Ayame took Corrine's hand and held on tightly
"ill keep you safe... I promise" she said calmly
the assassins tried throwing kunai at Ayame, she blocked some of them with her scythe but one hit her in the leg
"urgh!.."

Unable to help Ayame, Kratos continued to battle the three assassins. They were fast, but he was just as fast. Kratos guarded and parried they're attacks. In about half a minute, one of the assassins was killed. Darren had recovered and helped Kratos, until two more assassins appeared. He stopped fighting with Kratos and took the newcomers on solo.

Corrine gasped. "Hold still!" She grabbed hold of the kunai handle and quickly pulled it out. She then began to tend to Ayame's wound.

Darren, being less skilled then Kratos, wasn't doing too well against the assassins. He defeated one just as Kratos defeated the three that he was fighting and rushed to Darren's aid, "Light Spear Cannon!" he yelled as he spun around and defeated the assassins. "Phew," Darren panted, "what a hassle." Kratos quickly straightened up and sheathed Flamberge, "The question is, are they working for Desuxis or on their own?"

Corrine finished bandaging up Ayame's leg and turned to Kratos. "Maybe we should have kept one alive for questioning?" She was surprised at herself.

One of the assassins behind Kratos groaned. "Looks like we did." The assassin pulled out a kunai knife and stabbed himself in the heart. "I guess not." He muttered.

/She's pretty sensetive about this kind of stuff/ Darren thought as Kratos incinerated the bodies.

Ayame limped over to where the campfire was and sat down, she then examined her cruxis crystal "its damaged...this might explain all the episodes..." she said to herself quietly.
Zelos helped tend to everyones injuries then yawned "geez im exausted" he said still yawning
