Teddy immediately found himself enveloped in a fierce hug. If there had ever been any doubts toward Billy's affection for Teddy, that hug dashed them all to bits. He seperated and looked with fear at Teddy.
"Jennifer is pooling all of the mage students to open gates to get everyone out to a safe house! Get Hartley and Wallace! The teachers know where they live don't they!? We have to get everyone out!"

Cassie didn't argue but followed Chris.

Chris was then hit by a shield Cassie lassoed Professor Rodgers and sent bolts of lighting at him.

"Babe. I was just hugging Wallace. He's ok with Hartley. Hartley will take care of him," Teddy embraced Billy in return, then picked him up just a little because he could.

"Billy! Now!"
The urgency in Kale's' voice forced the break and Billy smiled nervously at Teddy before he rushed over and linked hands with Jennifer and Zatanna and soon swirling gates started to open up before the students, leading to the designated safehouse!
Zinda shouted out, "Okay! Everyone go! NOW! The youngest first!"

Len, Evan, Digger, James, Lisa, Hartley and Wallace got into Len's apartment, everyone breathing hard. Hartley, an arm still around Wallace put his forehead to Wallace's, his other hand opening Wallace's eyes and checking them.
"Stay awake, Wallace. Stay with us. It's going to be okay."
Leonard stood in front of them, holding up a set of keys.
"Damn right it's going to be okay. Let's go."
The rest of them nodded. Hartley explained to Wallace.
"There's more to this campus than just what's above ground, Wallace. Ms. Darkholme has showed us a place that we've been keeping some of our...toys..."
"Oi, are you sure he can be trusted?!" Digger elbowed Hartley, who swung around and punched Digger in the face.
"That's the LAST time you ask that, Digger!" Lisa grabbed Hartley by the shoulders and pulled him back.
"Piper! Keep it together!"
Hartley, breathing hard, nodded.
"Right. Come on, Wallace. We've got first aid down in the bunker."

Karen hoisted up the Achilles statue, and Wally helped her steady it as she prepared to take off. Suddenly...
"Wally. I am so disappointed in you."
Mister Allen stood in front of the two of them, his arms crossed and shaking his head.
"Karen! Go! I'll distract him!"
Wally whispered to her and then he turned to face his mentor, his friend, and his uncle.
"If you're so interested in reprimanding me, I guess you'll have to catch me first!"
And Wally took off....like a flash.

*Chris stumbled to his feet. Freaking shield was the bane of his existence. How many time had it smacked him in....no time to think on that. Clark and Donnie were holding the teachers back temporarily and Cassie had Rogers down. Chris laid a hand on her shoulder.*
I sent Wally to get Achilles with Karen. We have to hold until they get back.

"Are my eyes that puffy?" he asked, his voice quavering. He rubbed at his eyes with his sleeves, still trembling slightly. He took a shocked step back when Hartley punched some guy he didn't even know, and he blinked. That was such a Teddy thing to do! Well, this must be what Billy felt like. It felt kind of good, and he felt a warm fuzzy blooming inside of him. When Lisa pulled Hartley back, he snuggled up against him once more.

*Karen wraps a large arm around Stone Achilles's mid section and lifts him up to the air a few feet.*
"Got him. Wally. This guy was rock hard before he was stone. but this is crazy..." Nods to him. "Wanna Lead the way?"
Then suddenly. Mr. Allen was in their path.
"s**t! Wally don't do anything crazy... I'll be back for you I promise!"
Soon she was gone in the opposite direction.

Sure while she was fighting Professor Rodgers wasn't exactely the most romantic time to say it but still when all was said and done. Cassie didn't know if she would come out of this.

The students were being ushed uickly through the gateways, and Billy looked to Teddy.
"Okay Teddy Bear, you next! I hafta stay and help keep the gates open!"
