She sighed softly, lifting her shoulders in a slight shrug. "It went well enough, I suppose." she said. "He's in a bit of a bad mood, so we should probably leave him be for now." She smiled slightly, but it didn't reach her eyes. It was then that her empty stomach decided to make itself known. The growl it made could have rivaled any of hers, and she giggled, putting a hand over it gently. "I guess we ought to feed the tiger in my tank..before it claws it's way out."

Kyatora watched the two momentarily converse, the sound of their voices floating in her ears as her lips curl in a soft but bright smile. " Miss Ivy it is always a pleasure to keep Jigsaw out of trouble, for keeping him entertained, I am thus entertained. " Her voice was a tone of melodic music. The sound of her soft music laugh floated through the air as she heard the sound Ivy's stomach growling, it being a reminder that she herself had not fed in quite a few moons. Taking some quiet steps toward the two, " Indeed, we do not want that tiger to get in your tank fed. We don't want anything happening to you, and we may want to feed the wolf that is growing in my own tank." A playful smirk playing on her lips as she speaks.

Ivy smiled again, nodding. "If you like, there are bottles of blood kept chilled in the freezer at the back of the kitchen, or I'm sure there will be some poor wandering human near the village on the other side of the plains." she said quietly, swishing her tail slightly. "Feel free to help yourself to either." She turned then, patting Jigsaws arm gently. "Come along, Jigsaw..let us go see what there is to rummage in the kitchen, hm?"

"Of course, my lady. I am hoping they brought in come fresh carrion for you. I know how weak you get when you don't feed. And, as long as you laugh, I shall never go hungry." Raising up, and taking Ivory, arm in arm, they begin to head for the kitchen.

Kyatora nodded softly to Ivy's comment on the blood kept in the freezer. " Indeed, I have rather enjoyed the blood from the freezer these past few years. " She says with a soft smirk, she always enjoyed a good hunt every now and again, but at that moment she was quite happy with remaining in the castle. Turning on her heels as she softly follows them down to the kitchen not wanting to leave the company of others so soon.

As the trio started heading to the kitchen, a peculiar feeling began flowing through the jester's thoughts. He stopped suddenly, gripped by the feelings flowing through his mind. The ivory complexion that normally formed the countenance of his face, began to darken subtly. The flecks of white, almost appeared to chip off, revealing a gray, almost lifeless flesh underneath. The always smiling mouth, it's corners began to turn down slightly, in a frown, as the hint of fangs began to protrude. The light that lies behind his eyes, went from soft white to blood red in an instannt.
As quickly as it happened, the change went away, and everything was as it was before, save for the jester's mind was gone, into unconsciousness. With a slight jerk, he dropped, falling at Ivory's feet, very noisily, and unceremoniously.

Ivy halted, turning to look at Jigsaw. Lifting her brow, she stepped back slightly, giving him a curious look. "I know I'm great, Jigsaw, but no need to worship me like that.." she said softly, a bit of a smirk curving her lips. "Seriously though, what are you doing down there?"

The heap that the fool fell into wasn't his normal fair. It almost looked like he was in genuine distress. His suit had not deflated, and, by the shape of the body, he was obviously still present, just, not.

When Jigsaw had fallen down she stopped her steps, looking down at him with a curious look. Raising her brow in interest, as she looks back up to Ivy. " I believe that there is something wrong with him..." Her voice was somewhat questioning with interest and just a slight of concern for her old friend.

Two nights travel, Julian thought to himself in relative disgust. It had taken two nights to make their way through the mountains and finally stand on the actual grounds of the Haven. Though if one were to put the question to his father they would have been told that the plains and the mountains were considered a part of the Haven lands as well as the ocean. He and his sister had been forced to take refuge in a small cave from the harshest of the suns rays before continuing towards home. And while neither of them were physically tired any longer they were both mentally exhausted. Gazing upon the castle, he allowed himself a small smile, somewhat pleased to see that a couple of centuries had failed to bring to much change to home. With a sigh he turned to await his sister to catch up to him, knowing that she would not be long in coming...he could feel her excitement, no...she won't want to wait.

Turning away from the mountain trail, Christiana shook her head, and like her brother, simply paused in her movements to take in the sight of the castle. Granted they were not actually there yet, but they would have passed through onto what was actually considered the castle grounds. Moving easily she made her way to her twins side and paused to lean against him for a moment. As comfortable with his silence as he was with hers. Moving her gaze over the structure she also smiled. It still looked the same, as ominous and creepy as ever. Laughing because she felt no need to hold it in, she turned in a graceful circle before coming to stop in front of her brother. :Come on Julian...I do not know about you, but I am more than ready to be home: Turning away as she spoke softly in his mind, she began to move forward again. : Do you think father will come to meet us?:

In the darkness of his subconscious, Jigsaw lay dormant. His body no longer his own, and his mind trapped in some sort of snare. As he beheld himself in the mirror of his mind, he saw, not the masked harlequin, but the disgraced noble, to afraid to take his rightful place. A voice echoed in the darkness, startling the young man... "You wear the mask, but do not use it's power... how weak. When it was in my possession, Oh the things I could do. Hmmm... hahahaha.. the things I WILL do with it, with YOU!" The evil laughter echoed up and down the walls of his mind, drowning out the thousand voices which he was so accustomed to dealing with. And for once, in his long existence, Jigsaw was afraid.
Out in the real world, the comatose body twitched, as if jolted be some unseen force.

Ivy considered the twitching form on the floor for a moment, then reached out and nudged at him gently with the toe of her boot. "Jigsaw, are you alright?" she asked, her voice only slightly concerned. She thought about kneeling down to check on him, but decided against it. Self preservation had been instilled in her as a youth and she knew better than to put herself in harm's way, regardless of the situation. Instead, she took a step back, her expression growing wary.

Kyatora continued to stare down at the pile that was Jigsaw, the twitch catching her eye and she ponders its meaning for a moment before disregarding it for the most part. Though she has spoken to this jester on several occasions in her time in the Haven, she still found that there were a large multitude of things that she would never know nor understand about the jester. " Jigsaw..? " She says more of a broken question looking for a response in general more than a specific answer. Taking her own step back as she watches him slowly and carefully.

Incoming message. . .
(OOC: Posting this here too, since the Plains are considered part of the Haven lands. It was previously posted in the other thread, for reference.)
I moved silently through the tall grasses of the plains, my senses on alert for any sign of danger. I hadn't fed this night, nor the one before. Not that I was in any danger of dieing for this..quite the opposite. I've found in my many years of wandering that the longer I go between feedings, the more apt I am to sense danger before it becomes dangerous, so to speak. I paused, listening for heartbeats. When I heard none, I continued onward. I could see the castle now, looming in the path ahead. I had been away for so long..I wasn't even sure I would be welcome after the last near death encounter I'd had. Not near death for me, of course. Near death for the unfortunate girl that I'd run across. I only knew what had happened because Hiratoshi had shared the memory later to punish me for trying to absolve myself of it. I hadn't tried since. I knew somewhere deep in my heart that I would never be rid of the weapon. I only had one option left to me. Once more return to the Haven, to that one girl that had the odd ability to dissolve the weapon's hold on me. This meant that perhaps I could have a chance at normality, even if it were only for a few moments. But then, could I ever be normal? Heaving a small sigh, I started moving again, making haste toward the one last refuge available to me on this plane. Toward the Haven.
End of message.
