After a long night of reading through the books in his room, and a finally restful night's sleep, Ambrose was feeling admittedly better. Hopefully, he mused as he took his morning shower (that now took about twice as long as they used to with all of the fur), Greer was doing better as well. He'd have to check up on her soon...
As he went to get dressed, Ambrose's new acute senses alerted him that it was now definately laundry time.
After a few rounds of sniff-testing, Ambrose found a tolerably clean set of clothes (that didn't match), and grabbed the rest of them into a large basket, and headed towards the laundry room.
Hearing voices, he peeked his head in to make sure the coast was clear before walking in.
"'morning, Hargun... Joliette..." He gave a small smile. His fur and was still somewhat damp, and he was carrying a big duffel bag that was rather lumpy.

"Yes, definetaly nice, I'm glad there are people here to talk to" Joliette turned hearing the voice "Hello Ambrose" she said with a small nod and a wave as she took in his mis-matched attire with an inward chuckle

"Woah.. well Heya Ambrose!" she said smiling, and waved to the wolfguy. "I was just about to head out, but I guess I could stay and chat a little more. Me and Joliette were just a talkin." she said and sat back down next to Joliette.

Ambrose gave a bashful wince as Joliette eyed his clothes. "Er... I'm sorry about this... It's... well... laundry day I suppose. I shouldn't have let it get this bad, but I've kind of been preoccupied with other things." He said, gesturing to his nice, dress shirt along with the bottom half of his musketeer costume. "Definately Shouldn't have let it get this bad..." He eyed her Gi. "Laundry day for you as well, I presume?"
He gave a wave to Hargun. "Hey, Hargun. I'm sorry - I hope I'm not interrupting anything! Don't let me keep you if you need to be somewhere." He paused. "And thanks again... for yesterday. I really appreaciate it." He smiled as he walked to an unused washer, and began sorting through his dirty laundry for the darks.
"Oh... and Joliettte..." He winced. "I'm sorry... about what you saw yesterday in the cafeteria... we normally aren't that.... argumentative... really. I guess things have just been getting to some of us recently..."

Joliette nodded "Yes laundry day, though I think that'll come avery couple days for me, I only have like 3 sets of clothing and this" she avoided telling them it was her pajamas "It's ok... the arguement thing... it kinda knocked some sense into me too..." she blushed slightly "Ask Hargun, she heard my screaming"

Hargun laughed. "Yea.. sounded like serious anger managment." she said and patted Joliette on the shoulder.
"I wash my clothes everyonce in a while.. usually while everyone else is asleep. I just heard Joliette today practicing her martial arts of sorts and came in to see and talk." she laughed again. "No problem, Ambrose. I was thankful to get it off my head."

Ambrose pursued his lips. "I'm... sorry, Joliette.... screaming?" He looked back to her, feeling guilty. "I... I really hope I didn't say something to upset you." His tail swished a bit behind him.
He finished segregating the darks into the washer, and then dumped the contents of the bag into the other, a jumble of mostly white and khaki clothes tumbled in. Putting a heaping cupfull of detergent into the two washers, he turned the dials, and closed the lids, and soon the humm of the washing machines was heard.
He looked to Hargun. "I'm glad. Really. And Martial arts you say?" He looked to Joliette for confirmation. "That's interesting! I'm a fencer myself."

"No, you didn't, reality hitting me and I was screaming as I tore up the fake script sabin gave me when I first got here into little shreds.. was kinda just a release of anger towards him more then anything" she was quiet for a time watching him load the machines "Yes, mom and dad insisted I learn it when I was younger, for self defense, dad always said he'd be beating hte guys away with a bat... ironic thing is, I never have had a date, been too busy with my studies" she sighed "Fencing? I've seen some of that, calls for a lot of speed and agility"

Hargun listened curiostly to both of them. "You two had better watch out..I've taken several drawing and painting classes and have mad skills.." she said sarcastically but smiling anyways. It didnt matter to her that she never really learned anything that unqiue. None the less, it was still interesting to hear about.

Ambrose's tail gave a bit of a wag. "Yeah..." He rubbed the back of his his head bashfully. "You might say that, Joli.. I've been training pretty hard at it, actually... i just haven't had much chance to... well... do much with it recently." He frowned. "Greer - the bird lady - has had some sabre training, but I'm an epee fencer... two different styles. But things have been rather hectic lately. And I"ve been trying to teach Amaya as well - she's been picking it up pretty well."
He looked incredulously towards her. "Never had a date? I find that hard to believe!"
Ambrose laughed with a grin to Hargun. "Seriously, I think that that's great..." he trailed off, looking at her wing-like arms, realizing that he might be getting close to a testy subject. "But I'd be happy to teach you some fencing if you'd like." He smiled.

Joliette nodded and looked at Hargun and bit her lip, she did not envy her one bit "Why do you find that hard to believe? Well I guess the reality of hte fact is I was always too busy with studies or work, not that noone asked me, I just always found.. excuses" she looked back to Hargun "I'd love to watch..."

Since her morning encounter with the new arrival on the island, Em had been having the sour luck of missing every opportunity for human... or, rather... human-like company. She'd been out on the beach, walked through the woods, and even hiked as far up the mountain as her hedgehog instincts would allow her, and no luck. Even the village seemed like a ghost town, with everyone either locked up in their duplexes, she supposed. Maybe the islanders were still reeling from the repurcussions of the Halloween Party, and to know how much power Moreau had over all them. ...The entire island had seemed to be drained of cheer, ever since that atmosphere of desparation and confusion had set in. ...And something about it made Emelyn yearn for company- any company, even of people she barely knew at all. So she headed to the only place she knew where a person would be- the laundry room.
She'd expected, however, to find only Joliette. "Oh," she said, seeing Ambrose there, and also a woman who was obviously transforming into a bat, who she'd not met. ...Were there so many on the island that she was unaware of. "What is this, a new hangout place?" She said, smiling.

Hargun grinned. "Yea, Im sure you would Joliette. I probably wouldnt do so well even if I had human hands." she said laughing. It was the truth. She only ever had enough patience with drawing and any other activity she often gave up on. Though if she took Ambrose's offer shed at least have something interesting to do on the island. Besides, Amaya was taking his 'lessons'.
"Yah know though, I will consider it." she said with a nod. "It sounds pretty neat, and it wouldnt harm to at least try it."

Ambrose shrugged. "Well, I guess I've just been in the highschool and college scene too long." He admitted. "Seems odd to me that a perfectly nice young woman such as youself hadn't. But then again, Greer admitted to a similar background, so perhaps I shouldn't find it quite so odd." He dusted off his hands, and turned to Hargun.
"Well, I understand if you're not interested, but if you are, I'd love to teach you - heck, anyone. Amaya could use someone to learn with." He grinned. "Maybe we could even start some sort of small club or leage or something.." He looked to Joliette. "You'd be more than welcome of course. I've got two extra sets of gear, and we could probably procure more through the labs."
Ambrose spun as he heard a familiar voice, his ears pricking and his tail giving a few wags. "Emelyn! I haven't seen you in a couple of days! How have you been?" He laughed. "Well, it always works like that, you see. No one needs to do laundry for some time, and then as soon as someone needs to, everyone does." he grinned.

Joliette smiled "Thanks, I'll consider it, I think I need to procure more clothing first, three sets of clothings is just not gonna be enough to live on if I'm stuck here" she looked towards the door way, she thought for a moment for hte girls' name then heard ambrose say it "Hello again Emelyn" she greeted the female heading for her washer to transfer the clothing to a dryer
