Kerri and I have been together for almost a year. Made things a bit easier to remember when I realized that two days after we started dating, April 9th, this guild came into existence. xd I just wish we had thought about this trip smarter, I just got back and our anniversary is coming up. Should have waited a couple weeks.
As far as I am aware, we currently have three gym leader positions open. Everything is up in the air right now, actually, since we're not entirely sure. There was a shift in power today, and we don't know who's changing positions to fill in the gaps in the league. For now, we're still trying to figure everything out.

Aww gee that's kinda a bummer, but at least you got to see each other so maybe think of it as an early anniversary visit?

Also what types are open, that would be good to know as well lol

That's pretty much what we did. This way, it also gives me a little more time to work on getting her here for the summer. She's a university student, so that's the best time for a long visit.
Hrm... lets see. We have gym leaders and E4 for the following types:
Fire: Me
Poison: Rain
Ground:Bunny
Flying:Snappy J
Ghost: Mosquito
Dark (E4): Topher
Dragon (E4): Jerz
Psychic (E4): Saisho
Bug (E4): Tyranno
also, I believe we got a Fight Type gym leader today, Masaru. Not sure if that's what he is taking. ^^; So, anything you do not see there is open.

Not a bad selection, well I better get ready!
I noticed you don't have a champion yet though, does that mean once someone beats the league they become the Champ? If that's the case maybe I should hold off on a gym and challenge the league, or can I challenge the league even if I was to become a gym leader?

We don't have a champion because our champion left today. We still don't know what we're doing about that one, actually. But gym leaders are allowed to challenge the league as well. They just get their own badge by default. xd

Electric types? Interesting...that'd of been my 2nd choice, had Dragons been taken already.

Learns so many nice, hard hitting moves. blaugh

I know doesn't it, sometimes it feels like forever and you still don't get the egg you want =>.<=
I haven't really looked into this generation's new Electrical outlets much (more poke-humor heehee)
So far from what I've come across Rain Dance teams are so strong and almost unstoppable.
Who knows maybe I could even mix the two types into one gym? That would be a neat concept I think.

My team probably would of been...well for 4th Gen.
Aerodactyl with thunderfang and stealth rock, this would be my lead. EV trained in ATK and SPD.
Electivire EV trained in ATK and SPD
Jolteon EV trained in SPD and SPC ATK most likely going to be the 1 setting up the run for the rest of the team to land their Thunders. =) (Only because of its amazing SPD)
Luxray EV ATK and SPC ATK. EV training the SPD would be worthless IMO. It's just horrible in general... 262 at best? <.<
Manetric EV SPD and SPC ATK
Dragonite with thunderpunch/extremespeed for a quick sweep
The team may not seem impressive at all, but it's probably something I'd go with. xd
