Been without the internet since the 4th (at home anyway) but it's back now.

What a strange day.. or page to uuh.. announce?
My mother passed away last night. She was pretty much just a shell of the woman who raised me, having alzheimer's and such, so we're not terribly devastated and whatnot.
I think we're still in shock though.

Apparently someone in my family died, too. o.O
My mom, stepdad, and distant cousin know who it is, but I have no idea who they were talking about. I guess it's one of those relatives you never get to meet or something.

Vickicat I know how that is. A lot of people in my family down in Miami have died, but I didn't even know half of them, only my grandmother. There's tons of people I'm apparently related to and I've either never met them or I've maybe met them once, or they saw me when I was a baby. Everyone else seems to know who they are though. I definitely know how that is.
My mom was telling me how my grandma (her mom)'s brother had open-heart surgery and I was like, "Wait a minute, Mima has a brother?"
