Sanvi dropped their hands and slowly walked forward. "Garin…?" she asked hesitantly. She kept walking until she was next to him, and then she sat down beside him.

"What is wrong with you?" Sanvi demanded. "That girl you nearly killed came up to me and thanked me for saving her life, but for whatever reason I don't feel much better. Why's that? Oh, maybe it's because the guy I love is being a complete a** about my brother, that I've never met, I might add, shows up and flips out because someone has my name! Why are you like this? Let it go and grow up, Garin!" She had ended up screaming and crying by the end.

Garin took in a deep breath and spoke very calmly. "I was just upset that you had been attacked basically without cause, and I was worried that the attacks would continue if I didn't stop them. That was why I threatened her. It had been my full intention to release her once he was off the offensive, and then leave, and hold no grudges. However, you didn't trust me, because you think I'm the cold monster that your brother perceives my entire race as. And I had thought you were entirely accepting of us, understanding that some of us were monsters, and all of us could be dangerous, but a few try to go against our nature and be a little more, I don't know, human, and maybe I was childish for being wounded and shaken when that notion I held onto was shattered. If that was the case, I apologize." His voice remained calm and even the entire time.

"Garin…" Sanvi said quietly. "Why…"'She shook her head. "If you don't want to be around me because of what my brother thinks that's fine. I can see that I'm not doing anything to help you so I'm just going to go and get to know my brother…" She turned away from him and started walking back to Faith and Jake.
