So, I went to sleep at 12am, had to wake up at 2am to get ready to leave the house by 3am because I was driving with Foxi to take her dad to UCLA Hospital for surgery. About an hour before I went to bed, my throat started feeling awful, but I figured I was just really thirsty so I got some juice and went to sleep. By the time her dad went in for surgery at 7am, I my throat was raw, my nose simultaneously stuffed and running, and my head was throbbing, not to mention I still hadn't slept. Foxi and I curled up on a couch in the waiting room and slept until about 8:30-9 when the doctor came to find us and say the surgery was a success and he was in recovery. We they hit up the dining hall, got a small plate of breakfast to share, and walked down to get coffee while waiting for him to wake up.
We left the hospital around 12pm, and I pretty much felt like curling up into a ball and dieing. Then we proceeded with the 3 hour drive back home where I continued to feel gradually worse. Oh, did I mention that before I went to bed, the temporary crown on the tooth I had a root canal on fell off? I had to stick it back in using toothpaste as a makeshift adhesive. So by the time we got back, I had to got straight to the dentist and have them recement my crown since I won't get my permanent until Friday.
After waiting until 4 for them to have time for me, I finally left to go back to my apartment, which was another hour's drive from Foxi's parent's house.
I get home around 5 and realize that today is Monday, and i have a class at 6.
I missed last week's class because I had my root canal done and was on pain meds, so I didn't want to have to skip class again, especially since next week is finals week. Unfortunately, I succumed to cold medication and passed out until about 8:30 pm.
Still feel awful, pretty sure I have a fever. And, even though I finally got something else to eat (since all I had to eat today were some hashed browns and a couple strips of bacon this morning) and made myself some chamomile mint tea to soothe my throat, I feel like I'm about to pass out any time I stand up.
So, how was everyone else's day?

Awwwwww... Sorry. emotion_8c Halls lozenges do wonders for sore throats. They don't taste bad, either, if you get a good flavor. I like Strawberry and Cherry. And if you're stuffy and feeling congested, Mucinex is awesome. But not Max; it made me pass out too much. Sooo yeah. >.<

I took some DayQuil when I got home to help with the cold symptoms, and then some Advil before bed for the fever. And, now that I got 10 hours of sleep to compensate, I'm feeling about 20%-30% better than I was yesterday. I don't think I have a fever anymore, and my throat isn't nearly as bad. I had some more DayQuil and I've been drinking tea all morning. My nose is still stuffy, but that's the worst of it, other than still feeling a bit dizzy.
I decided not to go to class again today and instead just focus on finishing my final project so I have something good to turn in next week. That way I can focus on feeling better and getting work done at the same time, rather than feeling awful during class, not getting work done and not paying attention as well as I should.
Oh! That reminds me. My final for this class is to depict one of the 7 Deadly Sins. Did I bring this up already? Oh well... I decided to go with greed, and I really like the design I came up with. I'll have to upload some pictures later.
edit: oh! *high-five* for killer pirate outfits~ ;D

So I finally got the new thin post style approved sig banner done lol. Anybody who used the same banner I did for whatever reason is updated too. The other two banners are dead until I bother making them.

Luna's Incense, the item in particular is Embarrassed Dream (the one with censor bars and funny faces) which is about 1.1 mil but this kid is asking to buy it for 800k lol. It hasn't been that low in over a year, and I don't pay exchange rates. Edit: and of course someone just bought it at my awesome undercutting prices.
