Orkronos So I finally got to buy the new 40k rulebook and the deathwatch core book and gm screen but to top,it off I got the dice case that looks like a lasgun mag. Have fun with Deathwatch, it can be a bit unbalanced when setting up encounters, but the feeling of fighting through an enemy horde with your squad is most exquisite! blaugh

It's cool, at least you didn't buy them with expectations.
Shortly after I bought my two Deathwatch books, we decided to end game night forever...
I wouldn't have bought the FREAKING books if that was going to happen and would have saved like eighty bucks...

That really sucks even if they ARE good books. On a lighter note I finally started classes on Monday. I'm gonna be a welder. We started grinding pipe today to get it ready for welding. Unfortunately we are still setting up the welding shop. The building was supposed to be ready last year, but we were only cleared to move in about two weeks ago.

I wouldn't call it a wasted purchase as the books are a veritable treasure trove of fluff and other choice bits of background information regarding the Deathwatch and their modus operandi.
