Edward picked her up and ran through the woods to his meadow. Once they got there he set her down, so she could stand. "Tis a shame that its always night in this forest. This would be so beautiful during the day."

She looked around, smiling. "You can even see the sky from here..." Alice gasped, amazed at how clear you could see the stars from up above. "Edward, this place...it's beautiful." Taking his hands in hers, Alice smiled up at him. "Thank you...for sharing this place with me."

He smiled lovingly, pulling her to the center of the meadow. "You are most welcome love." He looked up and pointed at a shooting star. "Did you see that?"

"Yes." She said, watching the shooting star. "I've never seen one before. Aren't you supposed to make a wish?" Alice rested her head against his chest, smiling slightly.

"Yes you are." He made his, which was to be able to fully quit chasing Mim. "Did you make one?" he looked down smiling.

She shook her head. "No, I don't need anything...I've got what I want." She frowned suddenly, tilting her head toward the trees. "Maybe I should've made a wish afterall..." She mumbled, listening as a growling sound seemed to surround them.

Edward let go of her with one hand, and grabbed his sword. "I think we are in for a bit of a mess here." Gripping his sword he looked around to see if he could spot anything.

Three Lycan's in their wolf forms, approached from the shadows. They circled them, growling. "Must be flea season," Alice mumbled. "The pest are here." Inching her hand down her left leg slowly, she pulled a dagger from her boot and stood ready.

Edward drew his second sword. "Lovely, just what we need." He eyed two of them. "Why is it whenever I go somewhere these damn mutts always have to crash the party?"

"Maybe its mating season." Alice joked, hoping to piss one off enough that they'd attack. "Perhaps they're interested in you." The wolves growled in unison, backing away slightly and crouching low, ready to pounce. Alice pouted. "Aw, Edward...three? That's an uneven number. No fair."

Edward crouched a little eyeing two of them. "How many do you want them love?" Seeing them crouch, he let a growl rip through him.

"I can't die, love. However, I'm more a lover than a fighter. In your case both." She chuckled to herself. "But...I'll handle one and let it go from there. I can tell you're ready for a good fight." She grinned, pleased she could still be so light-hearted in situations like these.

He smirked, then leaped into action, almost flying at one slicing at it.

The second wolf, a copper one, snapped at Edward, catching his blade in-between his sharp teeth, snapping down to get a nice grip of it.

The first, a pepper colored wolf launched himself at Alice, snapping at her. She dodged the first two nimbly, ((lol. Stole that from you)) but his third nom ((lol)) caught her left side. She hissed, but gripped her dagger tightly, digging it to the hilt into it's eye. The wolf released her, falling back and shaking his head side-to-side furiously.

Edward rammed the wolf into a tree biting it, in it's neck, ripping its throat.
