Insomni stopped in mid stride, the ground sucking him in again. The monster cursed, and his tail slammed into the ground. "Not yet! We are almost there." The hand without the sword snapped once, twice, three times. The ground stopped moving as another power attacked the demon's own, holding them off. The bodies of the deceased in the camp, rose gotestquely, belching as they were animated. They moved together, forming the legion monster from his first attack. "Ugh." He spat, dark fluid spurting out of his mouth, and landing on the ground. The monster squished along the ground, moving to smother both Matachi and Katherine under it's massive bulk.

Matachi could barely even move his body was basically in a vice but he shook his head no. His eyes were returning slowly and the pupils in his eyes were beginning to dilate signs of deaths grasp closing in. If she died he would die too.

"Fine.." She hadn't meant to kill her she grabbed the knife it was harder doing it to yourself. Down her arm again both arms letting the blood seep into the ground this time.. that was the trick of course it would heal very soon she even had to re open them twice but once there it struck again the land itself moved up this time as there enemy sank down again the earth coming over him to lock him in a cage, she took up the blade, her blade again as the glow came.. a voice touched her as she went forward.. she grasp on to that memory where she had denied she had any light in her which was a lie.. this was it of course.. she moved to strike with her blade and the strike was the force of a natural storm controlled at her will.

Insomnia raised Alaster's legacy, the black blade made from alaster's remains. It vibrated in his hand, trying to strike at Katherine even from this distance. His own body recoiled from it, and in places, ebony skin ripped, and black oil leaked out. Without his heart, he couldn't stand this for long, but. . . He grinned. . . "ALASTER"S REVENGE" He cried, slashing the blade in Katherine's direction. The black wave of power plowed toweards her, as huge as the castle, and teared the very air it hit.

The monster snarled, and waved the blade wildly. It was true that he didn't know the power he was using, because he could only use Zandru's forge once, and after that, the blade would only be as powerful as the normal bone. "DIE!!!" He screached, and even when the sword pierced his back, he didn't stop, it passed through like if it was water. Black oil poured from the wound and left etches in the ground.

Matachi faced them, he had to help. He closed his eyes, the blood from his body slowly easing up coming to a small trickle. He was letting the sidiion fully take over now instead of containing the pressure he was letting it go. He wouldn't be able to last long but he could help. Raising his right hand he opened his eyes in quick motion, power from his right hand ripped forth exploding towards the beast like a giant arrow towards a human. That was all he could do. The air swirled and shot around as the invisible power tore the earth up as it went.

To much falling apart his strike wouldn't hand but to knocked her down only because it took a slice a huge slice out of the side of her arm that blood started to pour from. She made a gasping sound that was somewhere between a scream and a cry but niether she was up again despite the pain that lanced up her, and the drain of her natural power the godly side of her running to healing.. she picked up the blade again, the blood of her's that poured to the ground gave strength again to the earth and her blade more than before as she jumped up as far as she could which was high ramming it into what should have been his heart.

Katherine's blade passed through him, and the tar like liquid fell off his frame, which was alaster's skeleton. A death several lifetimes ago. The bleached bones fell to the ground and distentigrated. The black tar like substance formed into a puddle, flat as a mirror. "You destroyed it. . ." The voice resounded around the room they had been transported to. It was gigantic, and foreboding. "It was only a temporary vessel." The voice said, as a crystal rose out of the black puddle. In that crystal, was the girl, serenity, asleep in stasis. "If you want to end me. kill the girl."
