Downloaded 1-6 of School Rumble last night and figured I'd watch through the opening credits at least, this morning, to get a peek at it. The VLC player will play the files, but sans subtitles. Guess I'll have to look into something else when I get back for lunch. sweatdrop

Downloaded 1-6 of School Rumble last night and figured I'd watch through the opening credits at least, this morning, to get a peek at it. The VLC player will play the files, but sans subtitles. Guess I'll have to look into something else when I get back for lunch. sweatdrop Snag Mastroika (or whatever the MKV codec is called)... it has the proper splitter to fuse the subs in. One of the things Wannabe did is insert a switchable subtitle so you can use their HQ subs as a raw or to make AMVs from.

I was particularly confused since the Japanese-language subtitles were working for the opening credits, so I figured they just hadn't translated the song. Then I got to the episode start. xd
Got it working now. heart Aaaaand just enough time to watch an episode before I have to go back to work. cool
I also got my next-to-last shipment from the DVD sale. Eva Platinum collection GET! 4laugh
Edit: Well, it's sort of working. Every time they include a secondary translator note, it overlaps the rest of the subtitles to make things completely unreadable. confused Time to try again.
