What Hanzo said. Luckily, it's nowhere near as expensive as some other "important" items for cosplays.
(such as the overrated Ancient Katana)

I have Tamago which is what I used for my Aya cosplay (I was in the arenas back near the beginning of the year) It has a nice katana in it so when I need a japanese sword I just use that.

I think that the reason why folks hype up the A. Katana so much is because it's sleeker-looking than the Yama no Tamago's.

Perhaps.
I still favour the Yama no Tamago's wakizashis over the Ancient Katana in pretty much every aspect.
Edit: I think I'm going to quest the Yama no Tamago. I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm going to need that item in the future...

Out of those three designs, I like the second one better. The crescent moon hair pin is a very nice touch.

The crescent moon hair pin is a very nice touch. thanks. :3 and to be honest, i'm not as big a fan of the second design. i only made it because i saw a couple other reisen cosplayers with the look, minus the hairpin, and i wanted to try it out. personally, the jacket looks too long to me, and the skirt i have to use with it in order to see a skirt ends up going to long in front so it clashes with the shoes.
