Did you go for the free/slow shipping, too? ninja I did, but I think they made a mistake and sent my first shipment by 2-day, because they sent me a tracking number and it got here really quickly. The rest have been pretty standard.

Streamjumper VLC is putting the subtitles at the top? That's definitely something with your player. I watch my stuff on WMP with the codecs and the subtitles appear at the bottom with the notes up top. Edit: What group did the subs? The one I'm familiar with is Wannabe. If you got a different sub I can tell you where to get Wannabe...
I downloaded and installed the codecs, and just restarted my computer, so I'll give it another shot before I give up 'til evening. Won't have enough time yet to watch the episode before lunch is over, but at least I can see if it was worth the time spent. sweatdrop

Blah. Now it tells me that WMP isn't properly installed and I have to reinstall it. confused This show better be worth the enormous pain in my a**.
Off to reinstall WMP...

WMP reinstalled and everything seems to be working nicely. The notes aren't overlapping the subtitles, and the subs look infinitely nicer with the fonts preserved, rather than the blocky white text the VLC player was putting out. Now I've got 3 minutes to brush my teeth and get out the door. gonk
Edit: On the bright side, the CD drive is working again after the restart. heart *brushes furiously*
