Marie slightly picked up her head as they headed into the castle. "Well at least the princess and the king survived and the creatures are no where to be found....for now." Marie lowered her voice in a disapointing tone. "So now what are you going to do? Sleep or you have more duties first?" Marie asked as she though, "He needs sleep but I doubt that's going to be his anwser. I just hope he doesn't push himself too far, even though i gave him my energy he still needs to rest and make more of his own blood."looking at her hand she thinks, "Why was my mother and I cursed with this? Why does it have to punish others around us, while we watch them suffer?"

Vlad begins tiring a little, "I'd like to rest but I need to help plan a counter attack. By now they must be disorganized after two failed attempts. If we strike soon we can end this."

Marie stopped and said, "Well I can tell you that you're not going to find them durring the day. You sawe how their bodies lit fire and disapered. They hide somewhere, I've never been able to find, I know it's always the same place though." Marie stopped and looked up to see what he was going to do next.

Vlad looks back as we begin entering the castle, "So we gather our forces and send out scouts. Then when they begin moving at night we strike." He stops moving and rests an arm against a hallway, breathing heavily.

Marie disagreed, "Where would we begin to look? We don't know how to attack or what weapons they have? Once we get into the room I'll go over the places with you, and my knowledge." Seeing Vlad rest against the wall Marie ran over to him and was very worried. "You need to be examined."

Vlad sounds out of breathe, "Just follow their tracks...back to the source...should get us close enough." Vlad looks at Marie, "I'm no use to anyone like this. Help me to my room Marie."

Marie lifted him up and wrapped one arm around his waist and had his arm over her shoulders. Marie was very worried and scared of the after math from using the energy and lack of blood. "Don't worry I have you. We're almost to your room." Opening the door Marie lays him on his bed and runs to grab some water. "Here drink up." Marie held the cup close to his mouth.

Vlad takes a drink, "Thank you. I must say this is rather odd for me. I'm used to having to take care of everyone else. Especially the princess, the King's duties keep him busier than he'd like so I practically raised her."

Marie smiled, "So you're kinda like her seraget father. She must mean alot to you, I know she thinks highly of you." Marie applied a wet and cold towel on his forhead. Sitting by his side she is too worried to leave him.

"Yeah now if she'd only do what I asked once in a while, and everyone wonders why I look older than I am. Marie could you do me a favor and not tell anyone about this. Everyone kinda looks up to me, I really can't afford to show vulnerability."

Wipping off his face and trying to cool him down and get his heavy breathing to stop. "Of course I wont say a word. I understand." She keeps drying to help in anyway possible.

Vlad begins relaxing, his breathing becoming much slower, "Thank you for everything. It seems every time I turn around I owe you again."
