Aria's jaw dropped, she wouldn't let Mercy finish the conversation like that. But what could she ask? She was immediately sorry she asked the question in the first place. And Mercy's words stung like venom. In life she was a devout Christian. Maybe Pastor Greene was right, but she refused to take that as an answer. "Please, Mercy, what did I do to make you angry? Tell me that you are only joking with me, so. Please tell me that that is not true. Tell me I am not a sinner for existing this way. Please, Mercy..." her voice was trembling and her hands were shaking. "Please Mercy... say that is not so..."

*MErcy smiled at her first reaction btu quickly grew annoyed.* "Oh please shut up. I'm not going to lie to you. As for personal experience though I do not know, I technically have no soul. . . and no heart for that matter." *She was growing increasingly bored but changed her attitude again back to her sweetness.* "I am very sorry to have upset you my dear young one. And I am not angry. If I was you would feel it not see it."

Aria nodded warily. Mercy switched her dispositions with the blink of an eye, Aria couldn't keep up. What did that mean for her then? She couldn't belong to Lucifer, wouldn't belong to Lucifer. There must be some way to earn her way back into God's good graces... Mercy didn't have to worry about things like that. Like Mercy said, she had no soul. "I understand..." she murmured, picking her words carefully. She didn't want to say the wrong thing and set Mercy off again. She had just had a glimpse of her bad side, and Aria knew instinctively, that it only got worse from there.

lance knew mercy was gettin irriatted from arias incessent questions "aria can you do me a favpr and grab me some bloodwine please i am absolutely exhausted" he sat there watching the shifting colors in the orbs

"Your in the devil's hands now girl, your best bet is to make a deal with him, other wise you'll live as people with souls normally do in hell." *She didn't care how hurtful her words were as she glanced to Lance and sent him a smile, it wasn't often people payed attention.*

Aria froze at the blunt truthfulness with which Mercy answered her thoughts. She couldn't move, couldn't breath, couldn't think. White-hot fear gripped her and she was struck dumb for it. She nodded at Lance's request and robotically went to retrieve his bloodwine. Unthinking, she returned and placed it next to him. Her brain had processed the information and catogorized it and did everything her brain was supposed to, her mind had comprehended it and shut down. Trying it's damndest to block the ugly truth from rearing it's nasty head.

lance looked at merct giving her a cold look "mercy do you have to scare everyone who walks in our door i understand that you ar blunt with the truth but that does not mean everyone need to hear it just yet" he lookedf to aria "thank you" looking back at mercy "think of it as wine you have to right for the right time to uncorck it or else it goes spolied" lance sipped the bloodwine"

*Mercy wasn't in a foul mood btu often tested to new meat. She turned her head down and kissed LAv's cheek sweetly.* "Do you think I was being to harsh my dear?" *She shrugged and looked straight to Lance with the face of an angel.* "You will hold your tongue if you want to keep it in your head dolt. Your looks do nothing, except maybe make your face stay that way so it woudl be best to stop glaring at me. You understand very little for what I have seen so I suggest you not go around and give your oppinion so openly. This obviously has nothign to do with you, and I never lie. It's her own fault for asking so don't coddle the naive." *She stuck her tongue out.* "And I don't scare everyone."

Aria's eyes were still blank and unseeing. "She's right..." She met Lance with empty eyes, something within her had broken, all of her faith bleeding out like a bad wound. "It was my fault for asking, knowing I wasn't ready for the truth. I see that now." Her voice was emotionless and unwavering. But wasn't the age old truth? Take away someone's faith and belief and you take away someones vigor. And besides, it was clickin in her mind. No matter how good she was in life, she was a sin now and she had two choices; either meet the sun or willingly relinquish her soul to Lucifer. And meeting the sun didn't even garuntee divine forgiveness. Mercy was right, God had forsaken her now, and when she didn't live for anything she lived for him. But she wasn't living at all was she? Who did she live for now?

Something flickered in the back of her eyes and met Mercy's eyes once again. Could she live for herself and no one else? Well she had no other choice did she? She nodded slowly, once up, once down. Mercy was proving to be more than just powerful, she was incredibly wise too. Thank you for your honesty... she thought, because she knew Mercy would hear it. I don't know if I mean it yet... but eventually I will, and maybe by then I'll be able to accept the truth.

She wrapped her arms around Mercy, and rested her head against her "I think you said it perfectly my love. But in truth neither of us really know what will happen to her soul other than what we have seen while we have been there. You know Lucifer changes his mind all the time on what he does with his little pets. I do wonder if our Father's ever speak while they are with Lucifer." She watched Aria "It would be good to beg him for a light punishment, the last time I seen him he was using the human souls he collected as slaves of a very interesting nature. God can not save you now, once that vampires blood passed your lips you were doomed. God will not take you back no matter how badly you beg him." She sighed a little "And Mercy is right you will never be on the same level as her or myself. She being a pureborn is even higher rank than I will ever be even at my power level. I get mine from thousands of years of being known as The Lady of Death, a legend amoung vampires, something that even the vampires fear. You remember when I told you of the infant vampire that was made and that the council had it destroyed? Who do you think played Death Dealer for the council?Not just with that child, but with anyone who needed to be killed. Being the daughter of the head of the Vampire Counil. Compaired to those who are born like us and Voro, you a low blood. If I went by the rules that most clans did, no low blood would be allowed to walk around." Her voice was harsh, the truth completely fixed in her words. Like Mercy she had been high born and raised royal, harshness was just a built in thing, a smirk paled acrossed her face, Mercy was never careful with her true nature, while Lady kept hers in check. She glanced up at Mercy "I am hungry honey..."
Jinx smiled at Voro "It was well thank you." He then looked at Mercy "The supply was getting low, so I went to talk to the village to restock for you blood suckers." He smiled more those who knew him knew it was merely a joke.
