((Sorry guys, I've been all over the place this week. sweatdrop Anyway...TIME JUMP!!))
Jou was so happy! It was finally winter break. And this year, he was staying with his kawaii Yuugi-chan rather than his perverted fangirl sister. Not that he didn't love Serenity, but it seemed like she was constantly pushing him to go yaoi on her. Jou grimaced in rememberence of the phone call he had made to her last week; telling her that he wasn't coming home this year. Such had lead to telling that he was, in fact, staying with an uber cute guy, whom Jou had a crush on. Serenity approved of that. (a bit too much, in truth.) Somehow, although she annoyed him to no end, it still wouldn't be winter break without her.
His mother, however, he could do without. To put it simply, if you shoved a lump of coal up his mother's a** and wait two weeks, well...you'd have a diamond. Jou was by nature a layed back person. This peticular personality trait tended to clash horribly with his mother's stiff preferences.
Either way, he was here with Yuugi now, prepairing to board the subway. Oh, how happy he felt.
((there you go, hope that makes up for all the slacking I've been doing. heart ))

Back at the dormitory, busy wrapping presents and working on christmas cards, Ryou sat in the middle of a circle of packages and brightly colored paper. His eyes were bright with happiness ans he put the finishing touches on Seto's gift, a pen gripped between his teeth as he listened to the mix of american and japanese christmas characters playing on his cd player.
He clothes consisted of one of Seto's big but warm navy blue sweaters, a pair of black sweat pants, and cozy white socks. His hair was pulled back in a temporary pony tail to keep out of the way.

The earlier mentioned brunette, meanwhile, was securing the final details for their trip, while ignoring the mentionings of rather harsh upcoming weather. If Seto set his mind to something, he'd get it. End of story.
Of course, he'd still put off getting a gift for Ryou. That was just one of those things you waited until the last minute for. Not to mention he was as hard to shop for as any girl. He always said he couldn't think of anything when Seto brought the subject up.

He hummed softly as he finished his boyfriend's gift setting it aside. He signed the card and enveloped it befopre slipping it into the colorful bag before slipping it under the tree alongside a few presents they had each recieved from family and friends.
