"Hey" Zack said petting one of the cats. "you guys came to check up on me then" he said with a weak smile. "Lets just say the ghosts of the past like to torment me alot." he said his eyes still lfowing with tears, and they had a very sad look to them.

SHadow leaned forward and swatted at the bell, purring softly as he used his two fore paws to play with the shiney "Bad-thing, called Corbies......" he said, remembering something "Big, white, birdey men, like dark places....eat anything...."
The other four beast were looking at Zack, settling down around him "Cry?" on asked.
"Why?" another added.

Kimmi paled even more. "Oh oh bad, very bad. Shadow that's where Kay and Bubbles went!" She dropped the bell and ran for the supply truck. She quickly pulled on a holster and grabbed to .45s. She came back to her tent and dumped her duffel back out. A set of sai's wrapped in a leather holster fell to the top of the pile from the bottom of the bag. "Been awhile." She said softly as she quickly changed into a pair of black pants and a pink tank top. Pink ribbons were woven in to the holster and the handles of the sai's were wrapped with pink silk. She quickly strapped them on and put her pouch back on.

"I gotta get down there and start closing those doors before it finds them. Shadow where does it stay mostly?" She asked as she pulled the bell from his grip and tied it around his neck. "We need to block it from getting to Kay and Bubbles."

Kimmi felt sick to her stomach. "Milo! Otis! Sarg!" She yelled as she grabbed a back pack and filled it with what was left of thee glow ticks. "Shadow we gotta get down there. I gotta get those doors closed and cut them off from the generator and bubbles and Kay." She informed him as she rushed towards the ramp. "Kay and bubbles are in trouble. I have to go close off the doors in the basement. Get everyone you can and get down to the bottom floor. Find those two and help them. Shadow says there are bird things down there that are going to try to eat them. Get weapons and light and head that way!" She yelled at Sarg when he appeared.

Kimmi rushed down ramp, sliding half the way. She pulled on her pink gloves as she went. She quickly climbed through the window and with a glance around to make sure there were no monsters near her she took off down the stairs. Reaching the bottom floor she pulled out her flash light and snapped on of the glow sticks leaving it near the stairs door. She pulled the tracker from her pouch and frowned. "They got pretty far." She looked up at the vents and smiled as she climbed on top of a gurney and wiggled her way in. "I'll get ahead of them and start closing the doors, that should cut those things off from them."

When Bubbles started firing she looked back and caught a glance of the things. Kay grabbed Bubbles and threw him into the Generators control room, turning in front of the door way she drew her twin katanas. "Better hurry up with that thing Bubbles!" she yelled as she junped at the creatures, taking off one of their heads as she sliced the others stomach.

Kay growled and stabbed the bird creature in the neck with the other katana before diving and grabbing the other sword. Rolling she jumped back to her feet and back flipped over a talon attack. "HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW!" she shouted at Bubbles. With two swift slices she cut the being into quarters and resumed her position in front of the doorway, posed for action. "Try hitting it!"

Fillup smiled when Kimmi burst out of the vent, though he wasn't too happy about her being here without more backup "Well, you do that while we watch the do-" a grating sound stopped him mid-word. It came from the door, or the other side of the door anyway. Something was tearing at it, and Fillup guessed it was more of those bird-men.

Shadow growled as he found the door, more of his friends at his back. The doorway was choked with Corbies, all screeching and sqwaking for a chance at the door. There were at least a dozen. Shadow kicked off from the ceiling, smashing into the rear Corbie and tearing out its spine before it knew what was happening. The others stopped their attack on the door, choosing instead to turn their attention to the 'food' before them.
They didn't see the other Abicer-cats behind Shadow, and more of them died in the first few second of the fight.

Shadow roared angrily as a large Corbie tore a gash along his side. The bird-man hissed as it smelled his blood, leaping forward with renewed vigor at the smell of food. Shadow growled and stood on two of his legs, the other four swating, scraping and tearing at the bird-man's chest and arms. He managed to clamp his teeth into the Corbie's shoulder, but that left him open to its deadly beak.
The battle traged in the small hall, growls sqwaks and cries of pain echoed throughout the complex. A few of the cats had fallen, but the Corbies were being cut down in greater numbers. Shadow purred as he felt the beast he fought spasm before it could kill him. Another cat had torn out the back of its neck, taking advantage of Shadow's distraction.
The cat looked back at Kay over his shoulder, purring still as he saw her deal death to the bird-men like one of his kin "Kill bad Corbies!" he roared, launching himself back into the swirling chaos that was the fight.
