Dom sighs, "Meanwhile, irony of all ironies, I'm not even hungry yet. Who can eat so soon after waking up?" He stretches and goes and sits at the kitchen table, rather pleased with himself all the same.

Corri finds the food fascinating, since he doesn't want to hear abnout this.
