mangagirl050 Thanks dude, way to encourage me -_-; Jeez, I know I wasn't gonna win, obviously! I just wanted to see if I could get my pokemon to gain some more experience. I do it in all my games, I challange the gym leaders even when I'm not ready, 'cause I gain more exp. that way. Nothing personal.

You lose money that way though, by challenging the leaders. I just fight wild pokemon untill the expirience they give me is so small that I barley even notice it. Then I move to a patch of stronger wild pokemon.

Also, if you have trouble leveling a low-level by itself, split the exp with a higher-level Pokemon that can take out the wild Pokemon in one or two hits. The levels will go up faster than you'd think.

If anything though, I like stories that involve learning things the hard way. Overall, I like this battle a lot. Worthwhile materialistically: no. Character-wise: yes. I knew from the start that Ky wasn't going to beat Crenu, obviously, but everything played out realistically and in the end I had fun. That's all that we should strive for anyways, right?

There's only one thing that's been bothering me with this gym match, really. And that one thing is that both Brock and Train are using multiple attacks each round, even when the rules clearly state that each Pokemon may have one attack/dodge action per round. Also, if anyone hasn't seen the updated section on dodging and and its pros and cons, I'd advise them to do so now.

Also, if anyone hasn't seen the updated section on dodging and and its pros and cons, I'd advise them to do so now. I give ample time to react. At most I've done 2 moves in one "turn" as in reaction to a previous move (defense curl/protect) and then a prepared assult move. They can dodge if I dodged and vice-versa.
If the opponent thinks I'm being unfair they should say so so I may stop whatever the unfairness is. neutral

I think for my Norman battles I might have it so that if you are fighting Slacking then you just get two moves. It is really hard to write a post of your pokemon doing nothing. stare

Hmm... just because that astrology thing in Crenu's signature made me curious...
"Those gaiaborn under Falcis Piscibus often lead lives of solitude. They prefer to be alone and are quite capable of running their own lives, but cope badly when forced to interact with strangers. They are often highly intellectual, though they don't boast this or demonstrate it in public often. In conversations they tend to stay silent, unless however something catches their eye, in which case they reach in and accurately lock onto it, before going silent again. They can be very patient and forgiving, almost to the point of indolence, but if provoked they can usually come up the victor in any conflict. "
Sound like me at all? Anybody? :O
