A low growl rumbled in Azaroth's throat. "This blood sucker is starting to annoy me..." He smirked as an idea came to mind. "I wonder how he'd handle a bunch of little blood suckers floating around..." he muttered eying the mosquitos that zipped through the night air whispering to them, urging them to persuade the vampire to stay away from the shops.

Komori smiled as they walked toward a jewelry shop... then frowned as their seemed to be an unusual amount of mosquitos around him
Ro giggled as she watched him bat the pesky bugs away "The bloodsucker can't handle other bloodsuckers?"
"Haha... very funny Ro... why are they only attacking me?"
She shrugged still giggling "maybe they sense a kindred spirit and want to get... closer?"

Komori growled and batted at the bugs "Ro.. please... help me out here?"
She grinned and shook her head "Just ignore them.. c'mon"
He sighed and followed quickly... winding up dragging her into a nearby store and slamming the door behind them to escape the bugs "Phew... that was close. I thought I was going to be dinner."
Ro smiled "Well.. they're outside now." She glanced around and inwardly sighed... a jewelry store.... she really didn't want another necklace. She started playing with Az's necklace once again... keeping her hoof on it in case someone tried to take it.
Komori watched her and steered her towards one of the cases "lets find you something better now!"

"Here!" He held up a diamond necklace "This suits you much better!"
Ro eyed the necklace "Its lovely.. but... its a bit much... "
"Nonsense.. here try it on!" He moved to remove Az's necklace
She took a step back "I'd rather not... diamonds aren't really.. me." She moved, pretending to look at some other things so he wouldn't bother her again.

"Diamonds..." Azaroth scoffed. "Too common, certainly not for her." He frowned thoughtfully, focusing on the sapphire around Rowena's neck, If he touches that necklace again, he'll be in for nice little shock...

Komori sighed and continued to browse the counters "really? I thought every woman loved diamonds?"
Ro blinked and gave him a cool look "I'm not EVERY woman..." Turning back to some hair clips that had caught her attention

Komori walked up behind her and rested his chin on her shoulder "Find anything?"
Ro almost jumped, startled "Not really..." as she eyed the clips more. She'd have to come back for them... she didn't want Komori to get them for her. "Lets go to another store."
He shrugged and led her out "Okay.. I'm determined to find you a present though!"

Azaroth eyed the clips she'd looked at for a moment, in the next moment they rested in his hoof. He studied them thoughtfully knowing he couldn't give them to her himself. Maybe through one of the children... he thought setting them on his desk.

Ro sighed as they went through store after store... with her shooting down every gift Komori wanted to get. None of it was anything she would like. She paused as they past a book store and glanced at the window... then at Komori "can we go in here?"
He blinked "More books? Don't you have enough?"
She gave him a confused look "Of course not!" And, shrugging to herself, walked in and started to browse.
Komori made a face but followed "I can't understand how you can read so much..."

Ro blinked and squealed in the happiest noise she had made all night as she spotted a rare book she'd been wanting to read for awhile "Oh I can't believe they have this!"
Komori glanced at it "Its... old... and dirty..."
She nodded excitedly "Yes... its actually a journal the was published. There's very few copies around... and I believe this is actually the original!" She bounced on her heels clutching the book. She wasn't letting anyone take it from her
"... You want to read someones diary?'
"Journal... a WORK journal... of Merlins work with Counteracting the Dart Arts and understanding them."
He wrinkled his nose "Sounds... fun?"
She glared at him "Oh.. you wouldn't understand! This is a great find!"

"There she goes about that Merlin guy again," Az watched with an amused smile. He was happy for her and her new treasure. How could the vampire not understand? Her joy was so plain to see...
