead, I can tell that you have a good heart, and if you survive, you will do much good in this world.
His thoughts faded, and he stood there, as if waiting for her to hit him in return.

Rina was shocked when he hit her, but she did not return the strike. "I understand that, but I just feel as this is something I have to do. I cannot allow anyone that has harmed my sister to get away with it. If I die as a result, I only have myself to blame for it. I would do anything to ensure that Rita lives as long as she can, even if it means staining my hands with the blood of others." She looked up at the sky. "A wise man once told me 'No matter how red your hands get, blood can always be washed away.' That man was my father. I believe every word of it."

Mimi gasped slightly (because he had scared her) and then blushed widly when Ikki popped out of nowhere. She nodded when Hiro said they were about to head back. "Yeah... we were just about to go back.." She looked at Hiro and giggled slight from the shocked look and reaction he had from Ikki surprising them.

Yin finished her meal and headed back up towards her room. Since she was unneeded at the moment, she decided to go visit a friend. While leaving, she noticed a boy with pointy ears, but paid no mind to him. Just another house guest... Yin headed towards a house, but stopped at a local flower shop to pick up some tulips beforehand. "She likes these." The door was always unlocked, so she just headed in. "Hey Ty! You up there?" Yin headed up some stairs to a run down little home. It was nice and clean, but the place was falling apart. "In the kitchen." Yin went into the kitchen to find Ty boiling some water. "You finally come see little old me again?"

Seth turned and left Rina on the balcony. He understood her pain, but all that she was doing was inviting the same pain onto herself.
Annexus watched him leave, and turned to Lilly. "Perhaps this dinner conversation has ended. Besides, I wish to see what new drawings you have for me." He smiled and gave her hand a squeeze.

Rina sighed. She had not meant to upset him. All she wanted was for him to understand that, though she didn't want to kill, she had to to protect Rita. Protecting, to her, included making sure that no one got away with harming her. She left and went back to Rita's room.
