Felina hesitated not entirely sure how to respond to Oassu's comments "Umm thanks for that I think but... I don't think I would really fit in with a big group of thieves. the lifestyle is just so different plus I would probably get caught in no time due to my lack of speed and hiding abilities" she laughed glancing down at her fingers "you could always teach me one or two things anyway"

Satoshi shrugged "Everyone is afraid of something so cut him some slack. For example I have a fear of flying though since we have been on the airship for a while now I'm not quite as bad as I used to be. I think it's just the fact that in all that armor if he falls in deep water he hasn't got much chance of getting back to the surface with all the weight" she defended him gasping for air once released from Hebal's grip.

Yusti chuckled patting Zadina on the shoulder "You don't need to mention human years to me, I know enough about age comparisons. Plus Gria have a slightly longer lifespan than them. We live up to about 130-140. Your brother sounds like he would fit in well here really well. would probably have many ladies chasing after him too"

Hebal smiled patting Mari on the head "I think I may go back and see Amane this dragon festival, I heared she gets lonely cause everyone else gets to spend time with their family that day. I mean it's mainly my mum trying to guilt trip me into returning but still... its been a good few years. But don't tell Gil about the water until you get there, that way he can't say no and then you can get the task of parental and friend approval out the way. I don't like deep water too much when its in ponds and stuff cause it makes my fur all sticky and dirty" she added making sure the dirt was gone from her dress.

Oassu smiled leaning into return the kiss "Your my fiancee I should hope I don't need to take you stealing with me for you to spend extra bonding time, we can have some of that anytime" he chuckled.

Mari frowned "Whats wrong with your mother would she not like Gil for some reason?" she asked "And maybe Gil will get on with your younger brother too you know?" she said hopefully "Still you should totally go and chill with Amane I'm sure she'll love having her mother home." she said.

Zadina frowned "I'm not sure, the others seemed to be ok and they are guys but if you say so I'll tell him he should totally come here at some point when I see him next if he'll be so popular." he said confused.

Felina giggled seeing the screen flash to a line of reporters waiting to ambush Gil upon his exit "I hope he thought to take the back door out. But it's because you are my fiancee that I should start taking an interest in things you like even if it's not to my cup of tea. Plus it may give me something to discuss with your thief friends so I don't end up standing like a tree" she answered rubbing noses with him.

Satoshi sighed sitting up straight on the edge of her seat "Not exactly, it's more like me and my younger brother Haru had an argument and he has refused to speak to me since, that took place around 6 years ago now. Mum may like Gil but she does all these modelling jobs in her spare time since she quit being a ninja... seeing your strutting around can be mortifying at times. See for yourself" she explained taking out a magazine from her bag.

Yusti smiled waving a hand dismissively "Sorry about that I didn't mean to confuse you. I guess I kinda forgot that you still have so much more to learn about the world. Do you ever think you would come back to this place based on what you have seen?" she asked taking the money from the customer who had long been debating whether or not to make a purchase.

Hebal raised her eyebrow at the magazine glancing at the front cover then at Satoshi "Well... I can see where your you get your appearence from with the excpetion on your eyes but your just being silly Mari she wouldn't try and be unfaithful I bet plus I would be embarrassed if my mum wore that stuff like that for everyone to see. Shame about your brother being a jerk, what was the fight over anyway?"

Oassu nodded "He's certainly strong enough but give him a break I'm sure you'd hate to be cornered by all those reporters and stuff and not sure what to do about them" he said as he watched two rapier-wielding combatants duel.

Mari giggled "Thats good but your mum certainly still has her looks for sure, but why do you carry that kinda stuff around with you?" she said indicating the magazine uncertainly "I wouldn't want that if my mum was in that profession" she said.

Zadina shook his head "I do love my books but....bless you...I just feel I could be that much more useful if I could wield a sword or something I mean I can hit people with my book but it's not the same" he sighed.

(THE TEN-THOUSANDTH POST!)

Felina grinned tilting her head slightly towards the screen "Actually I have all the barrier magic I need to get away and shut out all the nasty press people but Gil hasn't got the magic for that. Though I wouldn't say no to giving an interview if the reporter was creditable enough or the paper/magazine they were working for at least. It's only the bad ones that make gossipy stories"

Satoshi hesitated waiting until a few people had passed the store before speaking again "Unfortunately she likes to send me all the copies of her work. Sometimes I think it's just to annoy me and point out she earns about 500,000 a year from that work minimum. But I do get a little home sick from time to time but thats just a natural thing I can deal with" she smiled making a mental note to dispose of the magazine later.

Yusti tutted wiping her nose "Thats because your looking at it the wrong way. It aint what you have, it's what you do with it and it doesn't take a genius to work out spell books aren't good for whacking. But coming from an almost all warrior race I know for a fact everyone needs a mage. It's lightning magic that keeps this city afloat for example. Magic powers the machines moogles use, it can heal people, can light up dark places. But even normal books lead to many uses too" she pointed out choosing to hover just above the ground

Hebal rolled her eyes but couldn't help but laugh at Mari covering her pets eyes "Yeah I bet she does have normal clothes. I mean how impractical would they be doing just everyday stuff like cleaning or grocery shopping. They totally shouldn't get payed so much for that either since it makes them a poor role mofel" she complained but quickly changed her facial expression to a smile as a young couple stopped by the stall.
