Wren giggled. "I think someone once said 'Normal is vastly overrated.' I think I heard it in a movie once. You'd think they were actually going somewhere with that, had it not been a scripted line. But I think people like you and I, and well, most of the residents of this gracious building have gone so far from normal that we've fallen off the other side." She took another sip of cocoa, smirling the milky contents.

"Oh, perhaps. Some here are more 'normal' than others, of course." For a moment, the woman's thoughts touched on Arlen and Lily, and Cerri smiled. "But it is truly all a matter of perspective."

Wren mused for a second, getting lost in the swirls of the cocoa's surface. "Well, I guess i have no room to talk. Its not like I've been here for a while. I don't even know who's still here and who isn't. I've been gone so long, that I don't know whats going on any more. I feel...lost."

((sorry. had to make lunch for my sibs. ))
Wren nodded. "Its ok. I'll get back into the swing of things. I'll be hanging out here alot more often anyway. I'm ten again. I can't do anything anymore. Which reminds me...I'll have to tailor my clothes again, because theyre meant to fit a taller more curvy me. But at least I didn't shrink much. Thankfully I stayed about the same." Wren laughed, patting her chest. "Well, about the same..."

Cerri laughed appreciatively, then reached out to ruffle Wren's hair again. "That's the spirit. Never lose the ability to laugh, eh?" Then the woman gulped down the rest of her cocoa and set the cup in the sink. "Sadly, kiddo, I've got to run... I'll see you soon, alright? Chin up." Then Cerri was gone, heading back outside and on the way to town.

Wren smiled. "Goodbye..." she whispered. Shrugging, she trudged warily upstiars with her cocoa, wondering what kind of damage she had waiting in her room.

River mumbled incoherently as she pushed lose strands of black hair out of her face, onyx eyes staring into the hallway. Blinking contently at how quiet it always seemed to be around the Muffin in the mornings. No matter; Kaden must be sleeping in her bed or Uka's room for that she didn't even care where he was. "...O'sunshine of doom.." River mustered under her breath and started the short but irritating walk towards the stairs then down them.

Sighing her feet finally hit the bar floor, the wood sliding under her slippers as she walked and looked around the concerdably peacful place."..Man.." She streached pleased that she hadn't ran into any trouble in the last few days.

River blinked and sighed deeply as she started the water on the stove smiling at it's smell as she ground up leaves and herbs she had manage to gather from her planet the other day. She loved intergalatic travles food, it always made her happy. after smashing the green leaves, she set them into the pot and started on some berries.
