Pyroth Ignatius

Pyroth was often one to take a venture in and out of the jungle, he had a secret desire to get to know the whole island intricately, after all, it wouldn't hurt to be able to go all-terrain if there was ever a chance of escape or evasion. However, on his walk through the dense underbrush, relying entirely on his sense of direction and nose for guidance, Pyroth heard quite a bit of yelling.

After a while, he couldn't ignore it and had subtly and "accidentally" drifted in the direction of the noise.

It was around now that he chose to step out of the undergrowth, finally getting a good look at the two. Hey! One of them was the guy with the drugs, the other, his drinking buddy from a few days ago. It took a moment or two for it to dawn on him that the two didn't seem on good terms.

"Uh...hey. I'm not...intruding on anything, am I?" he asked, averting his gaze with a playful smirk. He still hadn't noticed Billy's new appendages. "I mean, if you two want to be alone in the jungle..I understand."

Bobby flicked her hand up at Billy, some of his own blood hitting him in the face, "I am not the one with issues, Mister!"

Her next speech was cut short when she heard Pyroth. Her face, rage written all over it, was looking in his direction just for a moment. It went back to glaring at Billy, "No, Pyroth, you didn't interrupt anything... In fact, I think you are just in time.... This is the a*****e that I was talking about earlier!" She gave Billy's shin a sharp, but not too serious, kick.

Billy glanced back and forth between them, a look of frightened confusion on his face but gave a sharp cry of pain as he was kicked, his sore, thin-boned legs hurting even more and he stumbled towards Pyroth as though the coyote-man would protect him. "She jes' came out o' no where an' started beatin' on me!"

Pyroth finally got a handle on what was going on and stepped forward to put himself between the two, at least for the moment. "Really?" he said, quite sure that Billy was a sound character, not the nasty man that he had heard described to him "I was talking to him the other day, he doesn't seem that bad." he frowned slightly "He doesn't seem to be fighting back either, can't be that bad." He was odd like that, beleived in making his own judgements, besides, Billy had offered to share his stash with him, not just any person would be willing to share something so valuable. He tilted his head at Billy and added "Another thing that's odd is how a 'housewife' would even be concerned with him. Is there something I don't know here?"

He turned his attention to Billy and gave him a critical glance, puzzled as to why he would be getting the crap kicked out of him in the middle of the jungle. It was around then that he noticed his hands, the purplish tinge and suckers pretty obvious. He grinned, not maliciously and in a told-you-so tone stated "Bad week?" Nothing shocked him any more.

Bobby crossed her arms, her sack of food still in her one hand. She was trying to decide is, if it came to any blows if she could take them both. Her anger settled just a little at the arrival of Pyroth. A snort was emitted very un-lady-like from her lips, "Oh yes, not a bad character at all.... He shoots someone and doesn't even remember! He denies it, even now!" The woman pointed an accusing finger down at Billy

As for the comment about the 'housewife' issue, she was slightly surprised he even remembered, "Even a 'housewife' has to defend her family, especially in a place like New York City... where rat's like that one there thrive in..." With a rather vicious look, Bobby grinned down at Billy, "Or should I say pond scum?"

Bad week? "Y'go' no idea," He grunted. He half hid behind the Coyote, still cradeling his wounded tentacle. Hiding them was just not working at present. These folks didn't care anyway. He fumbled with his buttons, happy to at least have his pointer and thumb, still, even if the rest of his fingers had abandoned him.

"I don' got any clue wha' she's talkin' abou'," He grumbled. "I've only been t'the states once an' I don' recall killin' anyone. I think I'd remember a thing li' tha'." Shot at a few cops, but what did that have to do with a housewife?? She obviously had him confused! "Listen, lady, We're all shocked an' confused an' ROYALLY pissed off, bu' projectin' yer problems on me ain' gonna help ME feel any better, is it?"

Pyroth was not the one to be talking to about disregard for human life, he himself never did know the names of those he was set to involve in "orchastrated accident" only the number and address allocated to them. Sometimes killing was a way of life, it was a part of Pyroth that had blurred to a grey area. Someone could do something like that and still be a down to earth person, sometimes circumstances demanded a bit of harsh action. He wasn't sure how to articulate this thought though and merely frowned disapprovingly at Bobby, not blaming her for her actions but at the same time not agreeing, it would be hypocritical if he did.

"We aren't in New York any more, unless I'm missing something huge. Out here there aren't any guns and any grudges you start here will have to be held on for a very very long time. It's not worth it."

He gave Billy a brief sympathetic grin and added "Been there, bought the furry t-shirt." though admittedly, he felt a bit worse for Billy than he had himself, at least he had been becoming vaguely mammilian.

He shrugged at Bobby, at a loss what she was driving at, he had only just stumbled into the argument and was a bit out of his depth "Any possibility it could be just a misunderstanding?" he was tenative though, worried that Bobby's apparent anger might turn on him next.

Bobby ground her teeth. She got the impression Pyroth was hiding something. "No chance of misunderstanding.... non at all, sorry!"

Almost throwing her hands up in frustration, her anger was starting to spread to Pyroth as well, anyone to help her take it out on someone else. "You're right, we aren't in New York... and that is precisely the problem. At least there, I can deal with s**t! But you are slightly incorrect in your hypothesis... I guess you are missing something big. I would be here if it wasn't for that pack-o s**t cowering at your heels... so my whole reason for being here is around and very physical, I don't have to hold a grudge... I can work with revenge!"

Finally, Bobby turned her head back down to Billy, "What exactly did you do in the states? I don't care if you were there prior, I am talking about right before coming to this Island... which you ran to so gracefully. What were you running from, hugh? Can you feeble mind grasp what I am asking it to recall?"

Billy stared at the woman, his comical fear and running slowly draining from his face to be replaced by cold, dangerous skeptisism. How the hell could she know about that? "I was lookin' fer a job," He said flatly, his tentacles wrything about his chest and stomach, squeezing at his own wrists in his sudden surge of emotion.

Pyroth was actually finding himself becoming a bit peeved despite having nothing to do with the argument, on the island all grudges led to was tensions, fights and knockouts by the lab staff. They were turning into animals, they didn't have to start behaving like it! Perhaps that was why he was so touchy, conceding to anger was conceding to instinct and of late that was the last thing he wanted to do.

He glanced at Billy then back to Bobby "And? We are here aren't we? What can you do about it? Beat your frustrations out on a likely target? You hit him enough and all that will happen is that the labs will punish you, don't you know they are watching us all the bloody time? You abuse your freedom too much and they are apt to take it away from you." he narrowed his eyes, not so much at Bobby but at the invisible scientists who kept them in check.

"For example." he stated, his tone a teensy bit more dangerous "Were I to try and vent my frustrations on anyone who bothered me or who I saw fit to blame, I'd be dumped back out at sea or shot in the head, you see /they/ have guns. Expensive, highly accurate ones" he would know, a few of them had been aimed at him on his arrival.

"So feel free to take physical revenge, but don't blame me if it lands you in some worse s**t than you are already in."

He flicked an ear to listen to Billy's response to Bobby's question, not believing him one bit. No unemployed man would have that much drugs on him as he claimed to have had.

Bobby almost perked at the word 'guns'. If they had them, maybe she could use them? But no, Bobby despised the use of indirect weapons... she preferred her fists. Secretly, she debated if getting knocked out after punching Billy would be worth it... she came to the conclusion it would. It may not help the situation, but she'd definately feel better about it!

As for Billy... "What kind of answer is that!?" Bobby stared at her fallen victim. The day was turning into a rather shitty intterogation. "I didn't ask why you were there... I asked what you did. Like, specifics! Where did you go, who did you meet, what happened when you were where, if you got into any trouble? You're hiding something with that pathetic answer!"

That was when the details seemed to click in the druggy's battered mind. His eyes widened as he took a step back, one of his upper tentacles pointing suddenly, getting the message from his brain befor his arm did, "Ye aint no bloody housewife! Yer a damn cop!!"

It was amazing how a sentence like that could dive right into the darker guilty parts of your mind. Pyroth actually took a step back from Bobby, for whatever reason he wasn't sure, it was if by being a police officer, your aura of influence widened. In his line of work there had been an inherent distrust of police, they could stumble into a well-planned scene and become the spanner in the works. The corrupt ones were good though, could be paid to be off duty, or bribed.

Still, Bobby's attitude began to make sense, Pyroth hadn't been able to place her as the mild-mannered stay at home mother she claimed to be, but as a police woman it made a lot of very coherent sense, particularly based on the questions she had just rattled off at Billy.

He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head in the direction of Billy, smirking very slightly at the sight of his fast-thinking extra limb "Is he right? Because that would explain a lot."

Bobby scowled down at Billy. A vicious grin spread over her lips as he cracked the case. Okay, so now her cover was blown.... it was fun to be just a normal person for awhile, a feeling she hadn't had in over 10 years.

As the woman moved her smile to Pyroth, it took on a sweet appearance, "Well, yes and no.... I was both..."

She glared back down at Billy, and actually kneeled in front of him. Grabbing his already injured tentacle, she dug her nails in once again. Bobby growled, "You killed my partner and you alone are the reason I am here.... I will find a way to pay you back!"

Standing back up, Bobby threw Billy's limb back at himself. Without another word, she walked off... to attempt to save the beautiful day with a picnic.

Billy gave a cry, the poor limb definatly needing care now. "Feckin' b***h!" He stood again sharply, his face red with anger, "Y'heard th'cat! Wha' happened befor don' matter!" He screamed after her, "Y'aint go' jurisdiction here, COPPER!"
