XD I fail at being a teenager.
Dad: "so. we were 250 minutes over again on the cell phone bill. I used about 200, your mom used 1500... and you... were in the single digits again... I think it was 5 this time."
Last month it was only 8. XP

Any other tetras (DIRT cheap), ONE betta, mollies, danios... Mystery snails, any small, non-aggressive tropical fish. OH! And DWARF clawed frogs.
Betta - 3-5 bucks Mystery snail (personal recommendation) - 1-2 bucks Danios - like... 80 cents a peice GLOfish/Glow Danios - 5-8 bucks per fish, but they're NEON UV-LIGHT GLOWING FISH. Mollies, I don't know. DWARF Clawed frog - 3 bucks (DWARF - only brown, claws on all feet. Not to be confused with AFRICAN clawed frogs, which may be albino and get effing huge)
What size tank do you have? 1" fish per 1 gallon. Tetras like to school in groups of 3-5.
I have 3 black neon tetras with a dwarf clawed frog, a betta, and a mystery snail in a 10 gallon tank.

I dunno. I just know they have like... faces. and they're cute.
and it sounds like you have a 10 gal too Z. I'm assuming you have neon tetras, since they're much more common than black neons, so you can get prolly 5 of them in there and still have room for a betta and a snail. Snails are always nice to have.
Tetras are pretty even-tempered fish, so as long as you put them with other warm-water fish that aren't big enough to eat them you're good.
since they don't look like betta, betta won't attack them. (they WILL, however, attack any other long-finned fish, like a long fin danio, and *maybe* the super colorful glofish.) Malice is the grouchiest betta ever and he's cool with his hyper little room mates.

XD no prob.
Just WATCH the betta for a little bit, and be prepared to move him if he suddenly turns violent. A little territorial nipping is fine, but once they start tearing at each other, separate them! It shouldn't be a problem (my tetras fight more than the betta), but always be prepared.
Black and Neon tetras would be cool too. ^_^ And Danios are pretty nutty too. Tetras and Danios are really hyper, chase each other around. It's cute. Betta are a bit more lazy.

ehhh.... i'm still iffy about throwing a beta in there with the tetras... but i'm willing to try it out. i just worry that in the cas eof having to move the betta it would mean a waste of 5 bucks. xp
