Aerith didn't move or flinch away when he pulled the weapon out.Probably because she already knew he wouldn't attack somehow.Her useall cheerful,loveing eyes narrowed ever so slightly.Something was oviously wrong..
"Cody..What's wrong?" She stepped foward.
Yuffie blinked,and would of had the coat thrown over her face if her ninja reflects didn't kick it.She grabbed the white coat in that second,before stareing back at him. "Okay, I admit its really cold. But, You need this. After all, What would everyone do if there leader, Rufus ShinRa got ill?" She tossed it back.

Rufus shrugged, throwing it back around his shoulders. " A new president would rise. Probably Reeve. I'd be cursed, forgotten, and be a nice headline for the Midgar Post." Rufus looked at her seriously, before a slight grin tugged at his mouth.
Cody shook his head. " Rufus says I attacked Reno...but I cant remember...I dont think I did...but I think I did...at the same time...you know what I mean?" Cody sighed, leaning his head back with a sigh." I feel horrible.."

"Well.. We'll just have to make sure that doesn't happen.Right? I dont think Reeve would be very good,But thats just my opinion!" Yuffie looked back toward Cody and Aerith, then to Rufus again.
"I wonder what he's saying? "
Aerith shook her head lightly.She didn't beleive it all to much.She knew Rufus wasn't there enemy before,but was that still going? What if...He had told Cody a lie to make him wonder,and eventually it ate at his mind to the point it drove him mad?
"I dont think I can beleive that..I really dont know..Please stay calm and dont think about it to much, okay? First lets find out the truth.If you let it bother you to much...You might end up like someone else."

Cody smirked slowly. " Y'know...I think....but..." Cody laughed...the sound disturbingly reminiscent of...."Ha...ha...ha....I dont like this much...." He looked at Aerith, his pupils turned almost snakelike...thin slits..." He chuckled and began walking due north, toward the crater. " Interesting..."
Rufus frowned, shivering slightly. " Forgive me for bringing it up..but that laugh...sounds eerily familiar....almost like...when -he- snapped...

"C..Cody?" Aerith stepped aside, as he passed her. Now her thoughts were completely off the thought of Rufus pulling something. It was ovious now, it wasnt Rufus..
Yuffie shudderd lightly, It wasn't Sephiroth she was begining to think of. That laugh sounded more like Hojo to her. Maybe because he was the one person she hated so much that it would be the first thing she would think of.
"Oh gawd..Its a mix between Hojo and Sephiroth. Which cant..be good..Well,duh! Oviously."

Cody turned, smiling at Aerith, and speaking in a voice that wasn't quite his " You died before....to stop me..I dont think it'll work again...this planet doesn't have enough energy...." He chuckled and with a flash of white...disappeared, his sword flying through the air and falling to the ground, sticking, sheath and all, in the snow.
Rufus sheilded his eyes when the man disappeared, then eyed the sword, as he shook his head. " Well..I think we know what is happening.....now..." Rufus stared at Yuffie, waiting for her to figure it out..." Rufus nodded at her. " What do you think Princess?"

Aerith stepped back,shocked and utterly confused.Which wasn't something that happend to her very offten.
"No...!" She brought up her hands to shield her eyes the moment the intense light broke out,only to slowly uncover them,and stare at the sword in the ground..
Yuffie felt like an idiot. But,If it was what she was thinking, It didn't make sense. "Gawddd..I dont get it. What the hell is going on?! Its not Sephiroth..How could it be? "

Rufus shook his head. " Sephiroth will know more about Cody's actions..he was controlled by the same force once.." Rufus turned to Yuffie, to see if she can figure out what he's talking about. " You understand Princess?" He frowned slightly. " Jenova."
(Because we dont seem to have one right now, i'll play him for a bit.)
Vincent jumped from the tree above Rufus and Yuffie. " It would seem that the "Calamity from the skies" has returned..." He nodded slightly as his cloak rustled, a bright red stain on the white of the snow.

"But..I thought Jenova was destroyed? And..Sephiroth, I think he took out everything that had been part of ..her.I dont see how there can still be a remaining part of her left."
Yuffie looked up suddenly, the bright red of Vincents cloak stuck out really well in the white snow.Certinly wouldn't do him any good if he was trying to hide, thats for sure.
"Vinnie! Oh my gosh..Where did you come from?? You disappear to much!" She blinked,now wasn't the time to get exited about seeing her team mate,was it.

Rufus frowned, noting Vincent's presence. " I dont know if Sephiroth figured it out....he may have....but Cody was the first of the super-SOLDIER program. We took SOLDIERs, injected them with mako....the cells of the best SOLDIERs, even Sephiroth...and spiked them with Jenova's DNA....immensely powerful...that's why Cody can even see....his natural skill with the sword, even though he was blind, amplified with Sephiroth's skills, and the immense flood of energy from the Jenova effect.....all combined..."
Vincent shook his head. " It would seem Hojo's presence just wont give up....no matter how many times that monster dies, another of his projects claws it's way to the surface...." He looked down at his claw, closing his eyes slightly. " So...it would seem Sephiroth is now on our side..judging by the way he assisted in the destruction of your cyborgs, eh Rufus?"

"Wonderful.." She was at loss for words.It seemed as though the group never did get a break, did they? A moment of peace, then chaos erups so suddenly.Shakeing her head, the ninja glanced toward Aerith, who had joined up with them after Cody left..
"Well..At least Sephiroth is on our side, and that girl..So all of us,Sephiroth and her,fighting together! There's no way we could lose! "

Vincent frowned. " Jenova doesn't stand a chance....she doesn't have the legion of Sephiroth clones to assist her this time...so...what could...." He turned, leaning against a tree. " We should go inside...and think on this. "

She turned,decideing which house to go into. Gast,or the INN.Ether one would of been fine, before they froze outside.
"Should we go into your place, Aerith?" She didn't exactly wait for an answer,before running down to the house.

Sephiroth reappeared atop Gast's house, then dropped to the ground. He had a slight smirk on his face as he turned to the house and stepped inside. Glancing around, hardly bothering to really notice if anyone was nearby, he couldn't help but laugh loudly. "They have no idea what they are doing... They do not have the brilliance of Gast this time.."

Yuffie barely made it toward the door when Sephiroth had suddenly appeared.And running,then suddenly trying to stop in deep snow didn't help the matters.She stumbled slightly,before falling into the snow.
"......" As she sat up again,there was just a faint muttering that came from her. "I really hate when people do things like that.." Finally, she stood, embarrised as she brushed snow off of her cloths..
