"Play?!" Leuchtkafer said with childish excitement. That was a word he liked. He flickered a little energetically as he gently felt the vibrations of Jesse's throat. So many things to learn and so little time.

Leuchtkafer nuzzled his father lovingly, "Father..." It said again. He would have to be taught many things; due to being so young. And he would let Jesse teach him, no matter what it was, "L-Love father..."

Jesse smiled, as the wisp nuzzled him, nuzzling the male back. "I love you too, little one." He smiled, sitting in his chair and pulling a thick tome to his lap. It was a beginner's book of spells, simple easy ones. He opened it, and smiled. "Do you want to learn?"

The little wisp swirled around excitedly. It was obvious he was more than willing to learn from his father.

He invoked the first spell, one meant to ignite a small flame that was easily controlled. He pointed. "Karmi!" He looked up at the wisp, as a small flame sprang into being. "Can you copy me?"

The wisp swirled more with excitement, "Karmi!!" It said. As it swirled like a little black hurricane, a flame appeared in the eye of the small storm.

He clapped. "Good job!" He looked down at the tome in his lap. "Now say Lokit!" The flame winked out of existance. The whole book went that way, teaching a spell and then the counterspell for it.

"Lokit!!" The wisp repeated. The flame flickered away. He started to enjoy this, "Karmi!" And the flame appeared again, "Lokit!" the flame died. The wisp hugged Jesse again happily, "Love Father!"

He laughed, hugging and nuzzling the wisp back some, feeling better as he regained strength. "Love you... you're such a fast learner.."

Leuchtkafer laughed and swirled around Jesse. He knew only a few words, but he hoped to learn more. He was maturing at such a fast rate; to please his father. Once Jesse's strength is back to normal, he would start trying to mature faster by taking his aura into himself. Then, his growth would increase at such an unprecedented rate that he could be able to maintain the creature he was before and become an extremely powerful being. When the wisp became the dragon before, the flames had no effect to his surroundings. It was because he didn't know how to use his powers. But once he takes knowledge and power from Jesse and the environment...
He really could become a serpent that devours the world.

[[OMG! I pass by a barn every day that looks like a Domo-kun. I s**t you not.]]

They continued with the book until Leuchtkafer [[Fyi; 'Lew-kt-kahffer']] could replicate any spell named that had been in the book. Jesse sighed, leaning back in his chair. He wondered what he should teach his 'son' next. "How about a little break for now, I'm still tired from my ordeal." His face brightened. "How about a story?"

Leuchtkafer eagerly practiced with Jesse. As he did, he learned various words and what they meant. Now he is more capable of putting together a sentence. He is also more confident with his form. He curled up in the crook between Jesse's chest and his arm lovingly, one wispy hand rubbing Jesse's chest softly, "Storytime!" he said happily. The more Jesse spoke, the more vocabulary Leuchtkafer learned.

He smiled, sitting up in the chair. He lifted his flesh paw, and lowered it, the room darkening a bit around them. "Once upon a time.."
His voice took on a mystic quality that all good storytellers are able to produce, where a listener can see and feel, almost, the story being told. "There was a man. This man... was at the top of his Art, and a member of the Council of Fourteen. The other thirteen, after creating the multiverse, grew disturbed. They didn't like the Last, because of the things he introduced to our world. Evil but needed things; entropy, death, all that." He paused, to collect his thoughts. "He held the Fourteen Qualities that all people have, in perfect balance; Lust, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Pride, Sloth, Gluttony, Chastity, Temperence, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, and Humility all in balance with one another." He licked his lips. "He grew to be the most powerful of the Council, those immortals second only to the gods. The Last thought it only fair that the Council reigned instead of the gods, being the Architects behind the multiverse. He challenged the gods, and in their fury they sundered him. The man, At'la Otelherran the 'Balanced Last', was too powerful to simply be destroyed, the gods could only tear him. And even then his power needed to be spread across seven; each of those in balance. One became Seven, with the opposing qualities in perfect balance; Chastity with Lust, Temperence with Gluttony, Charity with Greed, Diligence with Sloth, Patience with Wrath, Kindness with Envy, Humility with Pride."

Such big words...Leuchkaufer nuzzled closer to Jesse and small flaming tears developed inside him, like he was crying softly for Jesse, "...Love you Father..." He said quietly. Even to a child's mind, he kind of understood who Jesse was talking about in the story, "H-How it end?"
