did you know that all of the days of the week, except saturday were named after norse gods :O
monday = moon-day, originally muna's day (norse god of the moon)
sunday = sun-day, originally sunna's day (norse god of the sun)
tuesday = tyr's day, tyr was another norse god
wednesday = wodan's day, woden being another name for odin.
thursday = thors day... everybody knows thor XD
friday = frey's day, possible freya's day, they were brother and sister ninja
and finaly saturday was some wierd name that started with an l, and ultimately meant "laundry day"
of course, when the catholics started comming in and converting people, they were forced to change these names to try and "disconnect" them from their religion... yet, ironic how they still sound so similar.
