Lillith held on with all her might, and was still startled into almost letting go as they rushed upwards. She buried her face in his chest for a moment with a tiny squeak. The singer only pulled her head away when he pointed out the window. Nodding her head, she said, "Yes, that does appear to be Alexia's handiwork... I do hope she's alright..."

For a moment, Alphonse only saw Doctor Surflue and thought perhaps they were mistaken. But then he heard Alexia's voice; he knew he had not mistaken that. The two seemed to be arguing, from what he could tell. "We are going in, Lillith. I am afraid I must take take you with me. If this turns ugly, hide yourself away and wait for one of us. I will not have you hurt again for my foolishness."

She nods, and then buries her face in his jacket again, to protect herself the best she can from any extra bits of glass that might be still in the window. "Alright, I'm ready." Lillith tells Alphonse calmly.

Once Lillith indicated that she was ready, Alphonse flew into the broken window. He landed and set Lillith on her feet, then looks to Surflue with a wide smile, though it does not reach his eyes. "Bonjour, Monsieur! Forgive us if we invite ourselves in, but it would seem you are housing a friend of ours!" He glanced briefly to Alexia, then back to Surflue. Alexia was alive, at least, though she did not look particularly intact. "We will be taking her away now. I do hope you have no objections." It would be so much nicer if the three of them could walk back down without any trouble. But Alphonse was fairly certain he could carry both women if need be.

As soon as they landed in the room, Lillith let go of Alphonse and hurried over to Alexia, concern in her eyes. "Miss Alexia, are you alright?" she asks.
[I guess now we just wait for dragonhealer....]

[Honestly I don't know what's going on with dragonhealer so I'm just going to say she's in a coma and be done with it until she decides to show up again] "The woman is in no condition to so much as stand on her own two feet, sir. I must insist that you take my word for it, you may even stay here and watch her, if you wish." The girl looked as if she'd just been mauled by a bear. "Please," I asked, gesturing to the couch. "May I get you some proper bandages, madam? There is some blood in the refridgerator, if either of you are interested." I gently picked up the woman, Alexia I think she said her name was, and placed her on the air matress I'd filled for her on the floor.
I decided to see Dr. Surflue. Lulu and I were "seperated" now, relationship wise, but I owed it to her to do this much. The girl was sure she was pregnant, and claimed that the baby was my own. We rushed down the steps and headed to my car. I prayed that Lillith wouldn't somehow see.

Alphonse is somewhat surprised by Surflue's response, but decides after a moment of chin in hand thought to take the man at his word. He nods once slowly. They were not in such a rush and Surflue's concern seemed genuine. "Lillith. Perhaps it would be best for us to stay a time. Perhaps until Alexia awakes?"

Lillith nods her head in agreement with Alphonse's statement. As she slowly rises, she wobbles as her skin starts to go pale. "Um... if it's nto too much trouble... I might be in need of some..." she says shakily.

"Of course," I said, handing her a glass of blood. "So would either of you be able to explain to me exactly what is going on?" The two seemed uncomfortable and irritated, and the woman, Alexia, had been so nervous before passing out. They all had great burdens to bear, I was sure. "By the way," I added, "I am Dr.Surflue, I'm visiting the city for the duration of the war." I winced a little after making it seem that my services here were voluntary. If the choice had been my own, I would never have left England.

Alphonse chuckles lightly and holds his arms out to the side in an expansive sort of shrug. "Explain it to you exactly, monsieur? Non. I have little information I am afraid. Only that the war has yet to even begin and it has already caused so much devastation. You are a good man to come here at such a time, but the good are not immune to dying. Perhaps you should consider somewhere outside the city?"

Evidently, Lillith was needing blood badly, as she drains the glass in just a few swallows. After a brief moment, her skin turns a more humanly color and she hands the cup back to the doctor. "Thank you." she whispers before taking a seat in a chair close to her, looking exhausted. "We've been trying to find Miss Alexia. She was hurt rather badly, and was chasing down this person. We are very worried about her. Thank you for taking care of her."

I nodded to the girl. "Well, sir, I have a role here as much as any full-blooded Tamathan, which I am certain you are not. Even men from great distances are taking a blow from the hardships of violent quarrel in this city, and it is a shame. You know what I mean, no?" My last sentence feigned a French accent, which is quite difficult when you've lived in England nearly your whole life. I chuckled, then let out a deep sigh. "I'm afraid leaving is not an option currently," I used great care in choice of words, realizing just now how fragile ideas were. If anyone so much as assumed that I was betraying this side of the city, which I was not, the consequences would be far worse than fatal.

"As you say, then." Alphonse kneels by Alexia to have a look at her. te lovely little hellion was quite serene when she was asleep. when she woke again, she would no doubt think herself ready to run off and get int trouble again. Alphonse clucked his tongue, shook his head and gently brushed the hair back from Alexia's face. Such a rambunctious woman.

Our menial conversation only made me more starving for information. The woman that crashed through my window obviously wasn't a victim of simply accidental causes. Something about the whole incident was very wrong, it just didn't piece together. If it were a military official, they would have taken care to use the proper utensils, well, to say proper untensils would be a euphamism, but at any rate it was definitely not the government's work. "Sir," I began, "would you mind filling me in at least about who she is? If the rest is confidential or something, I don't need to know. For example, I will not ask why three east side Tamathans are galavanting about on one of the most dangerous streets in the city." He seemed a bit confused about my knowledge of their misplacement. "You aren't from here, you are from France, correct? I can tell by your pure accent that you are not faking, certainly. The west side hasn't taken in any foreignors for at least one thousand years. I believe it was during a time when there were many population difficulties on this side, considering foreignors were coming in and getting their own countries involved with our constant violence and wars. The east side, if I'm correct, abolished that law about two hundred years ago, when it was no longer a problem because the other countries were fighting for them. Therefore, the West side still disallows them." I took a breath. "I studied before entering the gates of hell, my friend."
"This is it," I said as we pulled up beside the doctor's apartment. My ex-girlfriend merely stared down at her stomach and growled softly. I realized right then and there that if the baby were mine, I was in for a world of trouble. All I wanted was to be with my dear, sweet Lillith, and a mere short relationship was going to get in the way of that with the blink of an eye. Consequences were inevitable at this point, I just couldn't see how I would tell my love that I was seeing someone, even if only for a week. That was it, though. I'd have to tell her about it, whether or not the child was my own. I marched up the steps and rang the doctor's buzzer. "Dr. Surflue, you there? I have something I need to see you about." My voice held little urgency, I didn't want anyone to know how skittish my feelings were.
I listened to the little message from the living room with my somewhat guests. "Please excuse me, I believe that is a friend of mine."
